- This is my first time doing my own plastisol ink heat transfers. Turned out really good! Sorry for my dog barking in the background.
Go follow my IG for more videos and pictures of my work. I do a lot of shorter clips on my page!

Thanks for watching!
First try 👏🏻. When it comes to curing them, you're looking for the sweet spot between under cured and fully cured, which usually happens around 280°-300° depending on the plastisol you're using. Unless it's a low cure ink then of course go lower down to the 220°-240° range
Thank you, I may have been curing it to high. I was between 300 and 320. I'm using wilflex ink.
@@LoyalToThePress if it's the epic rio system you were mixing with, then ya you're way too high. That's a low cure ink that fully cures at 260°-280°. So you want to be going slightly less when it comes to printing the transfer
@@leestuart38 that's exactly what I'm using. Damn, that's good to know. I feel like a big dummy! At least I know now going forward! 🤦♀️ Thank you
@@leestuart38 Yep.... also try Union Ultrasoft Inks. Straight outta the bucket. As far as I can tell any plastisol ink can print transfers. Paper makes a huge difference though.
Great content!! I've never done heat transfers but i do want to. You made it look easy 😅
Good job. Greetings from Perú!
Cool, it's always a good feeling when something works out on the first try! The first time I tried plastisol neck tags I used too much heat. After the shirt was washed the cotton ripped apart at the neck tag.
I haven’t done the wash test yet, but it feels solid 🙂
Lol looks really good
I’ve decided to go this route and watching your video has me super excited!! Right now I’m making a list of all the product and prices, also any other info that will be helpful. Im so excited.
that's great to hear!
THX for sharing and GOOD job
Thank you !
I just got the supplies yesterday and look forward to trying it. I am using FN Ink which is a low cure I believe, but I have to use a flash dryer also; what Temps and time is best. Thanks for the help.
Super cool 😍
Quick question can you have it is on your heat press machine to hover the ink
Nice
Very cool! It's so great to see this process. I wasn't sure how it worked but will definitely think about this option! Do you know if it will work for most designs or is it meant to be for neck labels? Thanks for the video!
You can do this with any design 🤘🏻
@@LoyalToThePress Wow, amazing! I just got my first press and think this could be a cool thing to try. Thanks for showing the video and the steps you took.
Hi there are you making transfers for sale also ?Thanks
Look good for your first try
Thank you !
What type of Paper is she using?..
Ace screen supply. Ultra strip 4000. Best paper on the planet. Been printing transfers for bout 5 yrs now. On the 1 color transfers no need to pre-heat. Just. Bangem out. Vacuum table would be a great addition. Started off just like this. Also on your heat press..... That looked like way to much pressure. Great job.... My 1st try turned out.... Not so good. Took me like a week or so to get it to even come out. I can now print 100 to 150 pcs an hour. Depends on paper size and amount of colors and so on.
One thing that I forgot to mention was the Adhesive powder. There is a larger size from Ace Screen Supply. Gives more if a grip on the shirt in my humble opinion. Called Adhesive Crystals. They break it down into micron size.....which i can never remember. The powder you are using can actually be mixed into the ink and printed through a lower mesh 110. Good luck!
@@Dtag1971 Do u teach a class? U no alot
@@tmcbryde1 No.... Just an old air brush artists.
Do you have links for the supplies? I have the setup and a few inks, just no powder or paper.
What are all the supplies you used and where can I get them
