When you see what it takes to reproduce the sound of these songs, you know what a supreme talent the Beatles were. The Analogues may not have written them, but their immense talent and dedication shows here as well. My hat is off to you. You're fantastic!
Wow! These guys are absolutely fantastic. More than a cover band. Their attention to detail is wonderful. They get deep into all the songs and really duplicate almost all of the tricky nuances done in the studio and they are doing it live. Just superb. I have just found these guys and have watched quite a few of their videos now and I am beyond impressed. Being a musician myself I realize how hard these guys have worked to get their sound just spot on. Also the detail of honoring equipment used by the Beatles themselves. Like using specific bass guitars as Paul did. I think I see a Hofner bass and a Rickenbacker and I am not sure i have seen Paul use a Fender but it sounds good anyways. My only nit pic is in this song which is my favorite Beatles tune out of many. The bass just doesn't have that sound that Paul got on the opening which is what love the most about this song. I know in the recording George Martin could be adding some of his magic to the bass, but on Paul's version it sounds a bit more muted and deeper pitched as well as he might be doing a more percussive thing on his picking but I have never been able to get it right either and its maddening, other than that, this dudes totally rock! Absolutely hands down, you guys do the Beatles the best of anyone.
Sir Paul, I hope you are watching these gentlemen.......the arrangements are perfect, John and George would be happy to hear this, and Ringo would offer to play with them.......😅🙂😉
Wow. Just Wow!. You guys knocked it out of the Park. Like a commenter stated previously, this gives the viewer/ listener a peak into how complicated the Beatles' music was.
A Wonderful version of the great Beatles-song. This brings the happy-day-feeling to me in Finland in November, when the climate is awful and it's dark and sad everywhere. What a Band!
This song never wasn't a big hit in 60s, but what a live-piece this song is. Just amazing version. I love those violistladies in their white dresses... grrr!
I echo the knowledgable comments about the Analogues tribute to the little nuances in the late Beatles music. But a word for the stage hands! Bells, whistles, different guitars, instruments from weird and wonderful places. Well done all
At 1:28 where they sing You keep all your money(in a big brown bag) they make the chord stand out more, on the record it's low in the mix but it's certainly there, a little surprise here! As is the full ending...a supurb version of this obscure Beatles track...
Im not really an expert but when I play along with bass to the original track . It comes after B flat during the transition to the C chord. So its B flat, B note, C note. It kinda sounds the same 🙂
this is a strangely fun song I was crazy about when it first came out in 1967, and it maintains its appeal now. to me it's also strange some group would attempt covering it these days
I have now watched almost all of the Analogues recordings and documentaries as well and am amazed at what they have achieved . I will be first in line when they come to Australia . No one will be able to top them ,they even got hold of a Melatron and a hamond valve job not to mention all the other instruments to recreat the sound from the studio , great job guys .
@@ivanjulian2532 I was there when then did Abbey Road Live for an audience of 15,000 last year. Amazing how strong the repertoire sounded in such a large hall, even the more intimate songs like Here Comes The Sun. The medley blew everyone from their socks! Too bad their Revolver performance today and this weekend had to be cancelled. Did you see their present to John's birthday: ua-cam.com/video/5jT9j0SoT2U/v-deo.html ?
This rocks. Not the most known Beatles-song, but this band gets it alive, big time! Actually perhaps better than the original (please don't kill me saying that!)
Awesome, just awesome!!! Analogues. All my life I have always known of the title of this song. But never once had I sat down and listened to it. Then came across this (and you weren't even the Beatles). Wow. I think it has just replaced Nowhere Man as my favorite Beatles song. Are you guys playing in England some time. If so will certainly be buying tickets.
I never noticed that chord progression on the line "you keep all your money in a big brown bag" It's awesome. I never noticed it on the album recording before.
got to admit this, they capture the sound beautifully.
This song was not meant to be played live . . . . . but they managed to do it. Well done guys !

may not? clearly they did not
That clearly was directed to those who like to point that out. Lots of critical types here on UA-cam.
You don't say. @@BrianKliewer
Hear, Hear. This was an amazing homage.
No one beats the Beatles, but you came close well done cheers.
The orchestra in white standing and clapping is a real buzz!! ❤❤
I've always felt this is a massively underrated Beatles song. Absolutely brilliant!
One of my favorites from magical mystery tour. Underrated album, song and cover..well done!

Toca melhor que The Beatles (=Plays best than The Beatles)
Er, Paul played a lefty Jazz Bass on many tracks of the White Album and Abbey Road.
Gotta love that bass opening
in the original that is haha, not bad here, but just not the same
This is played with a rick
Fantastic version. Really enjoyed it.
Excellent band. Could easily tour the world playing to enthusiastic audiences. I'd certainly buy tickets.
I second that!
This song reminds me of my times in London with a red bus rover ticket and walking down Carnaby St as child. Happy days
I have always loved this song; these guys are flawless! Thank you, Analogues! You are THE best!
My favorite Beatles song.
Thx
Probably the most underrated Beatles song
Along with I'm so tired
@ indeed
rod stewart on guitar, steve wozniak on synth and vocals and young elton john on keyboards?! great cover guys!
This is a very complex song to cover, and these guys pull it off incredibly.
And Joe Biden on drums.
You win!
After a sweaty day at a Donald Trump rally and a quick shower, Tiffany and Ivanka Trump doing female background vocals at this appearance.
Roger Daltry on bass and Ed Sheeran on keys. Pretty amazing line up for the money.
Sir Paul, I hope you are watching these gentlemen.......the arrangements are perfect, John and George would be happy to hear this, and Ringo would offer to play with them.......😅🙂😉
You guys are really amazing. This is a really hard song to capture live. Very exciting version.
Dig that
One word - perfection. ❤ 🎶

the beatles could bring light and love into hell itself! long live the Beatles and the awesome vibe of the 60;s!
Excellent, sounds just like the original.
Bem melhor do que os Beatles (= Just better than the Beatles)
Even better than original. Beatles never performanced that song live.
@@dupont135 Beatles did it live when they recorded it - you can hear that in Lennon's vocal!
When I listen to this song I get good vibes and I'm also happy
This is a great version of the song.
Well, strangely This is my favourite Beatles song and, Wow! What an awesome performance! Thank you, you nailed it!
It's in my Beatles top-5.
Agreed, it's such a good, affectionate, respectful, and, yet understated, performance.
Well done to all concerned.
That was bloody good.
Hong Kong Phooey brilliant!
WOW GREAT SINGING. .SOUNDS LIKE THE BEATLES
I challenge ANY band to do this song live and sound as good as the original (which was never performed live).
Philip Seymour Hoffman is my favorite beatle.
What a trip...I can almost say I saw/heard the Beatles live...Bravo!
I never heard a better cover, unbelievable !!!!!
The Beatles are a gift
Wonderful work! One of my favourite Beatle songs, and great to see it played live.
This song never wasn't a big hit in 60s, but what a live-piece this song is. Just amazing version. I love those violistladies in their white dresses... grrr!

Got a chill on that chord! I played it twice to be sure and it happened again.
Im not really an expert but when I play along with bass to the original track . It comes after B flat during the transition to the C chord. So its B flat, B note, C note. It kinda sounds the same 🙂
Oh hell yes!!! That chord makes all the difference!!
Best LIVE version I've ever heard, Great job guys.

Wooooooow ..
Great interpretation !!
This rocks. Not the most known Beatles-song, but this band gets it alive, big time!
Actually perhaps better than the original (please don't kill me saying that!)
The Beatles just barely had the technology in the studio to do this song, never mind live.
It was a brilliant choice to close ‘The Social Network’ which probably gave it more exposure.
It's not imo but to each their own
I just love those two violistfemales in backround, they make this video perfect... Nothing to diminish, they just are lovely as this song.
It's good yes but not THAT good.
Outstanding sir, best cover of this perfect song...thanks for this video
