Great work, and props for getting through it. It really was a bit of a slog. I also share your assessment of Foster here. Definitely screams Browder-like, or at least Browder-lite.

    Thanks for the reading 🙏

Intersting listen as always. I noticed how you describe Foster as going down the same rabbit hole as Earl Browder. I'd noticed that opportunist fuck Caleb Maupin fawning oelver Foster like some kind of messiah, so that correlated with your interpretation of him being more reofrmist and faux revolutionary. I mention Maupin because I heard him talking like this in the days before his mask slipped and I washed my hands of him completely. I did give him the benefit of the doubt for while but the mask of right opportunism soon slipped. This is further correlation of that.
Anyway great video once again, comrade! ✊✊

What I see of Foster is Earl Browder lite. It was no wonder Arnold Petersen called him "Flip flop Foster". I could not believe my eyes (I read along with the audio) that Foster was willing to work with capitalist and small capitalist as if they were buddies which included a list of a revisionist to do list. We can say for certainty that the CPUSA has found its way back to Browder.

Great reading Comrade. ✊ The readings from this playist (especially the ones from Foster) in this collection “Marxism-Leninism Vs Revisionism” was truly an eye-opener, not only of the extent of Earl Browder’s Right-Wing Revisionist turn (especially after the mid-late 1930s going into the 1940s and WWII) but also on just how the leaders of the reconstituted CPUSA really didn’t do much on actually trying to combat the actual Opportunist and Counter-Revolutionary positions and practices of Browderist Right-Wing Revisionism, especially in the case of Foster (which is, in my opinion and analysis, the most egregious and disappointing).
Some of what Foster wrote in his contribution to this collection, and especially a lot of his work after this, really wasn’t that much better.
What Foster practically did during the process of and after the expulsion of Browder was water-down most of the egregiously and overtly bad aspects of Browder’s Right-Wing Revisionism, whilst maintaining some of the most fundamental aspects of Browderism (like, for example, Class-Collaboration under the guise of “National-Unity,” Bourgeois American Nationalism/Patriotism, Tailism, advocating for a Peaceful Transition into Socialism, Reformism, as well as abandoning the Black-Belt Thesis -see his article “Left-Sectarianism in the Fight for Negro Rights and Against White-Chauvinism,” that was published in “Political Affairs” from 1953 and is available on his archive page at the Marxist Internet Archive-) and presenting all of that by slapping the label of “Anti-Revisionist Critique of Browder” on it.
All of this doesn’t begin to mention the fact that Foster would later go on to opportunistically critique and propagate the slanders against Stalin that was in-line with Khrushchev’s traitorous and fallacious “Secret Speech” of the 20th Congress of the CPSU (for example of this, quite literally read all or some of Foster’s articles from 1956 that feature Stalin’s name in the title, again they’re available at Foster’s Archive page at the Marxist Internet Archive).
Also, I kinda laughed at your brief pause where you read the passage at the 29:22 - 29:33 where Foster (who was possibly the one who authored this piece) practically came out in support of building the Settler-Colonial and Genocidal Ethno-Nationalist State of “Isnotreal” which was a position that Foster held at least as late as 1955 (see his 1955 article “Israel’s interests is with Anti-Imperialist Peoples” from the Daily Worker, again available at the Marxist Internet Archive).
With all of this being stated, it still boggles my mind that some American “Marxist-Leninists” (particularly the Crypto-Fascist Pat-“Socs,” Naz-“Bols,” and MAGA-“Coms” *Sarcastic Voice* Gee, I wonder why) still uphold him as an outstanding and principled Marxist-Leninist!
Well, that was mouthful and my apologies for writing as such, but I just thought I share that.
Take care, continue the great work, and Solidarity Comrade. ✊

Was the CPUSA always worse than useless?

It was spot on when Browder was an actual Marxist Leninist then the revisionism came forth and the CPUSA never recovered and today it is both worse and useless.

"Epical triumph of the defeat of fascism in europe was brought about by the anglo-soviet-american coalition" quite the distortion in the opening line. Don't count them chickens, eh? This guy talks out of both sides of his mouth. Very not good. Thanks anyway S4A.
