"Surprisingly, this song was a challenge to play. The right foot is very busy throughout the entire song and plays different patterns for each section of the song. The 16th note ride-hihat pattern in the chorus section is not in the original tune. I took some creative liberties because it just felt right to follow the repeating keyboard part in the background. I enjoyed learning this song and mixing this one, it came out pretty darn good if I do say so. Hope you enjoy!"

Without doubt. I thought the song used double bass but the intricacy of that is wonderful. .
It certainly is. Considering it's a complicated drum pattern throughout the track as well. 9/10, it would of been 10/10 if the drum cover was played on a 80s Symonds electronic drum kit like the original version was.

That's what Phil Collins does. The old Genesis songs from the late 70s he has a lot of cool patterns.
This beat has something unique, like "sweet dreams" from "Yes". Excelent job!
Phill Collins played sometimes in a kinetic fashion. Lots of fluidity that connected sort of like Jon Anderson from Yes. You can hear it from the old Genesis songs from the late 70s.
That is one of the most solid covers of that song I have ever heard and seen. You really demonstrate your own exceptional skills, and just how amazingly UNDERRATED Phil Collins is as a drummer. He was not the flashiest drummer in the world, but his skills remind me, in many respects of the level of technical skill of a drummer like Danny Carey. Thanks for this wonderful video! Be well.

That kick pattern is really hard to play with one foot. Slide technic mastered to the next level. I think that even in the oryginal version this is played by sampler, and foot is not that complex.

Phil to Genesis was like Brian May was to Queen. Nothing spectacular, but just what the song called for perfectly. This song called for something sort of confusing. Just like this crazy bass drum pattern.
Phil is not playing the kick drum this way in oryginal track. This is Tony Banks on his sampler doing this background pattern.
