Great tutorials, I'll be watching these again once I get mine, but I have a couple questions. Is there much of a dif between the 1000 and the 2000, or just preference? And does the 2000 have the ability to get the latest JJos updates after 2015?

Huge difference. 1000 is a lot faster. And no JJOS is only a 1000/2500 thing

Hey what do i use to record my sampled with like can i just hook up an mpc to my computer and play a sample or do i have to use my turntable to record it

You can record anything with an audio output, just need to have a connection to 1/4 for the MPC. You can measure the bpm of the sample and set the project at that speed, or not - there's no answer
