I don’t know how to say this. Take the music out, the vocalist out and regardless of the your appreciation of the song; this is simply a masterpiece. They’re covers are world class and their originals are even better. Darn if this isn’t my favorite band. ❤️🌸
Talent and creativity are put on display here in these few minutes. That's another reason why I consider them to be among the best currently out there.🤘🏻🔥 ___________________ 「 _"完璧なんてありえない" / Perfection? No one gets there._ 」 - from *BAND-MAID* - 'Warning' 🎶🕊
It was fairly true to the original, from what I remember of it. Except that I think Mayu's biceps were bigger than Steve Perry's, and of course Mayu was much prettier. I'm so used to see them playing their guitars in their original music, the video kept making me think they were shooting it with a slow-motion camera. Nemophila just released a new cover video for Hanabie's "Pardon Me I have to Go Now" this morning.
@@DragonPhlyy As others have said, the side-by-side video picks up on even more subtle & not so subtle nods to the original MV. Steve Smith the Journey drummer from '78-'85, '95 & '15-'20 has a pretty substantial mustache and also is one of the few rock drummers to play using a traditional grip (Stewart Copeland from The Police is the only other that springs to mind), so Tamu played the entire song with her sticks in the same grip (not exactly an easy or natural change). Mayu's husband cameo'd as a stand-in for the girl from the MV. Here's that side-by-side if you're interested: ua-cam.com/video/mq5b5-e9Ico/v-deo.html
I love how Tamu even holds the sticks the same way the drummer does in the original video!
Note that Tamu is holding the drumstick in her left hand the old style way just like the original drummer. Loved it especilly Saki's guitar

Esta vez se robó el show Tamu ✨ extraordinaria fantástica baterista ! Este cover es una obra maestra ! Alucinante impecable!
This is what sets them apart from all the rest .
They love to incorporate details from the original groups how they play or look :D during their covers
Just one more example of why I love this band so much.
Tamu couldn't smile with the stick-on moustache, surely torture for probably the happiest drummer around!
They bring out the nostalgia.
