With all the sixs in this video, it might as well be Gwen's lucky number. I am also concerned over why AJ wanted to fake... His own death? Kidnap someone else and fake their death? That conversation was confusing...
I just remembered a friend once asked me what I think RE does in their spare time and I said, "Idk something normal adults would do". 7:30 ; ........I don't know to think whether this is special or just something weird....
Are we just not going to mention how Gwen nearly moidered the Pikachu? Aight. Man, the hours and hardwork for this coat are crazy, you sewed the lining in for 8 hours?? Madness! Once again, awesome job! Six's coat looked really good in the video.
Your sewing videos are the best of their kind. Gwen is so talented and funny in the same time, not to mention the times when we get to see the RE cast in their natural environment ! As someone who is starting to learn how to sew, I can say you’re the greatest source of inspiration and motivation.
I absolutely LOVEEEE the costume videos, as someone who is working on their costuming skills, I love watching Gwen make these costumes! Random! But I ordered a raincoat to use for an outfit, and turns out it’s very similar to the one in the original Little Nightmares!
Hmm... I'm thinking Princess Anastasia is the more "common knowledge" between the two. I'm pretty sure we read parts of Homer's Odyssey in 10th grade English, but only parts of it, and knowledge retention of details of Greek mythology only really sticks with a small minority of people who find it interesting.
It would seem most of the comments agree with you, and I'm glad to hear it. I thought I was going a little crazy, since AJ didn't know about either of them... - Gwen
I’ve been making my Halloween costumes for a while and each time I make my Halloween costume I listen to you in the background making a costume it’s fun and it’s entertaining. I hope you continue to do these videos I really really like them.
Yes! I still love watching Gwen make these amazing costumes!!! Also, yes, Princess Anastasia's story is very interesting. I remember learning about her in school last year....:)
Ooh... so many questions and things! I feel like I'm taking a quiz. Here we go; this will be a long one: 1) I want to collaboratively write the Laws of Feline Dynamics - or if that's already been done, I want to write a complete book of 1 Caticus and 2 Caticus. (I hope that wouldn't be sacrilegious.) 2) When you mention Mr. Meowse challenging you to work with 1 and 1/2 hands, it made me think of a certain type of sword whose hilt is 1.5 hands long. But... maybe it's better I don't call it by name here. 3) A few methods to fake your death by using a body double: - Malctonio mentioned this one already: hack into the medical records of you and the person whose dead body you are using, and swap the information. That person's DNA, dental records, and other vital information now bear your information, leading casual observers to believe the dead person is you. - Do something like Bane did in The Dark Knight Rises. He takes some blood from the person whose death he wants to fake, injects it into the dead body, artificially pumps the heart of the dead person, and spills some remaining blood on the body's clothes. When investigators come to check on the airplane crash, at least some of the blood will match the profile of a person they have on their records, and they'll believe him to be the dead person. (To be honest, though, I don't know if this would really work.) - Swap ID cards or some distinctive article of clothing of yours so that it is found on the deceased person. If investigators don't have a reason to assume foul play, they may take the first sign that identifies a person and assume it to be that person. - If the death somehow involves fire, it becomes even harder to identify a deceased person. So, external indicators are relied on even more. I learned that from gruesome experience. At a place where I once worked, I showed up and everything smelled horrible. I was told the dumpster outside had a fire burning in it. When the fire was put out, they found a dead body in there. Homicide investigators took the dumpster to study, just in case it had been a murder. I was told the body was so badly burned, they couldn't even tell if it was a man or woman without further testing. It took a lot of investigating to find out anything. Apparently a homeless person had just been trying to keep warm in our dumpster full of cardboard and plastic shrink wrap. They think a lit cigarette or something got out of control, and the fumes of burning plastic probably knocked this person unconscious, so he couldn't get out as the flames got out of control. It was a really sad story, once it was pieced together. Anyway, the point is, fire destroys a lot of evidence. Not perfectly, but enough to make investigation more difficult. - Stage a death in such a way that it's reasonable to assume the body is just lost. A body lost at sea, or in a huge forest, or in a deep cave or mine shaft, may never be found. You could even go full-on Mythbusters, and push a mannequin out of a helicopter with explosives strapped to it, and detonate it in midair. People will see the falling body and explosion, and that will satisfy enough people to think there will be no body left to recover. The death is reasonably assumed, and impossible to confirm. - This whole line of thinking is making me sad. Moving on. 4) Why did you have a conversation about faking one's own death? Hmm... is this a tiny spoiler about some future RE project? Perhaps? Or maybe just something that Nate and AJ had been discussing earlier? 5) Why doesn't AJ know who Anastasia Romanova is? Umm... good question. I first heard of her from the 1997 movie, "Anastasia." I later found out she was a real historical figure when one of our units in junior high social studies was about the history of Russia and the USSR. If it weren't for those... I think that otherwise, Princess Anastasia hasn't been a part of pop culture so much in recent decades. 6) Which of you is the weird one here? Ha ha ha. No comment, eh. Love you both. ^_^ 7) Future Gwen, please iron everything in sight. Try wrapping cheese sandwiches in aluminum foil and running your iron over them. See if it makes good grilled cheese. 8) Ha. I like the foreshadowing of telling us, "for no reason," that it took 15 minutes to stitch with the machine. Because it was unrelated that the next stitching job, by hand, took 8 hours. 9) I do think knowing about Charybdis is a bit more obscure. I didn't even know that was how it was spelled, until now. (And somehow, it never clicked that using a summon in an RPG called "Charybdis" was a reference to that same monster.) The Odyssey doesn't show up on a lot of reading lists, so not as many people are familiar with it. I still attribute a lot of my memories of The Odyssey to the Wishbone computer game from the early '90s. It's amazing how funny they could make even dark moments. ("Boy, digging is a lot more fun when you're not burying someone's body," said Wishbone, his paws tossing dirt onto Elpenor's corpse.) ****** Cool costume video today. And I love all the cat cameos! Have a nice day, all five of you (i.e., all three humans and two cats)!
Thank you for being thorough. ;) To answer YOUR question: AJ was in fact thinking about a future RE project. He has a storyline he really wants to put on screen, but it would take a... dark... turn. We'll see if we manage to pull it off in the future. - Gwen
@@laughsingay You know, I'd thought about this again a couple months ago. I think that the 1990s were a time when the story of Anastasia Romanova was especially popular - not only because of the animated movie, but because the '90s were the last point when the world had hope of finding her still alive. By the 2000s and onward, she would be presumed dead, regardless of whether or not she had secretly survived her execution, escaped the Bolshevik revolution, and gone into hiding back in 1917. With no living person left to discover, and to question, a lot of the hype about the former princess died down, I think. So, yeah, I think it makes sense that Anastasia's story is not as common of knowledge anymore. Cool that you heard of it, though.
You know, I would love to know the context of the WHOLE kidnapping/faking death convo… Very intriguing… 😂 (I knew about Anastasia, not the Ancient Greek one.) Love the costume video! (I like the return of throodleboodle! 🤣)

How could AJ not know about Anastasia. They even made a musical and multiple movies about her, which I will admit some are rather inaccurate but that’s okay. I know most people worried that it would make kids now wrong history about the Romanov family, but in reality it actually inspired lot of kids(me included) to learn more about their family. And to this day despite the inaccuracies within the movie the 1997 20 century fox animated movie Anastasia is one of my favorite movies.
I only know of princess Anastasia because the actress who plays her in the Broadway musical(I’m hoping is the story of Anastasia you are talking about) is in my favorite musical theatre show ever.
Okay, AJ, the most “common” way of doing this, is getting into a car accident, the car lighting on fire, which usually causes an explosion, planting a fake body with your teeth in the skull, and you never show your face again.

Hello there Gwen! I have a question: long story short, I'm making Six's raincoat myself (a miniature version) and I appreciate you showing the pattern you used, but I can't make head or tail of what piece needs to go where lol. Would you mind elaborating on how you put the hood together? (I'm using the first pattern you tried.) My brain is tying itself into knots trying to figure it out 😆. Thanks!
Well... I just looked it up, and it looks like nine is supposed to be my horoscope's lucky number (which is weird, because I do have a funny attachment to the number nine...). Six is an upside down nine? Maybe it still has good things for me? - Gwen
The pattern I used is actually a really good one for beginning sewists! There's nothing too difficult about putting this all together, though you'll want to read the directions carefully to put the sleeve in properly if you've never done that before. I would just say to be very careful when you cut out your fabric - make sure you are as exact as possible. If you cut everything well in the beginning, it will be very easy to put together. - Gwen

the MrHops head is there
Hahaha, that’s pretty hilarious, my younger brother has a shirt like that at 6:58. And that was perfect timing.
woah im earlier than when my mom says my cosplay arrived-
Pov: you're here after gwen said that she would be in the comments after The stream

i wonder what is in store for June's musical?
R.I.P pikachu plush you were a great plush and a great raincoat
I realised he lived so…..
My fav character is six, cause six is my lucky number, actually 🍀
this was uploaded a day before my birthday o-o
Gwen: is just about to use Pikachu
AJ: ok guys it's happening everybody stay calm
Are you sure the number Six isn’t a lucky number in your horoscope? Not to mention you also talked about how you finished editing too around 6am, lol
Well... I just looked it up, and it looks like nine is supposed to be my horoscope's lucky number (which is weird, because I do have a funny attachment to the number nine...). Six is an upside down nine? Maybe it still has good things for me? - Gwen
2:55 HEY! THATS MY JOB!! Or maybe...
IT WAS ME!!
I used thi tutorial to make a Six doll, so thank you
The fact that I saw AJ and Gwen at universal! I was just too awkward to talk LOL-
I'm sorry you felt too awkward! I wish we had been able to say hello! - Gwen
I had no idea who Princess Anastasia was but do know about the Iliad and the Odyssey. Thought I also fully admit I could be weird.
I love Mr. Meowse every time he messes around with the fabrics and costumes during the make. Like if you agree with me.
YES-IM A HISTORY NERD AS WELL YUSSS
Me and my friend have no experience with sewing but are planning on making this coat! Do you have any recommendations or pointers?
The pattern I used is actually a really good one for beginning sewists! There's nothing too difficult about putting this all together, though you'll want to read the directions carefully to put the sleeve in properly if you've never done that before. I would just say to be very careful when you cut out your fabric - make sure you are as exact as possible. If you cut everything well in the beginning, it will be very easy to put together. - Gwen
I really want to be Six or Mono for a dressing up occasion so I might make my own cosplay or find a way how without the complicated steps.
Oh uhhh Well Gwen how are you going to be the Queen when your a cat?
All cats are queens... - Gwen
@@REExtra So true (or kings)
You should have lined the inside of the hood with black fabric To make it look more like an empty black hole.😊
Cool
