Alcohol almost always tastes bad. And the feeling isn’t always pleasant, either. I know many people here in the States who choose not to drink. But while I don’t drink myself, I wouldn’t want to limit the ability of others to consume alcohol should they choose to do so. Different societies come to different arrangements as to how to restrict individuals’ range of choices in an effort to limit risk and potential negative consequences, both on an individual and societal level.. I guess there’s really no “right” or “wrong” way to do this, but, having been born and raised in the US, I am admittedly biased in favor of liberal constitutional democracies, but again, each society finds its own way of managing itself and guiding the behaviors of its own people.
Hi there🙋🌺 that was fantastically articulated, and of course you're right about alcohol taste and also governments controlling how much choice their people can have, which is very little here in Iran 🥺
Of course it doesn’t taste bad. Champagne is amazing. Good beer is great, and good wine wonderful, but not the first time. Some cocktails like Spritz is heaven. I understand the feeling of someone trying it for the first time

Perhaps something about the big mistakes in talking that we should'nt do with Iranians. Kheyli mamnun!
Well..... that's too generic, the 'western' way.... What I can guess is that much of it could be related to language differences and misunderstanding/mistranslation of words. Example: there was this famous Iranian singer who died recently. under a video related to him, An Iranian commented: 'he was a myth', i know what he meant was 'he was a legend', and the mistake was due to the fact that in Persian we use the same word to refer to both 'myth' amd 'legend' depending on the context. Plus, most of us have this somewhat ridiculous thing called ta'arof, roughly translated as standing upon ceremony, which sometimes mean you don't express your real comment explicitly. Example: do you want some more pistachios? (Wants more but says nooooo, thank you!) SO, a lot of Europeans and Americans talk much more frankly compared to us, and some moght find that offensive🤷

@Bryan Bradley 2 different names for hookah! But don't say shisha in Iran, because it might be confused with the Persian word "shishe" which means meth! (Literal meaning: glass!)
I live in Canada and quit alcohol 43 years ago…best decision I ever made and I never went back. It is important to consider the effect of, even small quantities of alcohol on the soul. It shuts down one’s Conscience and it obscures one’s ability to inner focus for up to 7 days. Alcohol in relationships can be devastating and only add to the division between men and women. In Canada alcoholism and drug abuse are serious social problems eroding western society! It takes courage to live consciously, don’t give up on yourself!
Go ahead, do it, I don't care...I was just stating that life must have been better in your county before the Islamic revolution took place...I mean getting lashed in public for just having on single alcoholic beverage, how awful..

Another thing that should be banned is soda which contains a huge amount of sugar which cause damage to health, and cigaretes as well which is a drug. The precepts of Islam also forbid smoking cigaretes as well, however, people still do it. So, if they dont ban cigaretes, then theybshould allow the production of at least wines!

We have always been a muslim country from the start and we were a secular nation back in the past thats why most of the people were okay with religion and been muslim as it was never forced. But all of the islamization of our country is done by our military and USA when they throw out our prime minister in 80s and hang him to de@th and put the puppet in government that been controlled by America. Because America dont want comunism in Afghanistan And he start radiclization of our youth and start making mujahids( islamic fighters) and also start making and training taliban in Afghanistan who will fight with the soveits in Afghanistan and kick them out from the country which they do so. After doing it taliban control Afghanistan. But after some time when America attack Afghanistan we supported Americans and give them our air base for there drone attacks that angers taliban and they start doing suici de bom bs here in pakistan and the war of liberation countries until this time . Now Americans are out of the Afghanistan. But i wish we have never ever taken part in that war that result in the radicalizaion of our youth it was all usa who use religion as a tool to use our people. And makes our people religious f@natics Now most of the youth and half of the midage population want the old secular like the past. While half of the midage people want the country to be run like same today. As its not too much strict but also not too much secular. While the old folks want it to governed by sharia law with all the islamic laws. But our constitution dont allow our country to be run by sharia so it can't be happen. Also our government never been run by any religious party thats why we never been under the religious mullah regime . Our government parties are never religious parties but our people get islamized after 80s. That's the only problem in our country but our youth generation is changing so its a good news

@Bryan Bradley hubble-bubble, shisha...!
@Bryan Bradley Just googled this one! A certain type of marijuana, apparently!
8 am here, and can't get up yet🥱
@Bryan Bradley 2 different names for hookah! But don't say shisha in Iran, because it might be confused with the Persian word "shishe" which means meth! (Literal meaning: glass!)
@Bryan Bradley yes, unfortunately we do have it over here....
As beer lover I would suffer in Iran.
Exactly 😟 That's one of the main reasons why many people wouldn't want to visit Iran
Hello there🙋🌺 Thanks for your comment, and it's nice to hear you're happy with your decision ✌🏼
It was a bad idea to get rid of the shah...
🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫
I'll delete your comment later on
Go ahead, do it, I don't care...I was just stating that life must have been better in your county before the Islamic revolution took place...I mean getting lashed in public for just having on single alcoholic beverage, how awful..
@@thrillingalteration6281 exactly. I agree. The deletion would be for my safety, although my videos are already risky....
And things will continue to be aweful for decades....
I’m totally confused how isn’t your number one reason not religion?
Simple: you're not talking to a religious person here, my friend 🙃
Who said Narghese is workaholic. A dedicated vlogger.
Sorry, yeah, Narges is always struggling with several issues in life and can't upload regularly 🥺
No worries dear. Take it easy
@@Janaartin12 Thanks. And sometimes I DO have the time, but I record only when I'm energetic or in a fairly good mood (which is 'not so often), so that I can at least be a little goofy about things that are going on here!
Yeah I was told Iranians are family oriented. You keep a tight bonds dear.
@@Janaartin12 Which SUCKS most of the time!! At this age I absolutely hate to have to love with my parents.
This video made me run to the fridge and grab a 🍺. Gotta enjoy my freedom 😎
Exactly. That's one of the reasons why I have this channel: so that some people might appreciate what they already have
Oy think I‘m drunk. Or tired. Or both.
Good to be drunk? I've never experienced it, so I can't comment!
Tired of housework.
Sick and tired of life.
Lost and worried about the future.
Blurry vision after the ophthalmologist's visit today. Have to go there tomorrow again.
@@NarsFromMars Again?
@@yogatonga7529 long story......
I hate to use and focus on the word "luck", but I've been definitely not a very lucky human being my whole life😆🤦
@@NarsFromMars I wish you the best … but you will still release your next video 😃?
@@yogatonga7529 haven't had the time and the good energy to film these days. Grandparents are terribly ill. Covid and more. Both in hospital.
I love u
🙃🌺🙃🌺
Hey sistee you just denounced your religion in this video so stay safe, if iranian police got your video then they might catch you
Well, yeah, I'm not a religious person.....and again, yes, I've already risked a lot by expressing my honest views on several issues...... I don't know..... I still try to be cautious, I record with my scarf on, etc, I avoid talking about certain issues, but when I do talk I can't lie and be pretentious....
Hope it'll be worth it.
@@NarsFromMars may Allah protect you sister❤🙏
You really look pretty in orange dress.. a kiss from me..
A kiss already?😅
@@NarsFromMars In your mind...
Be careful about comments on religion please. It is a matter of time the Iranian authorities to monitor youtube eventually. You may also consider emigrating too. I am sure you would be happier eventually.
There's no way I can afford immigration
@@NarsFromMars me neither. Inflation is like a hell here Turkey. I spend all my money to pay the rent and food. I got almost nothing after them. Cant even afford a passport which is practically useless too.
@@helloworld963 seriously??
@@NarsFromMars yeah 😓
@@helloworld963 sorry to hear that. I hope everything will be ok soon
Apart from the religion issue alcohol is very very bad thing thank god i quite drinking to do specialty for women , i think one should thank islam for this and the 99,9% is not right because 50% of whome they tried it they can not stand it’s post drinking affects

Sister, I came to islam at my 34th and I gave up with alcohol, alhamdulillah. Alcohol is very bad
In terms of religion, no comments, go with what works for you....., And alcohol....yeah it seems the side effects outweigh the benefits.....🤷
@@NarsFromMars nice words👏🏻👏🏻
@Sahil Ahmedöv is it funny?
@Sahil Ahmedöv I see your point, I hope Allah will keep her heart opened and will guide her, I would not like to call any one not a muslim unless their declare it. Make Ummah great again ))) Peace, brother!
@Sahil Ahmedöv I was baptised as Russian Orthodox, but I have quit and I was looking for truth in different places and religions, I have tried Buddism, different new age cults and after that, I considered myself as an atheist, astaghfirullah, and finally in 2017 by the mercy of Allah I have found Islam. Long way )
All Iranians (Persians) I know don't drink alcohol but they are all hashish or cocaine fiends which are both illegal here in the states. Figure that one out.
Interesting to hear some Iranians living in the US don't drink.....
But marijuana is legal in some states now, isn't it??
@@NarsFromMars Yes marijuana is legal now but not at that time. I can't say if hashish is legal even. They were all into hashish not standard marijuana. Those Iranians seemed to be the only ones who could source hashish.
You're funny and cute 1:15, 1:52, 3:17
Thank you so much🙈🌺🌺
Don't drink alcohol
Hey i wana ask how much % of iran follows islam. I have friends from iran and everyone i know dont even care about religion at all. Sometimes been a good friend i send greetings of eids to them but they dont even know thats the eid day 😂. So i am always curious how iranian take the religion in there life. But in my thinking this new generation of iran is gonna be the most atheist generation among all muslim countries . Because i feel like only old folks in iran cares about religion . While the new generation wana get rid of it . Correct me if i am wrong in my assumptions
I'd say much fewer Iranians are actually 'practicing' Islam, even those who do consider themselves Muslims.
Religious cousins do send me these kind of messages, I don't reply, and I'm like "the only EID I have is our Persian New Year, this is 'eid' for those who've destroyed the country and YOU, their filthy fans".
Hashtag genuine feelings from a non-religious Iranian girl.
@@NarsFromMars yeah i think thats called nowroz right they wish me that too. They even celebrate it going to the garden there is a famous poet they read his poetry and ask in prayers from him
@@NarsFromMars i can feel you its been hard to follow a religion when its been forced on you. You know same here is the problem in my country. But its a bit better as compared to iran as religion is not been forced by our government .
