Last year I even tried two or three new pairs of ice skates, which almost made the problem even worse. Even after baking my skates, and pushing out the edges, custom-molding them to my feet, the problem persisted. My ankles would be bruised for weeks, and I wouldn't be able to play hockey again without two or three weeks of rest to let them recover first. I thought, there had to be a way to get rid of this ice skate ankle pain... There wasn't... So I spent the next year researching and developing a way to bring ice skate ankle relief to the masses... I went through many blueprints, fabrics, materials, proprietary designs, and prototypes... I even bought my own sewing machine and turned our living room into a bustling Christmas workshop ..(Carly was not too pleased..) @kevinCarly my son 8yrs have some skate lump is this also good for that? I don’t know if it’s the right translation for that butt it’s a small bump below the ankle from friction in the skate
@@rvankeulen1945 Hello, if your son is only 8 years old, these ankle pads are probably going to be too big for him and they probably wont fit him :( If he has big feet they might fit. The pads go around the ankle bone so it is possible that they might help for the bump below his ankle bone. I hope you find a solution!
Extremely overpriced. I would just recommend inserting a piece of foam in your sock. You can control how much foam you want for free. Usually you only need the padding on the outer side.
Hey yeah sorry, they cost a lot to develop and manufacture and ship and patent and insure and taxes and inventory and stuff, in the future they will be cheaper, and sometimes they will be on sale. They do really help a lot with ice skate ankle pain though at least
