- Can I beat Pokémon Alpha Sapphire using ONLY Shiny Random Pokemon AND every battle is a Double Battle with hardcore nuzlocke rules? This means no items, no overleveling, and I always play on set mode along with the other standard Nuzlocke rules.

Edit: mega mewtwo x is better with huge power is much better then slaking.

This randomizer was the most busted run I've ever seen. I couldn't pick a favorite combo if I wanted to. So many favorites with perfect natures and nasty abilities. Wow
I got some really lucky Pokemon in this one. I'm sad Delibird didn't get to do more haha
for that ability question all I can think of is huge power on slacking - that would be bananas.

QOTD: I'm gonna say Speed Boost being put on Mega Garcomp, since Speed is something it needs work on in both base form(why does it not get Dragon Dance?) and Mega(why did it lose 10 Speed?) .Pure Power Tinkaton, Drought Volcarona, and Adaptability Metagross are all close contenders though.
Bit of info for if you ever get a Feebas in a later video: Feebas evolves with either level up + high Beauty stat or trade while holding a Prism Scale.
About Slaking with huge power?
@@tinyllama6782 TLDR: I like Slaking, but that seems too powerful for playthroughs, which is my main criteria for choices.
While I do like Slaking - I started Pokémon with Sapphire, so I have Hoenn bias - I don't think doing so would be reasonable for most playthroughs, which is what I based my choices on since I'm not a competetive battler. Tinkaton doesn't have all that high of an Attack stat so Pure Power/Huge Power is fine especially if done as the Hidden Ability, Drought is mainly picked as a good ability that also fits Volcarona's lore, Adaptability seems like something that Metagross could reasonably have and would be a better Hidden Ability than Light Metal, Speed Boost on the Mega would counter the Speed stat loss and isn't all too bad given that 1: we have a fair few Pokémon that could still beat Mega Garchomp and 2: Megas aren't in the game anymore. Huge Power on Slaking would be extremely overpowered to the point of not being fun - in my opinion at least - since it already has stats equivalent to Legendaries. I'm fine with it havung Truant because it both fits the origin/concept that Slaking has and works well in terms of game balance. Given how early you can get a member of the Slaking line in some games, it just wouldn't be viable for any official game. Note the "official" in that, since most people who play a fangame or rom hack are people who have played Pokémon for a long times so I find it perfectly fine in said fan-made media. Regigigas, a Pokémon with a similar ability situation to Slaking, needs something better than the official Slow Start but I hadn't listed it since 1: it isn't all that high on my favorites list and 2: it doesn't get used often in playthroughs since it's a Legendary. I'd personally change Slow Start to only have the reduction effect last 3 turns and then give the equivalent of a +1 in both Attack and Speed for 1 turn.

I thought about what you said about noivern with contrary and Draco meteor. That does sound amazing combo along with if you slap a choice specs. It will definitely be hitting hard
It would be so good! I think Noivern is already a pretty solid dragon, but if it had anyway to increase it's special attack it could be busted.
@@invividcolor if you also put toxtricity’s special ability that boots any sound based attack by 50% (I believe it’s by that amount I may be wrong but it’s something like that) along with the choice specs, along with Tera normal and boomburst. The only 2 checks it will have is Pokémon with soundproof and ghost types but still it is cracked with that strat too

QOTD: Anything but levitate on Flygon. It’s a ground and dragon, there is no need to have it have levitate as it’s only ability
DO ball-locke!! It means u can only use 1 different ball for each encounter. Hardcore Nuzlocke rules too! When u finish all ur diffrent pokemonballs thats all your encountarable pokemon!

How do you boost shiny odds with citra?
Norman is notorious in randomizers if you have "similar strength" on since it gives him Pokemon with similar BST to Slaking, which tend to be legendaries.

I use citra and I have an HD textures plugin and I *think* I used a code to get rid of the black outlines. It's been so long since I set it up haha

the reason for the norman fight being op is because with randomized pokemon they are randomized to things with a similar bst so the slakings became OP legendaries

Always wild to me how powerhouses like Gengar and Dragonite have been here since the beginning.
Honestly, same. They're a few designs that have really stood the test of time.
I think the reason why Norman had two box art Legendaries and two Megas was because of how the randomizer works. Some randomizers randomize the Pokemon to one with a relatively similar BST, and Norman in ORAS has two Slakings. Slaking has the highest BST of any non-Legendary Pokemon at 670, on par with box art Legendaries like, you guessed it, Kyogre and Palkia, and higher than even some Megas, like, you also guessed it, Mega Swampert and Mega Lucario. It also explains why his last two Pokemon were Shelgon and Wartortle - they were randomized off of Norman's sole Vigoroth.
EDIT: Also at the end there I noticed that Darmanitan had Early Bird and not Pure Power like it had as Darumaka. That's another quirk with randomizers, since randomizing the ability will change the Pokemon's ability if it did so normally. Not really that big of a deal since you didn't bring it into the E4, but I just thought it was funny considering how much you were gushing about Pure Power Darmanitan 😂😂😂😂😂

Calyrex Ice Rider with Calyrex having Speed Boost and Glastrier with its own ability. Set up Psychic Terrain so that no Priority can touch it, and with only Glacial Lance and Stomping Tantrum. Ya boi can hit a lot of Mons for neutral Damage.

Haha, I mean I figured it out, but I never found a marvel scale or whatever the item is. I thought it was triggered by beauty like in gen 3, but since I randomized things that did not work. I just shorthanded all that for the script
@@invividcolor As long as you didn't randomize that to it is; you have to max out or near so beauty via poffins/poke blocks/the Gen 3 poke treat stuff.
