Nice video, looks well made. Two questions, is the barrel made of plastic or metal? How heavy do you think the cannon is when setting into place?

How do you know how much solution to put into the big gallon? How many hours can you do with one solution package?

      Good question
I mix 4 gallons of boiling water per gallon of foam mix. It produces 5 gallons of solution. Deciding how much solution to use all depends on how you want the foam to come out (lots of trial and error). I’ve change my method to using a 275 gallon tote and I mix 3 gallons of solution (275 gallons can last 1.5hrs-2hrs). Prior to that I was using a 44 gallon trash bin that was being fed water and started with .5 gallons of solution mixed in and added solution when needed. Learning to use a “melnor lever flow through valve” can help preserve you solution-water mix by regulating how much liquid is being pumped into your foam cannon.
      Hope this helps

Nice video. Looking to start in foam parties. Not doing anything else such as bounce houses or other rentals. Any advice on insurers? I was just quoted $4700-$5500 annual because “it has to be put under rental business policy". Seems high but I am not sure.
