Te reo dream still alive for activists behind Māori Language Petition

The activists who led the historic 1972 Māori Language Petition are still fighting for te reo to be compulsory in schools nearly 50 years on.
It's a debate that continues to divide the political spectrum and a policy no government has been willing to adopt.
