Me too! 😂 I just added some new baits, different colors, etc in my Plano this weekend. Going on a trip with my buddies this weekend. We'll usually pick a huge lake a state or two over, we've never been to. Camp out, fun fish all day. We're all motorized, And can cover water. His knowledge is really epic, and helpful. 💯 🛶 🎣
My PB large mouth was a 14 pound 4 oz caught on a Mann's 12" purple jelly worm. That was mid 70's on Lake Kerr in Florida. All these years later and I still fish the large baits. Big baits catch big fish!
Seen y’all out at Rocky today when I was at the old country store. Was going to say hi, but y’all were gone before I could get out the door. Hope y’all had some luck today. I caught a few good ones myself.
Love a 2.8” paddle tail on a 3/16 jig head, smallmouth love it and it’s finesse enough for picky largemouth without feeling like you’re finesse fishing.
Been watching this channel for years and still going strong 🎣 and remember keep your wobble head moving faster than you fish or drag a jig. Iv caught bass in the winter time slow rolling a white spinnerbait dragging it slowly and it works it is hard on my war eagle spinnerbait but who cares in February not me
Gonna have to give the Carolina rig a try. I use a Texas rig sorta like a Carolina rig sometimes by dragging it with a long pull and stopping. I’ve had some hits but no hookups so I’ll give it try.
I just got a dobyns 725 xtasy and a daiwa zillion 7.1 for Father's day, light as a feather using 3/8 oz jigs on it. Wondering what I should be using haven't used a worm in years maybe I should try one. Nothing is working but the drop shot I've been bank fishing all my life in lakes and mainly ponds
I too am trying a swing head with big worm and just picked up a Toad Totem at Number One Tackle last week, how are you working swing head, slow drag? Whats best for grassy bottoms on flats with holes in June?
Bass season opens up tomorrow for me, so I'm definitely taking notes. Especially since now I'm newly single so the lunkers can actually go on my living room walls instead of my basement lol
So i have finally talked my wife into fishing with me. First time out with me last month she caught a 3.5 lb largemouth on a senko! Shes hooked! Pun intended. However, she is not comfortable using bait casters and is trying to learn spinning rods. What kind of advice would anyone give to someone that pretty much exclusively uses spinning rods for using all these types of lures? Especially buzz baits because i cant find any spinning reels that can reel fast enough to keep it on top. Thanks!
terrific June baits vid, Gene! Man, Oh keep saying I’m gonna go back to the ball n chain one of these days, but never tie it on. Heck, when I used to use it, it works! lol GoDawgs!
Man it sucks i lived in pittsburgh where i can walk a mile and be at a river i moved out to california and i got 18 miles to the nearest body of water fishing is my live😢
That's exactly why it's tied on. I really love that it doesn't get hung up nearly as much as a texas rig or jig. Now I just need to catch more fish on it to prove it's worth.
KVD used a swing-head on a 10 inch worm at BASSfest on the "Chick" in 2014. He finished 2nd to Wheeler in that event. It was around this time of year. I think I'll give it a try also Gene. 👍
I've been using a Bonafide SS127 for several years now and it is the most customizable fishing kayak for me. I've rigged it up with everything a bass boat has except the boat payment and the gas bill.
hey man, i’m having real trouble catching anything. i aim towards bass but can’t even catch anything, my most recent video covers my trouble. id appreciate some advice from an experienced fisher.
The main reason is that I love fishing out of a kayak. The second reason is that it promotes an affordable way for my viewers to get off the bank and on the water. The third reason is that the kayak industry is more willing to help me feed my family and pay my bills so I can do this UA-cam thing.
Watch for this video every month.

"I'm using real light line, like this 20lb test" lol
Here I am up in the northeast catching largemouth on 4lb mono
I like it that you always have the life jacket on. Way to represent!!

Happy to see another upload Mr. Flukemaster. Thanks for the video!

good luck! first hook set is addicting!
Awesome video 😊 I went fishing today and caught a Yellow perch for my native fish tank
Did pretty good on frogs last couple days. Eastern PA.
Gonna have to give the Carolina rig a try. I use a Texas rig sorta like a Carolina rig sometimes by dragging it with a long pull and stopping. I’ve had some hits but no hookups so I’ll give it try.
Glad to see your vids again. I have been following you for some time but your vids stopped showing up. Keep up the good work.
Thanks so much. I’m actually going fishing tomorrow and will try most of the baits. ❤

Ive been doing really well with a 3/8 spinner bait the past few days.
Great video, thank you bro. I've been having great success with a Texas rigged Senko here in North Florida...but that's no surprise lol. 👍
Thank you to share your experience.
Love all of your videos. Texas works, but in AZ , DS works all year, believe it or not. I need to learn the buzzbaits..
I too am trying a swing head with big worm and just picked up a Toad Totem at Number One Tackle last week, how are you working swing head, slow drag? Whats best for grassy bottoms on flats with holes in June?
I'm still finding crawfish in their bellys over here in Arkansas. I wouldn't give up on all the creature baits yet.
I’m going to be fishing Lake Oconee the last of June…if you were fishing there then what would you use to catch some fish? Thank you!
Thanks Gene, good video and tips
Been slayin them on a Yamamoto double tail hula grub “5 👌🏽
Bass season opens up tomorrow for me, so I'm definitely taking notes. Especially since now I'm newly single so the lunkers can actually go on my living room walls instead of my basement lol
hey will we get to see any info on a glide bait or larger baits out in open water?
Can't wait till the giants get settled in later this month . Big worms on a swing head dragged slow, banging them against rocks and submerged wood

New too fishing here. Do these baits work best early morning, all day, evening? Struggling here to catch bass. Thanks
Well let's give it a shot
Love the video, appreciate the tips man. Im looking forward to next one.

Top baits for June!.... in the south, meaning these are probably good for me in August 😂
Actually I'd be using these baits up north in a couple of weeks.
Great Stuff! Thanks!
Great video. Thanks for the advice. Go Dawgs!
Man it sucks i lived in pittsburgh where i can walk a mile and be at a river i moved out to california and i got 18 miles to the nearest body of water fishing is my live😢
Would be real interested in seeing more on that swing head and big worm. Most people want to throw a creature on swing heads.
That's exactly why it's tied on. I really love that it doesn't get hung up nearly as much as a texas rig or jig. Now I just need to catch more fish on it to prove it's worth.

Haha just the video I needed, just started fishing , caught a nice small mouth now I’m hooked haha 😂 new subscriber here
Thanks for the sub!
So do you use straight flouro on your baitcaster? I’ve been debating it because I hate tying leaders.
Hey how are y'all after the storms?? Hope your family fared ok
Thanks for the tips
What net do you use on the yak?
Good stuff!
Love you vids man, hoping 1 day I can book a fishing trip with ya. Keep em coming buddy! Slay them hogs!
Nice video!
I have the hardest time casting a carolina rig. Is there a secret to it. When I cast it, I feel like an 80 year old man swinging a golf club.
Can you still fish off the shores?
Love the hat. Can we Three-Pete
I like your videos
Great video
What kind of kayak do you like? I want to get out of the bass boat some and get in a yak. Great video, man!
I've been using a Bonafide SS127 for several years now and it is the most customizable fishing kayak for me. I've rigged it up with everything a bass boat has except the boat payment and the gas bill.
The latter part of your response is exactly why I'm looking for a kayak 😂
Keep making great videos
Thanks, man!
Gene, first time listener. Long time caller. ;-) What are the chances of me bringing you an Alabama hat?
Do you have tutorial vids ?
Dig thru his channel! Dudes an encyclopedia of fishing!
When did you switch to a Stohlquist PFD?
I just bought it a week ago. I wanted to try it out.
hey man, i’m having real trouble catching anything. i aim towards bass but can’t even catch anything, my most recent video covers my trouble. id appreciate some advice from an experienced fisher.
Wife: why do u need so many fishing rods?
me: they do different things...
Wife: why do these 4 rods all say MHF on them?
me: uh...
👊👍
Hey man I’m your cousin
How so?
My dad is Justin
Why do you only fish out of a kayak now
Let him cook

Hello

It’s an educational video what do you expect lol
