Animating in Mental Canvas with Procreate Practice

This is my practice on animating in 3D environment. I know this is also possible in blender that is free, but I don’t have a good enough computer for it to work. It was a lot of fun to make and I’ll be doing more of these in the future.

Hey could you explain please how did you export the back ground from mental canvas to Procreate ? Did you just made a sequence took frame by frame or is a better way ? thank you that animation was really inspiring

Sorry that I haven’t replied, I don’t usually check my account much. It’s kinda difficult to explain but in mental canvas I sped up the camera movement transition at 0.5s. So in the end, I had a video from mental canvas that is only 0.5s long. I just added the video to procreate so I get the minimum of frames to work with. Changing the frame to 10 frames per second in procreate should give you the animated look for a background.

@@notglitcher4227 did u draw directly on the on the layers? I’ve imported the video but I can’t use onion frames because the entire screen is green

@@AlexanderTheArt I didn’t use the onion tool much so sadly I don’t think it can be used. However you don’t have to draw on the layer of the background. You can create a group layer so you’ll still be able to draw and erase on individual frames of the animation.

Some advice, i recommend adding background music and geting a movable stand so the viewer can see the drawing a bit better

How have you changed the frame rate to go to 24 frames per second? It only leaves me at least 0.5 seconds each frame
