@Tanjirou the akasha wasn’t linked to immerensoul, or else they’d have all the knowledge of tevat. It was being powered by the dendro gnosis, and information that researchers got from the immerensoul was stored in it. I could be remembering wrong though

The Akasha is powered by the Gnosis and the Akasha can’t function without knowledge, which is provided by Irminsul. The harbinger were able to hack the system because they were all connected, which created a way that basically *was always there.* It’s easier to hack into a hard drive in a language you understand compared to a hard drive in a language only one family in all teyvat can understand. While I’m sure they’ll find a way, I honestly don’t think Yelan’s that stupid to keep saving intel into the device, knowing she lost it to the Fatui.

At least read the yelan story... Only yelans family and ones versed in that type of magic can decipher the encoded messages, its not a phone so it isnt always transmitting, and finally, it works in pairs of two, you need 2 to send a message, and the receiver needs two too, not one each

There's also the possibility that the other bracelet was given to someone she works with and was close to her (since it's unlikely she would keep both bracelets that can communicate with each other on her own self), and the friend died, bracelet stolen, then she turned this around to spy on the fatui as you said. The friend might have been undercover, and we can get an Infernal Affairs type plot.

If we link this to a video made by another theorist that says Capitano is the Yaksha Menogius, then this is possible. It was the Yaksha that taught humans the art of exorcism, including the Thaumaturgy used by Chongyun's clan which is also what powers Yelan's bracelet. So while she may have lost the other communication bracelet to the fatui, it may not be Regtator listening in, but rather Capitano.

I thought the lore states the other half was destroyed. I could be misremembering, but if that's the case then she has nothing to worry about. Even if it wasn't destroyed only Yelan and her family know how to properly use it. So to the fatui it's a useless bracelet cause they can't activate it or use it at all.
If I remember correctly, the coat is not the original coat she threw the original away and had the one she's wearing now made to be similar. Also, I don't think Yelan would keep using something regrator would use to spy on her she's a genius mastermind spy

Theory: Regrator was Yelan’s-ex.
Since it’s an heirloom and there are two it should be handed down to the heir and their partner. Then recent complications of gnosis greedery and fatui actions lead to the regrator keeping it (also it’s a precious artifact who wouldnt)
