mine are completely different. I get a rotation of about a dozen, most are easily identifiable, and i can tell which are friends. Anyways, as soon as they have something, they are calm and keep going until it's done. It's like the "bird in hand" kind of thinking. it's when they're in between choosing something that they're jumping around and lunging at one another. I have 2 new babies coming by, brought over by 2 of the older ones.
Mine are 100% in shell walnuts right now. After they eat every walnut they move on to the other nuts. The almonds are last to be picked. Now I’m wondering if they’ll change up the primary choice as we move into spring. Thanks for the information about their nut preferences changing.

I do a punkin, spanish nut and sunflower seeds mix. Never though of carrots or cucumber.
