It's horrible that the announcement went out and players prepared by using the reset on unused/unwanted heroes in anticipation of the reset going away. There was no info on whether they were going to stop the daily task of updating Gift of the Elements by 1, so sparks needed to strategically be kept in inventory. Only to find out that the reset isn't going away... Good that it isn't going away, for sure, but it sucks that we can't take back the preparation in anticipation of it.
Hmmm, currently nothing else in the game goes to lvl 140 so I'm rather doubtful they'd start with Titans... Especially when they've just been raised from 120 to 130
The people with all titans on lvl 120 have so many unused titan potions, they will have them all at lvl 130 within seconds. Players on a budget usually dont have all on 120 anyway, so they will just fall further behind.
I think it's all just more money grubbing... the game and all the seasons, events and the associated tickets are all just to gain more money. PERIOD. And they can't even keep the game from crashing all the time due to all the shit they add to it without being prepared for it. And there's obviously players who are much smarter than the developers because they cheat and nothing ever gets done about it
Great!. Now give us an option to summon just 1 pet, not 10, even if we have more than 10 eggs to summon. Same with artifact sphere. And last but not least, give us an option to open just 1 chest/doll/etc.. when opening inventory, not all of them. Thank you!
I think that the initial 193 LV was set just calculating the tons of titan potions that old players have accumulated in the past years! Probably they thought, before releasing maybe another element group of titans, to make almost all the older players to use titan potions. Otherwise all of us know that it should be very fast (and not expensive) to maximize every new entry 😉 But I am almost sure that they will find another way for making this 😅
I hope there are requests for them to increase the access to FREE resources when they add levels. It takes many years to get full totem, adding level means adding more years without any change to FREE resources from events.
I spend a little money on this game, so not complete free-to-play player. And I immediatly decided that totems is not worth it. Its basically a bottomless pit for money
Even if titan leveling will be capped to 130 for the moment - Nexters cancelled a big step to increase monetization of the game, so they will add more small steps. Because the underlying motivation for this "update" still exists - growing greed.
I knew they would do this. I bet it was their plan all along, seems to be a new theme of theirs. Announce something COMPLETELY awful that nobody wants and then go back on that and release an not-quite-as-shitty-but-still-very-shit-update.
There's still about a 90% chance I'm quitting. They are literally only implementing garbage changes the last year or more. More AoC, stupid boss battle quests, even more boring pvp battles except you cant use your heroes because they're banned, heroes that you can't get soulstones for, etc etc etc. All these changes for a single purpose - trying to get people to spend more money on the game. And it's obviously backfiring if you look at their income the last quarter which has dropped massively.
For the past 1,5 week or so DUNGEON has become increasingly difficult and frustrating (I'm at around lvl 16k) and it would seem like the difficulty has been raised as to entice players to upgrade their Titans ASAP.
Look, Hero Wars is a business, stop bitching about them 'making money'. That's 100% the reason they do this.. duh... And going to level 130 vs 193, that is a victory. As free-to-play players would never ever be able to get to level 193. And the fact that heros go to level 130, and now titans go to level 130 kinda makes sense. They should increase the output/availability of resources though. I've been playing for 4 years (spend less than $80 total in that time) and I only have 6 maxed out titans. I am dissappointed now that I'll have to work another 2 years to get those 6 back to maxed out...
That's exactly what they planned and that's what they got... What community succes?? The higher level was just to give you a sense of "victory". Are you blind?? 🙂
i have been playing about 1 year now & my Titans are pretty much lvl 100 iam so close ! ..but so the plans to cap at 193 was abit of a shock but my assumption has always been from the start that when a player reaches 130 then what ? this game must be so freakin boring once eveything is max, so maybe the level cap isnt such a bad idea..
This is for me terrible idea which will make difference between premium and most time free players even more overwhelming. It costed me a lot time and even real money to upgrade some titans to the highest level, and as we know every jigher level is much more expensive.... For premium players it would be just buying in one buy upgrades for the rest it will take months/years to catch up level when they can be not crashed in a few seconds... This direction is great for premium players as their play will be even easier but.... Gor whole community and game itself it is bad... I believe more people will just give up...
Typical marketing strategy to get everybody to accept the change to level 130 without blowback.
