Try the new wen method in the pinned comment, you get 500 wen from betty every 5 mins without any work You can spam wagon during cooldown or save up for fishing and then go fish while on cooldown

btw u can get ALOT wen when ur taking the quest from the grandpa. If im not mistaken it gives 100-150 wen per quest. its in the kiribating village
