FAYA
A kaleidoscope of music
FAYA is a versatile band with an authentic and fascinating stage performance. Originally from Italy and Germany, the three musicians, Elena, Chiara and Kristina, met in 2018 in Lisbon. After working together for only one year, FAYA won the Creole Global Music Contest in Berlin, September 2019: “This band showed a varied playing style, high musicality, original instrumentation, beautiful communication with the audience, lively performance and great joy in playing. ”
FAYAs music is a unique fusion of Latin American, African and European soundscapes, reflecting their respective roots and the insatiable curiosity for other musical cultures. They are currently working on their first album and a new production with Mosaicollective (www.mosaicollective.com), an interdisciplinary concert format with dance and live illustration.
