때로는 서로를 옭아매듯 갈구하고,
때로는 낯설고 아득하기만 한 우리의 관계.
마음 속의 마음을 노래하는 도시의 첫 번째 정규 앨범 [dosii]
“lovememore.” 정식 데뷔 전 사운드클라우드 재생수 500k 달성!
각자의 세계에서 음악을 해오던 두 남녀가 만나 결성한 2인조 혼성 밴드 도시(都市)는 하루에 수백만의 사람들이 얼기설기 뒤엉켜도 따스하게 눈 한 번 마주치기 어렵고, 빼곡한 신호등 속에 살아가면서도 서로의 마음은 수신하지 못하는 도시인의 고독한 내면을 들여다본다.
이들은 지나온 경험과 감정들을 고백하는 방식을 통해 나, 그리고 너의 아픔과 고독을 살피며 까슬까슬해진 마음을 공감으로 가라앉힌다. 또한 상처로부터 억지로 밝은 척 벗어나는 것이 또 다른 상처로 남는다는 걸 알기에, 막연히 낙관적인 미래를 강요하기보다 서로의 속마음을 공유하자는 약속을 제안한다.
[Dosii] 앨범은 총 10곡이 수록되었으며, 정식 데뷔 전 사운드클라우드를 통해 7트랙이 공개되었다. 특히 도회적이고 아련한 분위기의 “lovememore.”는 재생수 318k를 달성하며 도시의 데뷔를 갈망하는 리스너들의 지지를 얻었다. 쓸쓸하지만 꾸밈없고 편안한 소리로 도시만의 감정을 표현하기 위해 프로듀싱을 맡은 종혁의 황홀하고 세련된 시티팝 감성과 지혜의 몽환적이고 순수한 보컬이 조화를 이루는 것에 주안점을 두었다.
