Most of the times anime adaptation misses a lot of interesting details from their original novels or manga. As some of those details can be crucial for the side or the main character development So that's why In this video I have put some of the details that anime didn't put in their overlord series

PDL isn't wrong tho, he was fighting with actual NPC
Plus in fact the anime didn't missed this because we actually the scene where PDL is thinking about it, speaking with the other guy with the power armor.
He also won, albedo just happened to save pandoras actor there
@@robertsiems3808 nope, PA was just holding back to gain information and PA can fool PDL cuz now he thinks that ainz is weaker than albedo or shaltear well ainz indeed weaker than shalltear but still it makes wrong information. Like ainz said in S1 that wrong information can lead to fatal mistakes in battle like formation, ability ratio, balance in class, and also information about enemys, how to beat them, how to broke their formation and balance etc.
PA is one of the strongest NPCs in Nazarick. In that fight PA acted to be only that strong to fool the enemy and hide Ainz real strength.
@@robertsiems3808 PA can easily defeat most floor guardians. People understimate PA too much even though his existence was a secret to most NPC(Until Ainz exposed his NPC) and being a guardian of Nazarick's treasure means he is terrifying powerful.
That last one is just heartwarming
I have a theory that Ainz created Pandora's Actor for the sole purpose of him turning into his friends so he can partly relive the joy he had when they were still active. I think he isolated the treasure room and did it alone cause it was his way of coping with his loneliness.
Wait, this is not confirmed?
I thought that it was explicitly wrote with this in mind. I mean Ainz feeling lonely about his guildmates leaving is an integral part of his character, and PA being a doppleganger emphasizes that.
@@kisegin5828 I don't think it was ever confirmed. I think the author left it there for the readers to find out.

@@joaquinromeroday7194 Wait, but it doesn't make sense, Ainz mentions Garnet when he said he likes cleanliness. Not to mention I believe it was Ulbert who recommended the name Pandora's Actor.
@@ironaston9858 im not sure what you mean, but i seem to vaguely recall, Ainz mentioning that when he was just playung alone after all his friends had left, he used Pandora's actor to feel less lonely, or something along those lines.
At least Arche got a happy ending in the web novel.

She was offered a peaceful life in the elf twins' floor with her sisters if she taught Ainz hoity toity stuff
Web novel isn't canon , even Maruyama create that. Is just foundation and now he is already building his own 💀, stop day dreaming about happy end for Arche , her head is cold on the floor and her two sister is a dying sex slave

From what I’ve read Arche ends up living in a cabin with her little sisters on the sixth floor of Nazarick as a reward for teaching Ainz imperial etiquette and how to dance.

They all die in the current light novel however.
@@Battleguild Ok then. Sorry, between web novel, light novel and how they decided to adapt it to the anime, it is kind of hard to keep tracks on all the possible outcomes.
Ainz doesn't mind superior and inferior games because he is so focused on a strategy to beat the shit out of his opponent and the next meeting will be the end of PDL.
Just a friendly reminder to anime-onlys, the overlord web novel series is non-canon. It basically amounts to being OG fanfic that the author (Mariyama) was writing and published online to an reader website before the series got an official publication. The light novel-i.e., official published book series-is the official canon that the Overlord anime and manga series is adapted from.
Arche survived in the web novel version only because the author (Mariyama) used to put gag votes to let his audience choose how certain events would end. They voted kinky s*x harem route for Arche, what Mariyama didn't like, but he did it anyway to honor the vote. Her fate in official light novel is just like the anime/Manga. Bonus fact that Mariyama proved, after Arche died, her parents sold off her little sisters to sl*ve traffickers to pay their debts. Soon after, the twins were worked to death and died from exhaustion (off-panel/off-screen).

@@diament1866 Ainz didn't know about any of that though. He (as Momon) gave the workers a chance to give them a good reason not to kill them, but the way the workers answered made it only seem like they cared about money for the sake of comfort/status.
Moreover, when Ainz later confronted Foresight in the tomb's Colosseum floor, they lied using a touchy subject (not that they'd have known that). So even if they tried to tell Ainz about her family, he'd reasonably have no reason to trust them.

She is too in the LN, no, she is in general, Peroroncino added every kink fetish he could think into her, one of the reasons she likes Ainz outside of her loyalty and any background is that she also goes into necrophilia, the amount of things she does with her vapire brides on a daily basis might even be kind of disturbing to some people, considering that they regenerate and all, so if you think Arche got off easily you might want to reconsider, the only being that Shalltear wants to be dominated by is Ainz, everyone else gets to be dominated into more than submission by her, so "Sex Toy" is exactly how it sounds, Arches original ego was crushed and she might as well be a sex beast with only pleasure for brain in Shalltear's chambers.
I heard that Arche's fate was decided by votes in the WN, the author wanted to brutally kill her but the majority wanted for her to live so the author kept her alive but make her the living pleasure thing of Shalltear, in the NL the author gets to decide and he might have still been salty that the cowards wanted her to live so she got to die with every single part of her body being distributed amongs different NPCs around Nazarick in the NL.
When I mean that Shalltear is kinky, I mean it, I believe that Scat might be too unrefined for her tastes and even for Peroroncino's tastes but Guro and stuff like that are perfectly Okay.
Arche though Ainz how to dance? Really? How did she survive that? Did Shaltear allow it?
It was on the web novel. Web novel story is different from the anime & light novels
PDL ain’t wrong, since Pandora can only copy 80% of a supreme beings power, he would actually be about on the same level or weaker than PDL. Let’s take General dragon lords as having a level of 60+, true dragon lords are around 80+, so if Ainz is about level 100 (yes , 105 technically due to xp overflow for spells, but adds no stats so it doesn’t count) and Pandora can copy about 80% of his power then Pandora would be roughly level 80 in the form of any supreme being such as Ainz. I believe PDL is level 85 according to Shalltear but that’s just his suit, the real PDL is probably level 90. Taking all of this into account, since Pandoras base form has pretty low attack power, his level 100 would be weaker than a supreme beings level 80, so he would have to fight at level 80. The only supreme beings who could best PDL in a fight as supreme beings would be pure damage beings such as Touch Me, Nishenrenkai, Lord Take, and maybe Tabula and Ulbert. Other than that, none of the supreme beings would be able to beat PDL in my opinion. So yes, Pandoras actor would lose to PDL if he didn’t pick those supreme beings, and since he was a level 80 Ainz, PDL was correct in his assumption, Pandora was weaker than him

The only thing I noticed in your insight is the assumption that the level curve in Overlord is linear. I'm not sure how the level curve in Overlord works though most RPGs require most EXP to level up in the higher levels so 80% of level 100 may akin more towards Level 90-92, using Pokemon's level curve as an example
This is very well said. I'm curious about weaponry. Since Pandora's Actor can't wield the supreme one's best weapons.
But PDL armor did have weakness against acid type attack don't he?
