I feel like its completely different for the tier of players there are like you can be really good at ranked and beat everyone you come up against and practice with other people that are good at ranked but the gap from just ranked to tournament play and practicing with someone that also plays tournaments will naturally be better and make you a better player and unfortunately not everyone has that connection
