I cant get tired of watching this song. First: look at his expression from start to 14 second when he is playing the intro riff. Second: his great performance and clearly sung English. Third: his good intention to isolate the bassist at the end to introduce him to the crowd. Bassist usually get lost in the mix unless one pay close attention to the tune. Fourthly: if this tune doesn't make your body move, or at least your hand , then you gotta be a music Grinch. Lastly RIP
Hola Aluchi Del Pasado, buena tarde. Me podrías decir el nombre del excelente BAJISTA en ésta canción? Hi Aluchi. Can you give me the name of excellent BASSIST? Thanks so much. Gracias. Saludos.
He was, without a doubt THE master showman- blues ambassador, storyteller, with an incredible band that was clearly playing each instrument infused with so much joy and verve- the narrative of this song, and the way the riff keeps coming back in at the right time. So authentic, such a pure force of spirit
Man, am I glad I've seen him live 3 times. Once in Montreux in the 80s, very small venue with guest stars Etta James and Queen guitarist Brian May. Haha, and Brian May's solo too was stopped with the famous finger circling in the air. Even a man of the stature of Brian May was only a little boy on B.B.'s stage.
Thank you BB for all the material you gave to this world and music. Thank you Mr. Russell Jackson too, for your contribution to the electric Fender bass.
I have listen to the King from the cradle To being a senior. That explains why I am still on my Feet. God gave you A talent thank you For sharing . 👏👏 Bpj
This is probably one one of the finest live examples of this track out there.. maybe the the very best! (as is the live at nicks version of The Thrill is gone) I am big fan of BB and have every one of his albums, but coming onto youtube is one of my greatest pleasures in life. If i could make just one wish, i would not have been born in 1983, maybe 20 years or so earlier so i could have been at this gig live!! Love ya BB!!
That band is right there with him I think they got it together I use to love to see him in Savannah Georgia I was friends with his road manager aunt and that was a free show and. Back stage pass
apart from everything else that is brilliant here, as a Brit, I love the idea of the Queen driving through London early one morning after a party and getting BB's advice.
Hi Mate, Thanks for uploading this song.... Nice one ....!!! Time is going on and on , BB is , was and will be time, and he has the the words to make and the words to be ...Long Live BB... he is a real Blues man...!!.. he is the part of this Earth, he is part of the worlds energy... he is>>>>

Lyrics
I've been around and I've seen some things
People moving faster than the speed of sound
Faster than the speeding bullet
People living like Superman
All day and all night
And I won't say if it's wrong or if it's right
I'm pretty fast myself
But I do have some advice to pass along
Along in the chorus of this song
Better not look down
If you want to keep on flying
Put the hammer down
Keep it full speed ahead
Better not look back
Or you might just wind up crying
You can keep it moving
If you don't look down
An old girl friend of mine showed up the other day
That girl have lived in love and for love
And over love, and under love all her life
If the arrows from cupid's bow that had
Passed through her heart had been sticking
Out of her body she would have looked like
A porcupine, and she asked me
B.B. do you think I've lived my life all wrong?
And I said: The only advice I have to pass
Along in the chorus of this song
Girl
Better not look down
If you want to keep on flying
Put the hammer down
Keep it full speed ahead
Better not look back
Or you might just wind up crying
You can keep it moving
If you don't look down
I was walking down the street at sunrise one morning
In London, England
And there was a very large Rolls Royce Limousine
Pulling slowly along the street
And in that Rolls Royce was the Queen of England
Looking tired
Just go back from a party, and the Queen leaned out and
She said: Aren't you B.B. King? She said:
Oh B.B., sometimes it's so hard to pull things together
Could you tell me what you think I ought to do?
And I said:
Better not look down
If you want to keep on flying
Put the hammer down
Keep it full speed ahead
Better not look back
Or you might just wind up crying
You can keep it moving
If you don't look down
Excellent
