I could be wrong, but it looks like the blade got pinched on the electric saw. I think the blade likely got pinched on the gas, but it had enough power to ignore it.

For electric saws let the saw do the work don’t force it.

Sure,I want to get another year older waiting for it to cut thru a 12" log when I could cut and stack the whole tree in that same amount of time using my Husqy.

I don't get it... Have you ever used a chainsaw before? How could you not recognize how dull of a chain you've got on the Greenworks? And the fact that the battery is dead... Not sure how you didn't even know what the beeps meant. It's like not recognizing when a gas saw is running out of gas lol.
The 80v Greenworks definitely performs at least as well as that model of Stihl. This is obviously just some sort of attempt to set up a narrative of "electric bad", for whatever reason ..

BS on everything you claim of the performance of those electrics. If you are an arborist you won't be up a 150' tree with that pos.

67k views and 12 comments?? The newer Greenworks saws are pretty strong for a battery chainsaw. Gas is king though.

It looks like the Milwaukee outperforms that. I was wondering because someone I know just bought a Greenworks Pro like that and it looked heavier duty than my Milwaukee. Thanks for the video!

Perhaps look up the Top 10 Ten electric chainsaw review. Each saw has its Good and bad aspects(even Stihl), but the Greenworks did out perform the Milwaukee.
This kid had a Dead battery and a dull chain on the Greenworks.

Yeah, I have the 80v Greenworks, and it's definitely a better performer than what we seen here, I'm guessing the chain is dull and it even looks a little loose. I've ran it against the Milwaukee before and the M18 is a faster cutting saw, but it also has a smaller .043 chain, and uses the better 21700 cells in the HO batteries. The 80v does beat the M18 however in torque. It's relatively easy to stall out the M18, but takes quite a bit to stall out an 80v GW. The M18 was only better if you used the HO batteries. If you used an older 5ah with the 18650 cells in it, the 80v wins everytime.
