:Used to live in Leigh on Sea just down the road in the seventies. Never knew this was there. I left late mid nineties, so the railway ought to have been going by then.
Used to take the kids to Waterside pools back in the late 90's and would visit the railway sometimes on a Sunday morning. I and my family live in NZ and my son brought up the subject a couple of days ago ( he would have only been 4 or 5 at the time) but obviously made quite an impact on him!
