could you share your wash routine? i want to start using aloe vera gel for retwists but im so scared of build up. also, how long do your retwists last? i work out a lot so mine last like a week and i want to improve that
Yes! I like to use a clarifying shampoo. I dry a bit with a microfibre towel, moisturize, then let my hair air dry. For retwist longevity, I’m not too sure, I think it probably depends for everybody. My scalp gets irritated quickly so I can’t stretch the retwist too long lol! My retwists stay fresh for about a week too! After one wash they still hold on a little bit but with the roots back to their natural state.
