A little thing I found for scorpion is with nick. With scorpion, if you charge your heavy then evade, you save your torment charges. With nick you have 3 evades. You can sometimes stack up to 60 torments on your first sp1.
Sometimes unpractical , but can allow you to easily throw 2 sp1 without worrying about some falling stings falling off.

I got lucky and pulled him as a 5* with the event Cav crystals, and quickly maxed him out, he’s easily doing 265k+ bursts and making the game a cakewalk, so happy to have pulled him, great video as always, in my opinion, you’ve become the forefront of mcoc when it comes to new character gameplay and in depth reviews, keep up the great work.
Just awakened my Scorpion. On my second viewing of this video. Really appreciate the champion showcases you create. AV will be my next R4 after EOP rewards. Your enthusiasm in this video is AWESOME!
Have him at r3. The damage and utility he brings is just too good and he's a decent defender (not the best but decent for Bgs for instance. Even better depending on the node). Not to mention the synergies.
Finishes rol fights in basically 60 secs for me (no suicides).
Already planned on him being my first science r4 but this video is even further persuading me to do so.
@@juanrestrepo13 These are some I can think of off my head at the moment
It's almost impossible to not take at least a blocked hit from scorpion's sp1 (if you don't take it to the face that is) so that makes him viable for Path 6 Node 38 in AW. He has a 50% chance per hit to place his sting debuffs on the opponent if his sp1 is blocked. Unless you're immune to the default sting debuff (poison), activating a special attack whilst you have his sting debuff on you deals some damage to you like how power stings work.
Main thing with him is to just get an evade counter and possibly poison immune champ. When he evades, he places his sting debuff on you and this evade is like elsa's (when he evades, he'll quickly dash in to counter you and you won't be able to escape the attack. If he lands mediums on you, that's more sting debuffs on you) The nodes that increase damage if the opponent has a debuff active could also be viable.
Kinetic transference nodes given it's hard to not block a hit from his sp1
His sp2 is very easy to dex so you could push him to sp2s only to avoid his sp1 into your block

That's bonkers bro. I always know what to expect from scorpion and yet, I'm always impressed by him. He has been my #1 most wanted champion since his release and I just can't seem to pull him from this featured crystal. Great showcase man

I said Scorpion is going to be the best science champion over 4 months ago is not really hard to distinguish who is a great champion if you know the meta of the game.
You said that scorpion without his debuff is useless but that's not even the case ! :O
If the ennemie purify debuffs or is immune to it, you can still go for a special 3 a gain a lot of fury buffs allowing you to gain even more damages
So even a debuff imune matchup is no counter to him !
thats good point but its the same as using Nick Fury against bleed immunes which I dont enjoy

Hey Mike, awesome work with the video. I love watching these massive showcases!
Just wanted to offer a quick thought, and of course I know people want different things from vids so if you disagree that’s fine! But personally when I watch these showcases I like to get a taste of champions as they are on the base. I’m not saying every champ is like this, but some can be transformed by a synergy team and made to look really good.
I focus on AW and Battlegrounds where I can’t bring synergies often, so I wondered if you could include a bit more non-synergy gameplay in these showcases. We all know the AV synergy for scorp is nuts and boosts his damage a lot, and I’d quite like to have seen what he can handle when you can’t bring AV with him!
Obviously you don’t just cater to me, so if you’d rather not then feel free to do whatever you’d like with your content, I just wanted to share some feedback as I see it :) great work again, congrats on the R4!

Great video. Feel the synergy should be the Agent Venom/Venom synergy. I’ve Venom and Scorp at r3. With an awakened Venom, the power gain is so much fun.
Granted Mike is choosing AV, not V so accurate here.
I don’t run ouchies and Venom is beyond amazing with Scorp. Can run Spidey99, Anti Venom, Knull. Get that save death mechanic. Spidey is amazing.
What I love about Scorp is he’s so much fun. And effective. Might be my third r4. Especially as Kabam publicly stated no tweaking.

galan is basically the same. he doesnt give as much debuffs but the burst damage has the same buildup and around the same damage.

Hey Mike I have a sig 200 spidey99 and unduped scorpion both at rank 3. Debating on who to take up to rank 4 next. Leaning towards spidey since he’s max sig but feel like he’s already solid at doing what I need him to do as a rank 3. Considering you have them both ranked up who do you feel needed the rank up more!!?
It really depends - they're honestly both sufficient for what they do at rank 3 - and are even more busted at rank 4 lol, so you can't go wrong.
I'd say Scorp has MUCH more damage potential - so Spidey could definitely enjoy the extra rank a bit more, especially if you use the Venom synergy for Scorp.

Love this, Mike! Just took up scorp to r4 myself! I’m having some trouble getting the heavy into special timing correct-keep getting smacked in the face. Any tips?
Pay attention at opponents feet, the second you see them running that’s when you drop your sp! Takes a bit of practice but I found that helping me the most
treat it like a parry, when u would normally parry just hit the special button instead
Also make sure to give yourself a lot of room before you heavy charge if you haven’t already. Helps to distinguish if they are charging or just walking forward

Love the champ!! Great utility, nice design and animations. When landing a special 1 or 2 while charging a heavy attack to get the added debuffs, shouldn’t we be able to parry, heavy, then cancel that heavy into a special for this to work? It seems you have to intercept the opponent to get the added debuffs, but nowhere in the description do I see that you must intercept with the special to get this added bonus.
Also, regarding prefight abilities, I can select both prefights but only get the benefit of one. If selecting both prefights shouldn’t scorpion inflict both shock and rupture? When selecting both he appears to only inflict 1 debuff rather than both. Is this intended? I don’t see anywhere in the description that you can only select and apply one of his prefight debuffs.
