HI sir I am trying to import one excel file in same process but there is one vode page issue i.e. codepage in file:UTF-8 not compatible with repository code page:MS1252 .Error encountered while parsing file. I look forward for your answer . Thanks
Hi, These steps are only for the objects but not for the source and target files. The error which is get is due to the IS configurations settings conflicting with that of the RS code page settings. You can create a new IS with the compatible code page and try this. Regards, Sid
Hi Sir, One Doubt :- I'm having one csv file which is in informatica source path (unix path)(Source analyzer--> import from flat file) Here while clicking in import from flat file it's showing my local desktop path. How I can connect to unix path (I have given source path(unix path) in session properties source directory/path it's working fine). But when im importing from my local windows path Delimiter validation and string length I have given at my end. But when it's move to production their we cant manually import source and dont change any Delimiter and string length. How we can change string length and Delimiter in production
