*Since Wallace is actually represented as champion class at the world tournament, that would mean that steven retired the league and become a simple trainer. In Pokemon Emerald, Steven got the Rival theme and not the champion theme so, at the tribute in Emerald, I'ved decided to make and edit the champion theme to make it as we challenge him in Emerald with his rival theme music. The rival music is actually really implemented in the game. I've got a ton of things and project but I need to finish all the Pokemon game first to make these project/dream come true.

For the moment this one will be my last video. Now I will maybe posting 2~3 video per week simply because
1 : I will be continuing working on a lot of project.
2 : I will be little more available on my 2nd channel Working on Hoenn Battle 8Bit.
One day it will be possible for me to be a lot more available for a long time. It will be quite some good video but to make things like this happenned, I need to continue working on my project that I'm working since september.
What will happen for the moment (2~3 video per week?): I will be working on some relaxing music, like route, town, city, encounter, etc, etc..
At the same time, I will be posting some of my 8bit battle but this time with only percussion.
And maybe some battle hacking stuff. We have time so thanks for the support! I truly need it x)

I actually like the graphics here more compared to what it is now. I wish they could've just improved the graphics from B2W2 for the later games instead of heading the 3D type of style. Or at least they could've went 3D in a more later date

I really like how in the Pokèmon games universe, Red is considered the best.

(To be honest, canonically, ORAS Brendan/May should be since they have both a mega Latios/latias and a mega rayquaza. It’s never acknowledged though)
@@SmashingPichu i mean, red was canonically the player, and is known to have completed the kanto pokedex, and also have 16 medals, so while leon is easily one of the stronges characters (Lorewise), red (or most probably Gold) is the most powerfull

In the game he probably is. Maybe gameplay wise another champion's team could beat him but that's just beacuse the game interface Is very basic so it's prone to many semplifications compared to the possibilities of potential real battles. In that sense I'd make the case that levels are a good indicator of potential strenght because they symbolize experience, and Red has the highest levels in all the franchise. He's also the only playable character that you can find as an NPC though so there's the matter of considering other playable characters' journeys canon or not because technically you're supposed to beat him as Brendan but the guy never returned as a champion in later games

His HGSS team’s level average is 83, just two levels above Iris, which then his got increased to 85 in the Lets go games. Cynthia’s was 75 in platinum, 76 in B2W2, and then 86 in BDSP, shooting past Steven [77], Iris [81], and Red [85].
(There’s also Leon, Mustard, and Diantha between Steve and Iris but those bozos don’t know how to carry a full team of 6)

Well, it was maybe the most hated generation when released. I remember nearly 80% of my friends hated this generation but it aged very very well to the point that today is maybe the best pokemon ever.
This post-game Is the only reason I buy White 2, yeah a lot of characters, battles and battle themes in one game, epic.

I don't understand why the game has received so little attention. It was the last Pokemon game where still had a bit of difficulty, I don't like the new parts because they are just too easy. And this tournament is really fun. And the beautiful pixel graphic, just beautiful

I feel like the no Megas universe is a poor excuse when GameFreak basically dropped the gimmick altogether. The only thing it seems to have been good for is allowing for poorer writing.

I like how you describe every other guys in the time stamp as “ Champion” but for Red he is simply the “Legend Red”.
Hell yeah, after all these years, after like generations of new Pokémon games, he is still the og.
I like the fact that he is able to intimidate us with all those same basic Pokemons. Pikachu, Lapras, Charizard..... Most of his Pokémon have been considered “vintage” or even outdated in today’s standard, but we all know it’s not about his Pokémon that make him scary.
If you’ve played the original Red/Blue version, you will get what I am saying. it just feels so unreal everytime when you have to fight against him because he was us, he is the one that introduced us to the Pokémon universe. We fought alongside with him with those Pokémon you used to have 20 years ago. He basically eliminated the Team Rocket by his own self. It’s the bond between him and his Pokémon that made his battle so unique and intense.
It’s like battling your own self from the past. That’s the reason why he is the strongest trainer.
Hell yeah. Everything you said is exactly how I feel about the character but couldn’t put into words. He is to me the perfect Pokémon trainer.

The legendary game Pokemon Black and White/Black 2 and White 2. I just LOVE their sprites in those games. Oh and I love the classic cries aswell. But I just ABSOLUTELY LOVE Raichu's classic cry, it really stood out to me. The same goes with Dragonite's and Rayquaza's classic cry.
Doge user the newer games botched the graphics and sound. The models all look soulless and almost never emote and the Pokèmon cries are just wrong. Archeops got it the worst, though.

I made that mistake with my lucario in this game. I saw that my lucario a special attack was far greater than its physical attack so I was running psychic, aura sphere, swords dance, and dragon pulse all of which are obviously special moves rendering swords dance completely useless. Thus my quest for a good replacement began! I can’t remember what I eventually replaced it with, I’ll have to go back and look sometime. ( the dragon pulse was because I was trying to prepare for drayden and iris at the time)

I used an Adamant Gyarados, Adamant Metagross & Adamant Haxorus and still almost lost. What threw me for a loop is when he sent out Archeops 😂. Thankfully I carry an Air Balloon on my Metagross and when I used Bullet Punch, it had a sitrus berry to put it back in the green 🤦🏾♂️

It was hard for me, until the moment when I got the shiny garchomp and EV trained the fuck out of it. With sandstorm + bright powder it is very likely that you can sub up and SD, since you’re faster than most things in this gen. Then proceed to wipe their entire team with the combination of outrage and Earthquake, since there are no actual mons in PWT who can survive those
You can also use a pseudo-legendary sandstorm team i used tyranitar for sandstorm with crunch earthquake dragon dance and rock slide with muscle band garchomp with outrage crunch earthquake and Stone Edge with choice scarf to destroy Pokémon it's super effective to and a metagros with earthquake zen headbutt bullet punch and Meteor mash with life orb to faint anything that it survived and with a bit of luck you should be Able to win thé tournament i hope this helps
Tyranitar plus exactdrill. And maybe throw in cloyster with sash as a lead doesn’t even need good ivs just sand rush and skill link on the mole and shellfish respectively. Super easy

Funny enough they were meant to be in there! Dialogue still exists for them, but in canon wise they're off searching for N (You'd think N would have an Xtransciever but nope)
It would have been nice if after beating the game / + beating N and receiving Zekrom / Reshiram you would be able to fight the original protagonist, and if you did memory link, they would use the team last used to beat the Elite 4 or something!

I've never been a strategic player in pokemon. I only rely on type match-ups and level difference, so I always have my ass handed to me when it comes to certain battles that adjusts your pokemon's levels (pwt, battlefrontier, trainer tower, etc.)
B2W2 was perfect even for that because it had the black tower/white treehollow to challenge your power game putting you against legendaries in the mid 70s

I recently won the champion's tournament in my white 2, with my team of Kingdra (Timid, Choice Specs, 252 sp.atk, 4 sp.def, 252 speed) Metagross (Adamant, Leftovers, 144 HP, 252 atk, 92 speed) and Volcarona (Modest, Life Orb, 4 HP, 252 sp.atk, 252 speed) and it was quite a surreal feeling because it was my first time getting to the finals and I won it, my winning tournament was first against Wallace, then Red, then Alder
I think I got you beat 😂 my team was Gyarados (Adamant, life orb), Metagross (Adamant, Air Balloon) and Haxorus (Adamant, Focus Fash). This team literally claps in the champion league. The only ones I have a little problem with are Blue and Alder 😂
12 year old me who didn’t know about EV training clapped this tournament dozens of times with Salamence, Metagross and Dragonite.
This brings back so many memories. Thing is however I always did Triple battles because it just doesn't feel right unless I'm fighting their full team instead of 2 1/2 mons randomly generated from a pool of 6. (it's 2 1/2 because they'll always lead with their ace which I always thought was a nice touch)

Joseph red is the easiest followed by Wallace. Then lance steven blue and Cynthia has best team. Lance and Steven while their mons pose a threat unlike Wallace and red who have a whole bunch of trash they are still mono type teams so they shouldn’t be an issue if you are prepared properly. Blue makes way better mon choices then red and actually has a threatening team even if both are limited to gen 1. And Cynthia learned to stop leading with spiritomb so she can’t be setup swept and in pwt leads with sash garchomp ( which you technically can set up a shell smash cloyster with skill link on then spear but that’s one mon you could of chose out of many) which provides an immediate threat.
All of these 3 trainers are actually quite easy..Steven and maybe Lance would have given you problem
Na Min Se Noiazei Poios Eimai nah lance and Steven aren’t that hard due to being mono type. Sash garchomp is the most threatening ace too. Most the time you are gonna lose at least one mon to it then have to bring in a priority user. Unless you use cloyster or maybe multiscale dragonite as your ace.

Yeah, i agree Battle Tree fits better with Alola, and this was a pixel game, SM/USUM it's not. Imagine the work of 3D model, rig, animate EVERY single champion and gym leader now. 7 generations, like 54 or more new models(from gen 1 to 6) with all their animations to appear behind their Pokémon, just think about it... It's not the same as then.
In BW2 were like: just create the mini, so draw 5 frames walking in pixels and other 5 for the introduction in the battle. (Well... i was thinking about it and I realised that they got most of those sprites from DPP and HGSS so... Even less work.)
