I know that you are a Hot Wheels man, but some of the recent Matchbox range have some outrageous 4X4's that scream out Mad Max. A favourite of mine is the 'Jungle Crawler' which looks like a post war Dodge or GMC. It's begging to be altered. Whatever, you do great stuff. Thanks for sharing.
I made a mad max custom a few days ago , well its inspired by a car from motorstorm apocalypse but it is mad max inspired xD . A 80's Pontiac firebird with a Front plow , a gun hatch and red rebar , tires in the trunk and a huge rear bull bar
Okay... I gotta say... Your restorations are extremely impressive. But your mods? Especially this one? Dude, I do this kinda thing with plastic miniatures, YOU ARE A GENIUS. If you were to keep doing these kinds of mods, the only advice I would give you is to start looking on wargame, and miniature hobby sites to see if the site has a parts bin section, and start building up some bits. I can't give you any advice on the actual technical aspect, because it looks like you already have it down, fantastically.

I just started watching your videos about 20 minutes ago and I think they're awesome! I saw you using a match for your forge. If you haven't already then you should pull an old "snap" igniter from a barbecue and use that instead. It makes things really easy on my little forge

I think the front near to the exausts looks fragile. Add more stuff to link the middle part and something like a boars teeth like structure.
