Is it advisable to approach dentist during this corona virous period for procedure? Please advise.
Doctor, lam doing ortho now. 4 premolars has been extracted for the treatment.. during last sitting, orthodontist told me to visit dentist for filling my second premolar.. dentist told the cavity is too deep even though lam not feeling any pain.. he suggested to do RCT on that teeth and to continue ortho and once ortho gets completed, crown can be installed.. but doctor lam so worried about that does a RCT teeth is strong enough to withstand the brace force?? does it get break during brace adjustment?? is it better to remove the bracket and do RCT with crown and then proceed ortho ??
during rct, no force can be applied on the tooth. after a gap of 6 weeks force can be reapplied. having the bracket on does not make any difference.
The tooth remains strong enough
