7:15 "Sorry, so where does the 'cheap as chimps' element come in? Aren't you supposed to shout 'it's cheap as chimps' in the end?" "Well, it isn't, that's why I wanna' finish the feature!" HAHAHAHA!! Karl is the ultimate genius of unintentional comedy
I always say that 15 Tawain is easily the worst idea. It would barely, and I mean barely, work as a TV show where the audience could actually see all 15 items, but to do it on the radio where they would have to describe each item one by one to the listeners? That's insanely terrible.
Ricky and steve are two of uks best comedians over the years and are so brainy and witty yet karl without even trying manages to steal the show everytime 🤣🤣
@@MrElephantBeach Even though it didn't get used, I always thought "15 Taiwan" was the worst feature idea that Karl came up with, with "The Rice Is Right" up there as well.
I was glad to see it go after the 2nd installment, it was awful, and every time I re-listen to the shows and hear the two episodes with this "feature", I always think "thank fuck Karl got rid of it". Karl's reasoning behind it is annoying, "in case there isn't any monkey news", i.e in case he didn't find anything on "the internet", aka Annanova or Fortean Times, or a listener hadn't emailed in a story. Make sure you subscribe, I'll be continuing with uploading clips and moments from the show. If you have any bits you want to see then let me know!
@@lauriecook2399 concept was pretty funny in my opinion, predictions on how cheap or expensive monkey related services/items are. Plus Karl saying cheap as chimps after everything is so funny.
There's nowhere to go with this feature lol it's hilarious that Karl thought this could be a weekly feature. How much does a chimp cost? $1000. The end. Shout cheap as chimps lol. That's it. And to Karl that is perfectly acceptable
@@comebackqing8452 but you’re missing out the valuable criticism from Ricky and Steve as part of this gesture. Imagine he came back every week with even more random obscure monkey facts he’s put a price on.

That's definitely the best bit!
The way Karl says cheap as chimps at around 40 sec mark 😂😂. Already brilliant ..

"Cheap as chimps"
"What??"
That part always gets me! haha!
So its pretty cheap to have a chimp lol
Has to be the worst concept Karl has pitched and actually ran with.
well, we’ll see what you come in with next week - at 5 to 1
Let’s see @camomile4932 do their own little concept. Sick of it.
15 Taiwan was worse
Ricktuals. Educating Ricky only specifically about rituals and the one time Karl actually finished it it wasn't even about a ritual.
Big Mother, right … ya call in … if your mam’s heavy you win a cd
Right at the start “awwwhhhh Steve”
He’s so proud of it bless him
Dont forget this pathetic excuse for a segment led to karl complaining dozens of times that Donal McIntyre was stealing his ideas
Donal "The Thief" Mcintyre
@@ohoto3896 Takes takes takes
@@Pebble_Collector destroyed a man
Until the day I die, I'll never understand what Karl was thinking with this feature
Don't forget this is also coming from the creator of '15 taiwon' and 'big mother'
@@giles4565 “this game called big momma, if you call up and your mams ‘eavy you win a prize”
Steve really was dead on, Karl liked the title and that was about enough for him
It’s the worst idea miraculously producing absolute gold.
The worst feature since The Rice is Right

The Price is Ricky?
Big Mother, people call in and if your mam's heavy, you win a CD.

"Getting angry! Getting angry."
:)
"I don't want to give it a plug".
I love the idea of a compilation of something where’s there’s only two of them
Why isn't this 2 hours long. Forgotten gem.

If anyone knows of a more nonsensical and more poorly executed feature - from any broadcast medium - than this, please let me know.
Lmao
Ricktuals might have been even worse. “It’s good to have a flat head in India.”

Right. I'm on your side now, Steve.

Steve's sarcasm 🤣
