In Assam Police Service Rules, there is no such requirements available as far as I'm concerned. Baki, Physical Standards khini alop sabo aru which is common to other state cadres also.

It depends on the candidates choice of preference. Apart from ACS, many posts are equivalent such as APS, DTO, Superintendent of Exice, Superintendent of Taxes etc.
