    This is great G Man!
So much talent at such a young age.
At the very beginning, I almost expected it to develop into the song Play That Funky Music by Wild Cherry.
A blend of jazz, funk, and disco is quite unique. 😮

Glad you liked it. They sound *_glorious._* Don't look, and they're mid forty year-olds, playing in Letterman's House Band. I'm impressed by their 'feel'. Quincy Jones meets Nils Rodgers meets David Sanborn? Maybe Cory Wong and Vulfpeck?
The original was composed for an Indonesian band called Karimata by their bass player Erwin Gutawa in the '80s.
It sounds like theme music to 70s/80s US sitcoms, late night talk shows, or as BP1 said, game shows.
I worked for a guy who'd come into our office, give us a serious, deadpan look and say "Play that Funky Music White Boy"
      Best Wishes. ☮
      Second attempt at posting.

Absolutely incredible. Great suggestion once again, G-Man. Naturally, my focus was on the bass player much of the time. Like BP2 said, he wasn't just playing a simple base line. He was jammin'. I came really close to putting my bass guitars on Craig's List after watching this, but I just can't let go of them. Jazz is the most difficult genre to play well in my opinion. It's something I have no talent for. And they pulled it off effortlessly. Fantastic reaction guys. Thanks for sharing,- Hawk

I'd hoped you'd enjoy the bass plater, Gev Delano. Very talented, and great stage presence in this.
He has the 'cajones' to cover Jaco Pastorius at 9yo! www.youtube.com/@GevDelanoChannel/videos
Do you know the band 'Dirty Loops'? (other than the "Thriller" cover) www.youtube.com/@dirtyloops
Their bass player is pretty good (maybe too 'Pop' for your taste?):

Lovely reaction. 👍👍You both getting into it, is joyful to behold. BP2's jaw needed a support. 😲The song reminded me of 70s/80s US sitcoms, late night talk shows, so yes, game show. Not Quincy Jones, but an Indonesian contemporary. The young bass player, Gev Delano, _has_ appeared on several Davey504 videos ①. He collaborated with Yoyoka too; deserves more support. The drummer Elnoe Budiman is very good; Not Yoyoka, but deserves _much_ more support. Saxophonist Marcello Alexander has under 150 subscribers 😞. He added sophistication to Sketsa. He's done a nice "Hark the Herald Angels Sing". Keyboardist Charvel Yoel flavoured the mix throughout. Did you notice he was playing two keyboards? AFAIK, he has no channel but has appeared on others channels.
Guitarist, Abim Finger has about ⅓million subscribers, and some excellent covers, though too many video cuts for my taste. No Tina S, but worth checking out by guitar lovers. Yes, Abim had the Nils Rodgers 'Chic' sound.
Thank you for helping bring more people to see them. Before lockdown, it had never occurred to me that there are so many hyper-talented kids around the world making great music. Some of them, especially Yoyoka, got me through that isolation with at least a few marbles left. The least I can do is try to support them in return.
AFAIK, this was broadcast nationally. It was made during lockdown. So it'd be simplest to pre-record. I AssUMe the visuals were for the broadcast. Not impossible to do those live, but live visuals make it a bit more challenging.
They were _very_ tight. So I think it'd be hard to do that as a virtual concert all played at the same time, only listening to each other, unless they have low latency connections throughout. Very possible in a custom built TV broadcast centre (I AssUMe Indonesia has those).
But no idea how they actually did it.
I very much enjoyed your Fast Show "Jazz Club" impressions - "Jaahzz"😆
    Best Wishes, Chaps. ☮
