What does the Collider sound like when it is running? Like does it rev at any point, slowly build up then BOOM! FULL POWER!?
The collisions happen in a vacuum, so there's no sound. The machinery can get quite loud though, mostly because of the cooling required.
@@ParticleClarait's in a vacuum because the index of refraction must equal to zero to get maximum velocity. There must be no refraction until after each collision.

Welcome to Holland and enjoy this beautiful city. But beware of pickpockets and thieves, who want to skim your credit or bankcard, because Amsterdam is also famous because of this kind of people. Maybe you can visit NEMO, the science museum , although is it mostly for children, it is maybe fun to see the scientific stuff, that is displayed there. There also is a bubble chamber, that mesmerized me in the Evoluon , a former science museum in Eindhoven.

I have incredible talents in advanced mathematics and physics, but I was picked by a cult who has harassed me all of my life. @@Axxe80 That's irrelevant to the point that I am trying to make. I certainly do believe that the physicists and CERN have very good intentions, and I am not calling them bad in any way. But, I am calling them talented. Very talented people. So talented, in fact, that, as a team, maybe I can spark something inside them that will motivate them to start working towards inventing a technology that can help to free all of us. But, at the same time, I want them to become aware of the fact that we are all dealing with ruthless evil forces that will go to any measures to rule over us and make things even worse in the future. I think that there is technology that can fix things and all us to have our dreams forever. I choose love over hate, but we must realize that the pure evil of hate does exist. Like the time when my friend's husband murdered her and her 8 month old unborn baby girl for insurance money. CERN is open to the public, but not all of it should be because there is real danger out there. I love brilliant scientists who are benevolent, and I hate it when they are deceived and destroyed by evil ones, and, in case you haven't guessed it, I'll tell you that, I, too, have a degree in science, and I am very skilled with mathematics.

You can! Look for CERN Open Data and we've uploaded a section of the data and tools to analyse it with. Eventually we'll be uploading more, but there is a delay to allow the scientists who work on the experiment to look at it first.

@@ParticleClara my point being, do you really think they’re going to tell you what it’s really for? All the big donors and people paying for it have anterior motives. You’re nothing more than a worker bee doing their bidding. You are bringing evil into this world and dismissing all skepticism. There are ulterior motives taking place behind the curtains that you’re not told about. You are messing with things that shouldn’t be messed with and are bringing us closer and closer to their plans.
Religious people blindly follow a belief with zero evidence to support it , but science has evidence and data to support its truth

Let's suppose that i am a modern day Jesus. Consider these two different types of being smart. In one case, you might have the criminal who knows how to commit horrible crimes without ever getting caught. Although that person might not know very much about physics, he/she is a genius at figuring out how to evade being discovered. On the other hand, there is the scientific genuis who is a master at using logic along with physics and mathematics to solve problems that the most people cannot solve. Well, we know the problem with the former, but what about the one with the latter? The latter is a genius too, but the problem with the latter, many times, is that of thinking that all people are intrinsically good. But, if that were true, then the former would not exist. However, we all know that they do. There are evil people who are geniuses at knowing how to manipulate people, and they are very dangerous. The scholar, many times, will forget that the former exists, and that is how powerful technology ends up being controlled by the wrong people! Vladimir Putin is a very good example of the former. Think Clara! No! Particle physics in itself is neither good or evil, but how it's used can go in either direction, and we need to guard against granting its power to the wrong one(s).
