This vedio reminds me of one of my friend. Initially when our session at college began, she was very feminine. She behaved like how normal girls do. As time passed by, she started behaving in a masculine way. She also told us that she was a tomboy and was brought up like a boy when she was young. She feels more comfortable in that. As time passes by, she mostly wear sneakers over heels and t shirt, jeans and jogger over salwar and skirt. Despite all that she is still my best friend.
I have been brought up like boy so even though my sexual attraction is towards boy (means I am a straight girl) but my dressing sense and nature and behaviour is more like boys....I like girls clothing when other girls wear them but I can't wear them myself...even the Jeans I wear are nevet with flowers or any cute designs (that just doesn't feel like me)....I didn't feel like I am raised differently till almost 9th std and when I asked my mom she told me that her intention was always just to make me believe that I am up to the same level of a boy so she kinda made everything (toys,clothes,hairstyle,freedom of choice) like a boy
I have never understood what constitutes "normal". I find my LGBTQ friends and family members to be normal. Heck, I just had my niece tell me that when she decides to date it will be a girl. I didn't know she was watching me closely to see my reaction but all I did was say "sweet, introduce me when you do" no change in me, my tone, or the way I was acting. She cried and laughed. I don't see an issue with a person's sexual identity or gender identity, it's all normal to me.
That is sweet! I just think that there is no "normal" way to behave like a girl. It's just what you know and have seen from girls growing up. I'm not saying you meant anything by it. It's just that when you say something is normal, there is the suggestion that anything outside of that is not normal. And that can hurt people. For example instead of normal I try to say "then what I am used to". I think it's more accurate :) maybe ask your friend what she thinks?

I think because she's literally helping us to embrace and be our true selves. Most people thought that its weird or being gender fluid is dumb but when i first watched this I somehow felt better about myself and I really love her for that. She reminded me that its ok to be who you really are.

I remember when I was really young and I watched this video and I got so obsessed with her, at the time all I knew was 'being gay is wrong'( I come from a very homophobic country and being gay is illegal) I was confused why I was obsessed with her, why everytime I saw her on screen I got a permanent smile on my face. I ignored those feelings since I didn't understand them at time and then quarantine came and I had a lot of free time and I spent most of it browsing the internet and learnt a bunch of new things and found out I was pansexual.
