definitely overpaid, unless 18k is what you calculated it is worth, not what you bought it for.
Bingoooo
I was worried for you until I started to see the singles😅
glad I made you sweat
My goodness the organization this will take haha.
its been a blast so far!
i used to buy and sell pokémon cards full time, and sell in person, on Whatnot and Ebay. after seeing what was actually in the collection I think you overpaid by a lot. did you know you were buying? can you get it returned and refunded? Whoever you paid must be very happy as he got to get rid of it all and make bank. to flip all that won’t be easy. The work of actually selling is tedious , especially if you’re planning to list online, as most cards are $10 or under range, having to find a buyer, and not to mention the time, work, energy, stress, creating a business, taxes and often online fees will take a huge chunk. If you get anywhere near breaking even that would be considered a win. The fact that there weren’t super crazy high end cards graded and it being just etbs and product and some lower end singles is just not worth the hassle. photos, conditioning and appraising each item to list or find a buyer is gonna be tough. Now days everyone is a seller so there’s more competition and margins just aren’t there for resellers. I have a large collection and it’s taking me years to try and downsize my collection. I still have 4000 graded cards and 5000 raw singles to go through. probably at least 250k in value that will take me the next 10 years to sell off. (you’re welcome to buy me out lol it’s a huge collection) Some of the cards i’m sure you could individually sell and make some profit but you’ll still get stuck with so much mediocre cards no one really wants. I would break it down in lots or just send it for consignment to deal with shipping etc. If you can move stuff on FB and maybe avoid fees and taxes that would help. I was expecting maybe high end first ed’s, alt arts, shinings, gold stars. ponchos, or something crazy like a vintage box to make up for all the low end. it’s definitely a lot but i think you should of got a much better price or better pkmn contents and higher end items, hope it all works out gl
@churmander
I didn’t pay 18k…
He probably paid 70% or lower if they needed cash asap, I would expect him to pay 10-12k if it's "worth 18k"
What did you pay? @@ThePersonalPokedex
60%
They have videos on this channel where they sell at card shows, I'm pretty sure he knows how the pokemon tcg market works
18K, I would need some vintage and evolving skies booster boxes. Most of it was space wasting singles. You got scammed bro..
no, the core of my business is $1-$500 cards, move at a much faster pace than sealed product
alot of bulk and junk... i hope you didnt pay near 18k
18k ?!?!?!!!??????!!!!! Your wife must be PISSED
Crazy pickup! 🔥
Would love to know how much you paid. Probably got it for a steal. Good pickup
on large buyouts I typically pay 60-65% depending
Thanks for the content as a collector it makes me happy
Glad you enjoy it!
Where is the 18k coming from ? Seems more like a 3-4k box tbh lol
Was thinking 8k-10k OK a great day
@@Doors067 too many ungraded damaged singles to be worth that much imo. but if this guy has experience selling damaged vintage cards then that’s why he bought it for potentially that much. Personally I wouldn’t spend more than 3.5k on all this. But I also don’t do card shows.
a majority of these singles are LP/NM/M
16:14 condition on that unown j?
Can I message you about any and all flygons you got to purchase?
Yes
How do you track profit per item? Or how do you even know if you are making money?
An awful lot of research 😂
His big brain 🧠
I track cash in cash out, I do not do inventory
Where’s the other $15K of value bruzza?
this is nowhere near 18k hope u didnt even pay over 8 for this lmao
Whoa 😮
Juice
don't think it's worth 18k
i didn't pay 18k, 18k is the value of the items on tcg and collector app
🔥🔥🔥
Idkkkk
All that is worth at most 2k. Bunch of shit singles
Mehhh some of the bangers alone are worth 1-2k with the sealed product on top I would pay max 3.5k for this myself, lots of singles that I don’t think would move even in 5 years but some of the bangers definitely will. Would appreciate if he just said how much he got it for and why he thinks it’s worth “$18,000” because I’m not seeing it
Did you not watch the end of the video? I saw quite a few singles in the $500 * range alone
@@Als_Attic989 not graded, hard to gauge value on LP/MP/DMG vintage cards. In my personal opinion they are hardly worth anything cuz I would never buy anything ungraded unless it was a bulk deal for super cheap. which is what I’m guessing happened here. That’s why I said like 3-4k for all this.
@@drizzho if you piece it out it’s easily triple that it just comes down to putting the work in. If he paid 18k he lost big time but I’m sure he paid closer to 3-4k range and just click baited the title
on large buyouts I typically pay 60-65% depending
Haha u got scammed dog
this is nowhere near 18k hope u didnt even pay over 8 for this lmao
