    Great improvement Anthony and I'm still very happy with my Hexbeam.
    Worked VP8PJ in 3 modes on 17 Meters.

    Hi Anthony, will the baseplate connect directly to a scaffold pole negating the need for the stub mast. It is a standard 2" aluminium scaffold pole.

    will it fit on a 2 in mast as is common in us?

    Interesting. The feed system is not isolated from the mast. One side is common with the mast. Would you connect one side of your dipole to the mast? If not, then why would you do this with your Hexbeam driven element?

    looks quite massive, how much does it weight complete hexbeam

      Base plate is 30cm x 30cm. Whole unit is approx 13KG
