Hi Haze, a question regarding the professional reference letter. My reference person is no longer working with my previous employer, the official letterhead should still be from my previous employer’s? Or my reference’s current employer will do? Thanks ahead!

According to the ANMAC site, they mention that academic transcripts should include both the course commencement and completion dates. However, in my case, only the degree awarded date (completion date) is listed on the transcript. What should I do in this situation? Is it a problem? I'm looking for modified RN skills assessment and I am an IQN who recently got AHPRA registration. :)

Hello. That’s fine as long as it’s a full transcript of records of your Nursing Degree. I don’t think it should be an issue.

Hello! If it’s at least 3 years within the last 10 years from now, yes! So you could get more points and add it to your current.

I would suggest to have eveything ready prior qpplying. COGs should have been requested as well upon application. All the best! 🙏

You have mentioned that they will only accept emails sent from an official workplace email address; however, the hospital I worked for in the Philippines doesn’t provide employees with work email address. Do you know if there is any workaround regarding this issue? Thank you.
Hello! I believe I haven’t mentioned that Prof reference should come from the workplace directly. You’ll have to put their email address in the Prof reference itself, in case they would contact them. If not, then at least your supervisor’s email should be there. Is the hospital letterhead doesn’t have an email address?

Hello Ms. Haze, im confused, i have a work exp in surgical for 23 mos, now im in the community for 2yrs and 5mos now. these are 2 different codes, i have prof reference for both. what should i put in the option "Select the final ANZSCO Code you wish to be assessed under" upon starting assessment?
Maybe submit both, then see which anszco code anmac would choose when they issue the LOD. Since both exp are less than 3 years, it won’t be eligible to claim for points.

Hello! If I were you, I would get my Ahpra registration first then apply for anmac. Just put NZ as your initial registration in the application. 😊

Hello. I don’t usually check kung anong resolution ng docs ko. As long as clear.
Do I need a PTE test result for ANMAC registration? I am an enrolled nurse registered with AHPRA and qualify for a modified skill assessment. I recently graduated so I will not be using any experience letter or professional references. So, do I still need the PTE result?
For RNs, No need as ahpra registration is enough. If you can meet the modified skills assessment, it should be fine, as english test there is not indicated.

Hello. Yes. If you submit a UK prof reference, you need to arrange for UK to send it to Ahpra, same goes with other BON.

Hello! I have a sample professional reference in my short videos. I just made it according fo ther format. Don’t copy, just make it as a guide. You have to upload it in the ANMAC portal with your requirements.

I still have some time, so once i apply for AHPRA registeration I would like to apply for the modified skills assessment. However, I will have no work experience at that time (or very minimal). Hello! Yes, just apply for Rn nec if you don’r have rn exp yet.
Thanks so much. I spoke to a migration agent and they advised I needed to have 3 months experience to apply for a modified skills assessment. I couldn’t find that information on ANMAC website though.

Hi, very well explained. I've got my AHPRA registration. i worked in UAE from 2014 till date. Previously i worked in Saudi Arabia from 2006-2012 & India 2003-2006. Do i need to send Good Standing Certificate from these countries to ANMAC. Also do i require to upload cerified copy of passport?
Hello! As per anmac, they will only review RN experiences 10 years from the date of application. So for now, from Aug 2013. There’s no harm of submitting the old ones but I doubt they will review it. If you opt to submit from 2014 til date, that’s more than enough to acquire the maximum points for PR and would need to submit COGS from UAE only. No need to certify documents to Anmac.

To be honest, some says mgkaiba cla. Pero since you have to submit anmac, ngng safe na lang ako as to what to claim. As for me, I also lose points for experience. I have more than 8 years experience but since anmac only caters 7 years as the other RN exp was past 10 years exp, I only claimed 5 years exp and 10 points. Consult a migration agent if you want.

Hi I need to do skills assessment for 186 visa. Can you please suggest on the following: I studied in nepal worked there intially then moved to uk and am working here for last 14 years. Now I have got NZ registration and applied AHPRA via TTMR. On the question which country did you gain inital nursing registration? is it Nepal or UK 2. On the question are you submitting professional references for points recognition on your visa application? Is this NO as I only needs skills assessment for 186. Thank you
Nepal, I guess? Depends on the option for that question really. Profe reference to gain points for overseas exp at least 3 years.

Hello! Sorry, I don’t have. That only difference is, fill up the form, put your card details for the payment, and upload the form in the website written. Then wait for Ahra, before doing anything.

Hello! If you will apply now, I would assume they will review your experience from Dec 2012. Though you could still submit from 2011 and wait for the result. 😊
Anmac will only review experience within 10yrs so if was 2011 and we are in 2013 nope and you cant even put on the eoi otherwise sometimes it can be a problem like overclaim of experience

I had worked in a medical ward wherein there's a lot of cases on it particularly Pediatrics, Obstetric-Gynecology, Surgical, and Ortho case. Follow-up question. So, I have worked in 2 areas in the same hospital. Do I have to submit 2 references, or only 1 is enough?

Hello! For RN Anszco code, RN experience lang po ang alam ko na irreview ng anmac. So for me, hindi po. Iba kc ang anszco code ng EN dto and since eyeing ka for RN naman to get your PR.

Professional referece is different from COGS, so you have to upload it into the portal.
@@itssuperhazeGyah I understand that. Good standing is from professional licensing authority body whereas professional reference is from hospital where we work. As per anmac, both our professional reference and license authority have to send email to anmac from their official email address.
But why there is only option to upload professional reference letter but not letter issued by professional licensing authority. Thanks!

As per Anmac, only those with Prof reference, but it may be asked.
Do we get accumulated points for work experiences having different anzsco code? Or just from the chosen one anzsco code?
I am not sure as points depends on which anszco code you will be applying and for how maby exp do you have for that. Anmac might decide on which one. To be safe, choose nec for all work experiences to claim the maximum points for exp.

Hello! I did my reference letter after I resigned, 2021, before my manager left. I did my anmac 2022. I don’t think it’s an issue, as long as it is done with the same format as Anmac and had it before you leave that experience, of course.

If you don’t have any nz exp then no need to declare it nor submit a cogs.
It is very helpful video. I have professional references that my manager signed it on 2019. I have worked as RN in overseas from 2009 to 2019 and came Australia to study as well as completed nursing registration on 2023. Hello! No need, unless they’ve asked for it as your original license was in the PH. I actually submitted mine though they didn’t review and include my PH experience anymore. Just submit your ME COGS. 😊

You can try, they will decide on which anszco code you will have. Though I would recommend the longer exp anszco code. Since 3 years is the min anyway. Just submit both.

You choose your own based on your area of experience. Anmac would assess and confirm it. Check the description of each codes to which fits you.

Do you think I will be ok with the Community Health code (254414) or should I go for a specific code as my latest experience is a specialist role?
Hello! Thanks for watching. I am not really expert with anszco codes. I would suggest to reasy the description to which your experience may fall into, otherwise put NEC. Anmac might suggest a different anszco code on your final LOD anyways. Email them as well if still confused. All the best! 🤍

@@JodieStanford Letter of Determination. That’s your positive skills assessment with Anmac. Whatever exp you’re claiming for anmac to review, you need to submit Prof referencd for each as long as it’s the same anszco code.

Yes, either in AU or overseas. AU exp with at least 1 year with 20 hours a week. If you want that experience to be reviewed by anmac, you will need to sumbit a Prof reference. 😊
I'm registered with NCNZ but did not work there, can I still ask for COGS from there? I don't think we have COGS here in the US

For employment purposes, you can submit both. For Anmac, you can submit both prof reference given that it’s within the last 10 years to earn thr highest points.

@@sovanraksmey9252 I just had it after 3 weeks of apolication. Though now I think it’s about 6-8 weeks. I don’t think there’s a difference with the process, except that you have to pay the agent.

I am doubt with step. When will anmac say to us to submit good standing certificate from our home country nursing council? And how do we need which email address to be sent?

They won’t tell you. You need to arrange it with your respective BON. The email address of anmac is in this vlog. Arrange it just before you submit your ANMAC application.

No need. You just need it when you’ve submitted a prof reference and you want ANMAC to review that RN experience. Unless, it’s your initial registration and they’ve asked for it.

Maam ask lang sana ako info regarding anmac.. mag aaply kasi ung wife ko ng anmac at medyo nahihirapan kami mag secure ng professional reference dito sa work namin sa UK. Meron syang expi sa ph 9 yrs un last 2021 sya umalis doon. Ang balak namin ung sa ph nalang ung papaasses namin tas ung dito sa UK hinde na namin papaases. Pwede kaya eto? Ung sa UK kasi 1.6yrs palang unx expi nya at sa carehome po eto at ung inaaplyan kasi namin is hospital based work na uli. Aside from that ask din po sana kung sakaling kelangan pa din namin ung dito sa UK wala silang email na with in the company at meron lang sila personal email. Nahihirapan kasi kami mag secure ng reference. Sana maam ma help moko sa query ko thanks
Hello Ma'am. I need your help re ANMAC ref letter. My experience is 1 yr and 8 most as Radiology nurse then 6 months as HD nurse in same hospital. Then 11 months as HD nurse sa different hospital in PH. In UK worked as HD nurse for 1 year and 1 month and currently working now as recovery nurse from May 2023 till present. Mejo confused po aka on how to do with this. do I need to get ref letter for each? thank you po. Really appreciate your videos as well, very helpful.
Hello! You could just put RN NEC for all of it, but yes! each employer and manager needs a Prof reference, so you could claim all of it.

Hello! If you’ve submitted all you RN experience and in different hospital, countries, then yes. One prof reference for each RN experience that you’re claiming.

Hello! If you want to claim 2 anszco code, I would suggest to choose whichever points you will gain more. I can’t advise which one really. 🙈 You could try to submit both, the anmac would decide on the lod.

Hello! Sorry, I am unsure about ENs. You made read it from Anmac. But from what I read, you can submit experience as EN to gain points for skills assessment under EN Anszco code. Email anmac to confirm. They are responsive anyway. Goodluck 🙏

Hello! Depends on how many work experience you will submit or claim for the last 10 years upon submission. Each employer for sure one Prof reference and Cogs.

Hello! I am not sure if may conflict pag iba ang anszco code ng idedeclare na previous exp sa current. It’s good if you can submit the 8 years, for points purposes. They just don’t review if less than 3 years overseas and won’t need a prof reference since wala ding bearing sa point system.

I applied for ANZSCO 423312 without an experience certificate. However, I have passed a diploma in nursing and am currently working in UAE. Please confirm whether an experience certificate is also required to be uploaded.
Hello! You don’t need to submit COE or statement pf service certificate, just the initial nursing diploma, and other related to documenst as mentioned in this vlog.
