Iam trying to design to get 3,000 to 5,000 rpm if possible of a car tire. The belive the tire spin just barely 2,000 at 60 mph. Beside the mechanical of doing this, aside. Could you estimate for a belt system how many pulley & belt needed and for gears what type system and how many gears would be needed for both to have a very 5-6 yr maintenance free setup.
This is your experience from a book technical for a general round abouts heading my mind set of designing it
the correct way. Thank you.

My guess I need around a 1-16 ratio to get that over drive. And would that 1-16 be rpm capped. Or limited? What highest rpm belt & gear or etc. is possible?
