My model husband has finally returned from the brink of death!
My model husband, who is also my husband, his name is Xu Ruifa. There is an introduction about him in Sogou Baike, and he was fortunate to be selected as a famous person in Shangyu, Zhejiang. He was born on July 1, 1940. His profession in China was as a Yue opera actor at the Shanghai Yue Opera Theater. He once performed alongside the famous Yue opera actress Yuan Xuefen in the Yue opera film "Xianglin Sao," playing the role of Lord Lu Si, receiving unanimous praise from all sectors of society. Due to his overseas relations, he was ostracized by his peers at the Shanghai Yue Opera Theater. Finally, in the early days of reform and opening up in 1987, he was fortunate to come to the free world of Australia. Although not wealthy, he has been free from worries about food and clothing. In his decades of life in Australia, he has never forgotten his expertise in Yue opera. Last year, I helped him record some of his singing Yue opera segments. Recently, he often acted as my model and recorded some videos. Just as my videos were making great progress, during the filming of several shopping mall videos, he suddenly fell ill. This time, the hospital performed surgery to clear the blood clots in his brain in the shortest possible time. However, after the surgery, he did not wake up within the time expected by the doctors. Therefore, the doctors had to ask the family to prepare for the worst. Life is so unpredictable, it just fell silently on my head. One day, two days, three days; one night, two nights, three nights... Just when everyone thought they had to give up, a miracle happened. He, who was wandering at the gates of hell, actually heard my calling. Early on the 8th, he finally woke up. Today, the 9th, in the afternoon, he actually lay on the bed, and sang me three segments of Yue opera. It can be seen how much he loves his profession. In addition, I want to talk about Australian hospitals. They made me, a 78-year-old person, cry uncontrollably. I once suffered a serious work injury in a forestry farm in China, and subsequent medical accidents left me disabled. I have been in and out of the operating room countless times, witnessing various situations in Chinese hospitals. This time, my husband's hospitalization gave me the opportunity to delve into Australian hospital internals and see true humanitarianism. First, hospitalized patients in Australian public hospitals do not have to spend a penny, no matter how much it costs the country. Second, there is absolutely no racial discrimination. Whether it is patients or hospital staff, they come from different countries and races. There has never been an incident of prejudice. Third, both doctors and nursing staff work absolutely diligently. They do not chant grand slogans for the country and the people, but they ground themselves and do every task well. Fourth, in the geriatric ward, every patient receives the best care and the most useful treatment methods and medications. It is not like some people insultingly say that in Western societies people cannot afford medical treatment. The actual situation is that people can get treatment without spending a penny, and even get free meals. I have to love Australia! This is a civilized country, and these are civilized people! In a few years, the differences between East and West will surely grow. This is because civilized countries nurture civilized people! Only civilized people can build a free and civilized country! May Australia always follow the will of its founders and walk on the right path!
