I didnt know they were so talented. I have heard other people talk about JK and how good he is at painting and that there is a run bts episode that will show that but I didnt know the others were very artistic lol. I do love the design on the guitar tho ! 😊

There are also videos of SUGA playing songs on his piano and guitar on Vlogs of his, and in concert. Livestreams with ARMY. And RM now plays the saxophone and piano. He's actually in a military band as one of his roles in the military. Our guys are all very talented. JIMIN also can play the guitar and piano. Have you watched the Taylor guide? Also, about RM, he loves to cut his hair short when the weather gets warm, so this had nothing to do with the military. Also, he didn't enlist until much later. RM, V, JIMIN, and JK, enlisted December 11 & 12, 2023. Suga's concerts were April thru August 2023. And yes, SUGA did drink on Stage. His microphone design was abalone and mother of pearl, in the same design as on his guitar. I think his earpieces match as well. They did show sections of the stage being lifted in the air at certain points, you may not have noticed it, but they did show it. BTS are all rock stars. If you watch the rap line songs, Mic Drop, RUN BTS, at the BUSAN concert, you will see that. And the vocal line as well. Butterfly and Zero O'Clock, are EPIC. All the guys give credit to their musicians, choreographer, Dancers, and paying homage to artists that they use their music. SUGA didn't need the lyrics. J-Hope had the same at Lollapalooza, but he didn't need them either. It's a "just in case" thing.

During the actual concerts JK, Jimin and Namjoon performed one of their solo songs before leaving the stage. You can find those performances on UA-cam. JK did Seven, Jimin did Like Crazy and RM did an unreleased song. RM had the buzzcut for months before he went into the military. He talks about the drink in one of the Suchwita. He was definitely drinking on stage. He said he was making High Ball with an energy drink in it.

I went on Wednesday, it was great! Yoongi killed it and the members! So much diversity in Army audience, we screamed and sang like it was the real concert,I loved it💜
Yoongi giving the band, the back up singers, & the dancers a special time to show off a bit is one of the special moment of the tour. The band members getting crazy each time, & after the tour finished they missed the time there. Someone still bringing his Shooky small doll everywhere, to his vacation & his other gigs.. 😅
This concert and tour is based on the story line of Agust D (all 3 albums) they took out a lot of backstory videos that played in between sets. Also,each member Performed on different days, they cut out the parts where yoongi leaves the stage and they sing their own songs( Seven, Like Crazy and an unreleased song from RM) Btw Jk performed Burn it on 1st day..Jimin performed Tony Montana on 2nd day and RM performed Strange on 3rd day with yoongi and if you take the first letters of each song it spells out BTS..he thought of everything. Obviously this movie didn’t show everything and it was a mix of the last 3 shows..or else it would be like 4 hours long and he did interact with the crowd a lot..but I’m glad you enjoyed it, seeing him in concert in NYC was something I will never forget..I miss him and the members..I can’t wait for 2025💜
I wish they would included the other songs performed by RM, Jimin and JK. That wouldve been the cherry on top lol. But its okay ! Im glad you got to see him in person, i would love to have seen any of them if not all of them in person! ill be first in line for tickets when they come out for their next tour ! 🙈
Actually RM had his head shaved for quite awhile before he enlisted. He said he shaved his head because of the summer heat. Thanks for sharing your experience. I am unable to go to this movie but I actually went to his concert in Chicago last year (it was incredible to see Suga live in person) and I saw his Japan concert at the movies last year too. I'm so happy you had a good time.

Most of the US concerts he was drinking whiskey during the concert but he got sick once he hit Asia so he drank a medicinal concoction of some kind of tea/herbs to help his throat as he had a persistent cough for a few of the shows. I was lucky to get to Singapore to see all 3 shows and it felt like he'd turned a corner and was back to his good old bad self - he was bloody amazing and it was one of the best experiences of my life.

Welcome. 💜 The concert had a concept from beginning to end. Yoongi showed us his progression of feelings and of self in a very open and raw way. He has grown soooooo much. His cyphers show that as well. He also shows his progression with being on stage in the beginning of 2013 through now. It’s very intricate and very Yoongi/Agust D/Suga. There’s a reason he was carried on and it has deep meaning. stepping into the spot light on his own, with no fear. He allows himself to get close to us, phones, selfies, big smiles. Major change. And yes, those tears last day. He carried a lot and showed us song by song how he put it away. He put that concert concept together with carte blanche of everything it involved. The concert in NY was wild!! I needed another carryon just for my goodies and all the things other ARMYs gave me💜💜BTS saved my life. I loved them all like beautiful nephews. No bias, I think … but Suga is my heart. That mental musical connection. If it came out of the genius lab, it’s gonna touch your soul. I hope you take the time to learn more about them individually and as a whole. It will widen your eyes and your mind to places you never dreamed of. I promise. I'm a 71-year-old Army and a Stay! There is no age limit on appreciation for true talent! I'm just really disappointed that this concert movie was not being shown anywhere in the Pacific Northwest. I would think that Seattle or Portland would've been a great venue… That being said, as soon as it's announced that BTS is back on tour, I will definitely wrestle you for a ticket, lol!
It's a shame that there weren't distributors who didn't choose to show it up there, for sure. I can't imagine that we in the Southeast got it over those of you in the Northwest. That's crazy.

I watched the movie and yup, they just never disappoint. Yes he was drinking alcohol while on stage but there was a point where he had to replace it with energy drink because he fell ill. Yoongi really is savage, there were lots of cussing said and done in his concerts that weren’t in the movie. Also, i wish they included the one where he was sobbing! It was very emotional. And when he showed his 7 tattoo for the first time!
Did they make it clear when JK, Jimin and RM sang, the songs spelled BTS: “(B)urn it”, “(T)ony Montana, “(S)strange”? If I was a betting woman, I’d say he was probably drinking alcohol. 😊, especially if he was sick. When JK was on his show Suchwita, he told JK about being really sick with a high fever and felt like he might collapse. He made what he called … I forgot, but like Super Highball. That helped him make it through.

This is the 2nd time that the D Day concert has been played in the movie theatre. The first time it was copy paste of the actual tour. This time they cut out 4 songs and placed songs in different performance order. They also used footage from different perfomance days. Each time you saw the behind clips it was actually a replacement for his outfit change clips. This final was also livestreamed real time, so i think the edits were due to the facts that so many ARMY had already seen the full footage.
I am glad you enjoyed it! So happy for you. I was fortunate enough to see 3 BTS concerts (2019 LYSY, 2022 PTD LA, 2023 PTD LV) and this D-Day tour in LA. The ocean of Army bombs is a magnificent sight. Those things you wished happened or were shown in the movie you will see in the actual concert. Hi ! I am 56 I went on my birthday with 2 of my daughters and the next day I saw it on IMAX with my LA crew. (We saw BTS at SoFi a couple of years ago) we also saw Agust-D in concert in Rosemont Illinois last May. It was INCREDIBLE ! The atmosphere in that concert was electric !!! In person the stage looked bigger. The camera work compressed the space. At the concert you sinc your Army light stick to your seat and a control room changes the color for you. The guitar was signed by the BTS members for the tour At the actual concert Yoongi had JK, Jimin and RM do a solo song after the song they did together. Homie WAS drinking on stage
You should see the full actual tour video. As Suga performs through his songs the stage pieces disappear, like him saying goodbye to his past and just leaving himself. At the end he is fully ground level with army having gotten rid of everything from the past except army
I wish this was live so we could talk to you while to decompress from your concert high! This concert was filmed over three nights. The first night was JK. After Suga left the stage, JK did Seven. The second night, after Tony Montana, Jimin did Like Crazy. The third night after the did Strange, RM performed an untitled and unreleased song. If you want a little extra info about this concert, you should watch the Suchwita episode 27 with El Capitxn. El Capitxn is his best friend and DJ at the concert. They talk about it quite a bit. Actually, I think it is my favorite episode. They edited this concert a lot. As you said, they cut out a lot of the stage floating away. It was really cool. They also cut out several songs to make it fit a typical movie length. There are two versions of Tony Montana. One with Jimin and one with a rapper named Yankie. They have different vibes, but both great.

Imagine a rainy night and you see dark, dingy alleyway. There is a figure on the street who seems to have been hit by a car (I feel like this is a call back to his accident 😢).. the camera zooms in and it is Suga but as it further zooms into his eyes, you see that there is fire. Like, wow! This is concert is so unique as it feels like I am watching a play unfold because the background video, the performance on stage and even the stage itself told a story from beginning to end. 9:14 Funny story: I noticed that a lot of the people are like me who came from work and are waiting for friends who are also from work but are running late . There’s a ep for US, Asia and Seoul. Hoping there is behind the scenes of The Final soon. Regarding the phones, Suga is a rep for Samsung Galaxy ( even produced a new version of their theme song) so during the US tour when he walks towards the audience he looks for Samsung phones but he only was seeing iPhones in the audience so he tells the audience “only Samsung , no iPhones” Suga is savage and I love it!
I went for the Saturday showing i was so emotional, i am so proud of Yoongi!!!! In the cinema we were all dancing and singing along it was such a beautiful experience. I miss BTS so much!! Jimin, V and Jungkook also watched the concert in the audience on the last day (25 June 2023) where Suga gave us all a surprise by announcing 3 more shows in Seoul from August 4-6. And on the 6th Jin and Jhope took a day off from the military to attend the concert. It was so wholesome and precious!!
JK, Jimin and RM actually performed on 3 different days. They each also performed a solo song after the colab song with SUGA. The movie was an edit of all their performances put together. He had other artists on stage during the different shows: Halsey, MAX and PSY. Also, I don't think he did it in the Seoul concerts (I didn't see the movie) but I know in the US concerts his stage slowly disappears by having parts of it lift up to the ceiling after each set of songs. In the end he is left with a small square to perform on. Therefore, the small stage has a significance in his performance.
I saw the Busan concert at XD theater and I agree. It was like being at the concert. The theater was full. not all seats but 3/4 of them. all ages, army bombs, singing and dancing, and all ages! RM shaved his head a long time prior. and NO he was NOT in yet the military has a rule no artist can perform while in service. JIn and J hope were also there, did they show them? maybe you'll tell us. His throat was sore, it's a highball with other stuff in it. He was on his talked show he talked about it. also on Jimmy Fallon show. They all have mics like that. Suga's is black and they are all rhinestone covered in same color, they have matching in ears. Jimin's is gold, Jins is Pink, J Hope red, RM is blue JK is purple, V is green.

Im so glad you got to see the concert and that you enjoyed it sm :) A few notes from your question (as many as I remember and havent been answered before: 1. I would recommend to watch a full concert (someone suggested DDAY Encore Day 3, YES) as in the full length you will get the VCR bits before and during the concert, those explain more about the “lore” of the Agust D trilogy. 2. The design on the mic is a lotus flower pattern hes used through DDAY tour, very pretty, if you remember he uses the lotus flower as a symbol a few times 3. The people pt2 choreo was created by j-hope and gifted to him for the tour, he talks abiut this more during the full lenght concerts, and also jhope performs it in the Hope on the street docu series 4. Even with these few BTS scenes, I dont think you get the full picture of how much effort he put into this tour, hes just a genius, literally, youll eventually get to see this in the bangtan bombs and episodes (theyre on bangtan tv) and he talks about this in a fee Suchwita episodes 5. Tony. Montana. This song was performed by him and jimin last time in… 2017? And we have been waiting for them to perform it again ever since, and from the first date on tour, and throught the full tour we kept on wishing and waiting they would do it again, and getting that performance was everything, suga even tries to convince Jimin to do it during his Suchwita episode, and its just hilarious 6. One thing that just shows how much respect and love for his members he has was the fact that the main act simply ditched the stage without saying a word and just left them there to do their thing 😭 on DDAY day 3, you even get to see him saying hi to Jin and jhope, who figured out their leave schedules to be there for the last day of tour 7. Galaxy, it kinda started as a funny thing he did during the first dates on the US, as hes always been a pro samsung guy, but during tour he sealed it with blood 😂, samsung even had a rent zone for galaxy phones for the barricade people in case you had the chance of him grabing your phone, you wouldnt be caught with another brand and miss the chance, eventually, samsung actually gave him an official marketing team worker ID 🤣 He (jhope, jimin, nam too) is samsung ambassador as of now 💜✨ 8. The music, you mentioned how good the sound is, so EL CAPITXN, the DJ during the concert is also the his work husband, hes behind producing, sometimes cowriting and mixing a lot of agust d’s music, hes one of his best friends but also al amazing produces for BTS, agust D, and many many more groups and singers (def recommend checking out his suchwita, which is also the last suchwita of season 1) Yoongi brought him on tour as a sound engineer to make sure everything was on point all the time This was so long, but hopefully youll read at least a little but of it! Haha fun seeing new fans watching their concerts! The monitors with lyrics are a common thing, at least with the artists I know. Also, if you want to see this concert fully without cuts, there are several livestream recordings, my favorite is from the final day 3. Don’t worry, there is A LOT of content from behind the scenes, starting from bangtan episodes to full documentaries.
My daughter and I saw Yoongi’s movie in San Antonio and it was amazing!! Everyone there was Army and sang and cheered during the whole performance. Army will always come through for BTS! 🫰🏼💜

All BTS members have personalised mic's each has a different colour mic. Some members have bejazzled mic's as well like Jin's pink with the crystals and RM blue mic with the Crystals. They also have their own personal 'Back Up' Mic's.

With the his live band back stage just before they go on they all have a 'Shot of Whisky' he's even said that. I'm not sure how much more he drunk on stage but he did pick a variety of different coloured liquids including bottles of water and that was the same in footage from his solo concerts from in the USA. As ARMY have posted their own clips of those concerts and some of them you can tell he not only just drinking water.
36 yr old ARMY here went on Saturday the theater was packed and there were really nice ARMY that made gift bags for everyone. So we got photo cards, keychains, and more little goodies. Not only that but I have seen it mentioned but the members signed his guitar. Also I love your reactions. 💜
Yoongi’s mic, as well as the panel and neck of his guitar were decorated in traditional Korean designs, usually used in furniture or decorative boxes, made of mother-of-pearl designs in black lacquer. The merch for the tour included a guitar pick in this style. I’m with you in that my one single disappointment or criticism of this movie is that I would have like to have seen more of the ‘story’ being conveyed by the shrinking stage.

Yes the member's playing instruments of stage live is something only ARMY have witnessed the GP don't know that they can play. We've had Jin play piano and sing on stage and play guitar and sing with V, Jimin and Jungkook. We've had Jungkook play drums on stage We've heard and seen V jamming on Saxophone with the bang at the end of the Band Practice for his Tiny desk concert band practice. Well seen and heard RM play keyboard while a little bit tipsy live on weverse. We've seen Jimin working out a melody on a keyboard. But the GP don't really know about that side of them. Oh we've also heard Jungkook playing guitar while J Hope was on the floor by his feet doing some crafting activity.

Day one was Jungkook, he sang "Burn It" where he according to him made a mistake but no one realized until he did a live asking Yoongi to sing again to remedy his mistake. Yoongi told him no HAHAHA but it was because Jimin was leaving on the second day. Jimin sang "Tony Montana" and on the 3rd day it was Nam with "Strange". Yoongi let the 3 sing an individual song after their performances together, Jungkook singing Seven, Jimin Like Crazy and Nam an unreleased song. The initials of the 3 collaborations in that order form BTS. Burn it - Jungkook Tony Montana - Jimin Strange - Namjoon That day of the concert, when Nam appeared shaved, the entire fandom cried for him, however he said that he cut his hair because of the heat, the next day they announced Yoongi's Military Service. We cried to the bald man and the one who was going to leave was the one with long hair. I really recommend you watch Yoongi's last concert. It's super emotional, we all cried with him that day. Plus it has a connection with the amygdala video. That day he finally showed his friendship tattoo and in addition to Namjoon being with him, Jhope and Jin were also supporting him. They took a break from military service to go support Yoongi.
To your question about whether or not he was drinking on stage? Yes, I don't really remember if by his last concert he had already recovered (he was sick and NEVER canceled a concert) and what he was drinking was his tea but at some point during the tour he did drink Whisky. Even at their concerts, if you were of legal age, they also gave you a little Whiskey
His microphone is the one he uses with the BTS boys, if it is his, each BTS has their personalized microphone. In his concert you can see how the stage is getting smaller. Again, I recommend you watch it.
Alright, alright, many already explained but let me expand a lit bit. 1. What to expect. - I was expecting the full concert, not cut to only songs, I wanted to rewatch him showing his tattoo, the emotional 3rd day, the Shibbal screaming and specially he opening the door. 2. We already have behind the scenes from the tour, we have US, SA and Korea's, please check them out in BangtanTV with the vlogs that were released randomly through the tour. 3. There is a DVD of the concerts in Japan, there you'll see many behind the scenes, an option to watch the movie with and without his interaction with ARMY. In this same DVD you'll find the VRs that are like between scenes. 4. D-day's concept is the synchronization of SUGA and AGUST D, through the whole concert he tell his story, a story that happens in his mind. 5. You see him being carried to the stage, the reason is that at the beggining of the show we have a video in which Agust D The Chaser with his gang kidnap Min Yoon Gi in a dark alley, so the concert starts as how he is taken and kept in his mind, the stage is his mind, we can see the Amygdala door in there, the stage in which he was in the Amygdala MV, that's why in the last concert he crosses that door with smile. 6. Subtitles: I invited my sister to go with me, she wasn't able to tell either about the lyrics, the thing is that I guess they asume that ARMYs are the ones that would be there and we might know by heart the lyrics or at least the spirit of them, so they spare us the reading of lyrics so we can just enjoy the show. 7. You are reffering to the "guturals" more used in metal scene, about it, I became a SUGA biased and BTS only, after listening to The Last from his first mixtape, I usually explore many genres but my home is Nu Metal, after listening to that song I stayed with BTS because I identified him with Eminem and later listened to The Last and I saw NU Metal vocalist potential, and wanted to see more, when he said back in 2020 during BE album interviews that he wanted to do folk I was bummed but curious, we are talking about him afterall and he had been showing us his beautiful raspy vocals, another thing that drawn me to him, the same reason I like Harry Styles at some point, I love that kind of voice. So yes, when he did the gutural in Haegum (the first song) I went crazy, and since then it never failed to bring me to Cloud 9 xD 8. I watched the movie in XD and in normal, both are amazing in quality. 9. Indeed, when he makes his music, he already does them intense, but it is also true and he has said it that he likes to be on stage to it is natural that his music is for stages and stadiums, morover he keeps track of every detail through the concert, in the behind the scenes you can appreaciate how he keeps instructing his crew about the sound, and even in the concert during shadow he asks to his team to put him louder. 10. For the stage to be crowded, ohh they were there for specific songs that were meant to show different people and their rutinely dance like in People Part 2 or in Shadow to be his shadows and demons, his fears, that was meant to be like that. 11. I have my ARMY bomb, I took it to the theater once but it was rather uncomfortable to me because I couldn't like move my arms without blinding the other person or distracting myself while trying to match the colors, so for my next functions I just decided to be me and myself xD 12. Seesaw, beautiful seesaw, have you watched the original? Ohh well...check out his cover "It is not love if it hurts" just look for it in this way on UA-cam and choose the one that Weverse uploaded in his WePick section, it is just him and his guitar singing with his raspy/husky voice. About the drawing, the members wrote them before the start of the tour. 13. This is a mix of the three days, to include the memberswe didn't have SDL and Polar Night during these days. There is a new material about SUGA under review right now, I have hopes for it to bring us more content of the tour, the ones that weren't included. 14. During US tour he did have and drunk whisky, but in Asia he had a blend of ginger and lemon because he got sick, and here he was drinking coffee indeed, althought he always said that before performing they used to give a shot of whisky. 15. The designs in his mic and inear are flowers, he is our lotus flower, after Amygdala was released he became our Lotus Flower, that's why you might find Lotus Flower as hashtags associates to him, specially on bad days. 16. I guess that this was your first time watching the performance so many details you couldn't see. The stage wasn't desmounted, they were lifted up during the performance, it is very noticeable during Amygdala. If you were at the concert you'll see this happening but in the movie it could been seen too, and they are very important because they represent each one of Yoon Gi's regrets and traumas being processed and lifted until his mind is emptied and he is ready to open and cross the Amygdala door. 17. He has a lot of interactions, but they rarely put them on screen, those are meant to be for extra content like behind the scenes, episodes, bangtan bombs. The Galaxy event has been the funniest through the D-day tour, once an Iphone was disguised as a Samsung to be touched by him. 18. Indeed Amygdala has rain and this one had fire, Amygdala is YoonGi as Agust D but we have to remember that Fire is SUGA's element throught BU, so I don't want spoil Bangtan Universe with this, but look at it as a cool effect. 19. It is just a proffessional stuff, the teleprompter is an element that is there just like a mic is to support them just in case, but he has been performing these songs consistently even before the tour, he rehearsed the whole concert at least 20 times before the actual tour. And yes, he is a rockstar, he is a rapper because he is good at it but most importantly he is a musician and artist, open to everything, he initial musical formation was classical music through piano and his love for Ryuchi Sakamoto, after Epik High because of their lyric impact it went to rap and then his big influence in style came with Eminem, the first album he ever bought. By the way, he is very much into movie scores, so he is very cinematic in many aspects with his art, that we can say goes beyond music by now.
I didn’t really know what to expect from this movie either, I had already watched the full recording of his last encore date concert, I was pretty confident it was going to be just that last day bc they had already posted all the full behind the scenes from his tour (US leg, Asia leg, and Seoul) on BangTanTV in 3 separate episodes over the weeks leading up to the movie release, so I was glad to be surprised by the little bits of behind the scenes and the fact they combined all the member’s performances (in reality, JK, Jimin and RM all performed in separate days during the encore dates, V hadnt released his album at the time which is why he didnt go on stage, both Jin and J-Hope were already serving, but took one day of off to go see the concert on the last day in which RM performed, they all sat together with RM when he wasnt performing and had their army bombs cheering on for suga). The DJ was el capitxn, he was one of the producers of his D-Day album and also a few recent BTS songs, and he was also interviewed on an episode of suchwita 😊 And during People pt.2 the dance crew were doing dancing a routine that J-Hope choreographed for Suga's song. This same dance is featured on J-Hope's docu-series "Hope on The Street" and they talked abt it during J-Hope's episode on suchwita. I thought they would make me cry by showing him sing “Dear My Friend” where he cried his eyes out and could barely sing the song, but unfortunately (or fortunately for my purple mascara) they did not include that performance in the movie. But just like you, my most expected song of the night was Snooze and it was brilliant. I'm 24 and live in a very small town in Brazil so the movie theater I went to had around 10-15 ARMYS, but just like for you, they ranged from 7-10 year olds up to like 50-60 year olds, at the end, an ARMY gave out a bunch of little “suga” bracelets they had made to everyone, ARMY is just a whole different beast of a fandom, whether it’s a massive concert or a small screening of the movie of a concert ARMYs show how sweet, diverse and generous everyone can be. I hope BTS are forever proud of the fandom they cultivated 💜 Also, IDK if you saw…but BTS is being sneaky and prob planning on releasing something, its hard to explain but BTS's twitter recently made some tweets with cryptic messages and a link to a website with even more cryptic messages, they love to do that and the hints and clues that ARMYs have been able to decypher point to a project being released soon (possibly for their 11th anniversary on June 13 during FESTA)
Also, the liquid IV's are actually very common in Korea. Like if you go out and party and get hung over its common to go and an IV to recover. Or if you feel just a little ill, you go get an IV
They spliced the performances together for the movie since JK, JIMIN and RM were there on different nights. One night Jin and Hobi were in the crowd but they didn’t perform because they were already both enlisted. RM’s hair was just short! Also, how about those vocals from Yoongi?! I loved Seesaw acoustic version. You should definitely listen to the original and watch the lives of it from their group tour. He only sang his parts of the Cyphers, so please listen to all of them to get the full rapline gourmet buffet! I’m 55 now, I saw this movie twice, once alone and once with a few other people, I brought my army bomb and sang my butt off (the parts I can sing!) When I saw the Tokyo concert live in cinema during the tour it did show him talking with the crowd and the stage moved etc. this one was just more edited version I guess. I agree it’s like watching from front row! I was a bit sad that it didn’t show the clip of the last concert where he revealed his tattoo to ARMY, finally exited the door. But that may have been saved because it was so special. No one is cooler than this man! 💜 Thanks for all the BTS content!

We just arrived with my daughter from the cinema, here in Coquimbo, Chile. There were only a few people in the room but it didn't matter, there was Suga singing to us. I sang all the songs, I cried my eyes out when RM appeared and, although I saw the 3 concerts that made this movie, it was like I saw something new. I ended up exhausted, as if I had been at the concert itself. They are mixed feelings, happiness and sadness because I miss them a lot. I'm so glad you saw the movie and greatly enjoyed this special concert. 💜💜

It was like a truly full circle moment. This song is such an inspirational, ever so meaningful, beautiful song! During the Seoul shows I think he was still kinda sick- I believe he said he was drinking this tea/ginger/honey mix for his throat. BUTTTTT I was at his NY show at the beginning of his DDay tour and he DID drink onstage! I think he told us it was whisky. He actually supposedly gave away free whiskey at the arena (although I never saw the booth- others said they did)
Mic had flowers made of pearl mass, you can find photos, some merch had the same designe. And his guitar had to the one from Seesaw, there are flowers it us the same as mic. They (BTS) had costumase mics from like 6 years.... 🤔 In america leg of tour he did drink whisky in his cup. They always use cups like that with straw it easier to drink, you don't need to care about opening bottles, it is faster to use, and safer, etc. So yeah he did drink alcohol. But after he got sick he had lemon, honey, ginger and some more things mix to help him. Yeah stage idea was great, it was so cool when it was dissapiring, there is reason behind it too, but yes you don't see it in movie very well, I think movie was so long after tour (around year) that most fans saw concert so it was more of memory line for fans then showing concert... He talked a lot in concert they simply cut it... ;) for movie, they also showed performances that he wasen't too emotional, so I think there were reasons why it was made less emotional, maybe bc it is in cinemas so close and all hmm that was the decision... Monitors are always there for BTS, hmm, with so mant songs and dancing, etc, they need it to be safe... You have to watch full concert if you want to experience all this (stage and him talking). 😁 Ahh Amygdala wasen't last song so they took him from stage, and he came back with "D-day". "The last" was last song. The fire was used bc it is simple and gives efect, he sings "Come save me" bur there is fire everywere, it gives vibe of the place his head is. There also were VCR like I said in another comment, short movies, and there was fire in them it all conected there....
Glad you enjoyed the concert. I am 56yo ARMY from the Midwest, the members are very encouraging of #dopeoldpeople. They are a truly amazing group of human beings! I went to 2 nights of DDay in Chicago and it was amazing. I was also lucky enough to go to PTD LA & Las Vegas. I agree with you...the sound was very immersive!! This afternoon I was there with a friend...I am 67 years old and my friend is 73 years old! there were men in the room and there were around 300 of us out of a capacity of 400 seats...I was disappointed just by the fact of not seeing the moment when the string of his guitar broke! otherwise it was incredible!! 🤗💜💜💜
I saw the movie in 4D-IMAX theater with approximately 30-35 people (men and women).Met a fellow ARMY and had a GREAT conversation about the members. One person brought their "ARMY bomb" and a guy was wearing a "Shooky headband" (BTS - BT21 Suga character). Would have shown/shared my "Shooky plushie", but he disappeared. Giggles Side note: My daughter found all 8 small plushies at Publix and gave them to me: KOYA/RM, TATA/V, CHIMMY/Jimin, RJ/Jin, COOKY, JK, MANG/J-Hope, SHOOKY/Suga, and VAN/Neutral character. 💞 Loved the film!! I bought the special Cup/Popcorn bucket, of course. LOL🔥 I thought it was interesting: Kung Fu Panda and Ghostbusters also had drink/Popcorn sets, but they had to be purchased together. D-Day drink/popcorn set could be purchased separately. Thought that was a smart decision of the company. My only small disappointment was.......the movie was to SHORT. I wanted 2 1/2 - 3 hours long. 😂😎👍💜
RM shaved his head months before he started military service. He just likes it that way sometimes. People thought it meant he was about to go when he did it, but he said it wasn't related to enlistment at all. Also, no one in the Korean military service is allowed to work a second job in any way, so it's very unlikely that any BTS member would choose to or be able to leave for a day or two in order to do a performance, especially one like this. The military did say they might let BTS do it, but it's generally thought it would only be allowed for the benefit/prestige of the country. ARMY's general stance (not that there is an "official" stance, since we don't have leaders or anything) about it is that we don't want them used that way. Korea wouldn't exempt them from serving, so they shouldn't take advantage of the situation now and use BTS for the country's benefit. As for the drinking, he said it was mostly a version of an herbal/lemon tea/water. He did do a shot of whiskey with the musicians before every performance, though.

In the actual concert JK performed Seven after Burn it, Jimin performed Like Crazy after Tony Montana, and RM performed his unreleased, soon to be new song (it has no name yet). They all performed on separate days. Wish they added those performances in the movie. Also RM shaved his hair way before he enlisted. He enlisted in December and DDay concert was in August. I’m so glad you had a great time. I’m manifesting that we all get tickets to the next BTS concert. Sorry I keep editing my comments. 😂 He does talk to the audience in between sets. In one of concert days, I forget which country it was at, he revealed his “7” tattoo. All the BTS member got the “7” as a friendship tattoo. Yoongi was the last one to reveal where he put it. There was a lot of things that happened in each concert. Also other guest artists that shared the stage with him.

I'm really loving your review. 62 yr old ARMY here. I went on Friday. I live in New York. I was so excited because I'm baby ARMY (since 6/23), so I thought that I would meet some ARMYs. Would you believe that there were only 2 of us in the theater? Me and another ARMY. She said that she was surprised that no one else was there, at that showing, which was at 1230 pm because she knew that half of the theater had been sold and then she said it was probably to support for that particular showing. I was disappointed with that. BUT not at all disappointed with the movie. I felt like I was right there at the concert, it was amazing, it was emotional, so awesome. I knew all of the songs except for one and I had heard it before, but I didn't know enough of it to kind of sing along, but, I was thrilled to pieces. I was singing the other songs as loud as I wanted to in the theater and me and my fellow ARMY were far enough apart that she couldn't hear me and I couldn't hear her and everything was loud anyway. I was just looking forward to being amongst others who felt the same way that I feel about SUGA Agust D/BTS. Oh, by the way, there is a performance of Dynamite in which JK is playing the drums. Oh, Yoongi was definitely drinking alcohol on the stage. 😂 He started with whiskey as the tour started but once he developed his cold that he got while touring, he switched to a highball, which was alcohol with some healthy stuff thrown in. During the actual tour, he also sprung for ARMY at the show to get free Hennessey.
Hello, so a new subscriber here. I watched your reaction to suchwita with JK yesterday and i automatically subbed. Today i have been going through your other reactions and when i saw this pop up i had to watch it. So i am 40 and my very first ever concert was 2 yrs ago BTS Permission to Dance in Las Vegas, and then last year i went to Suga's concert in LA. Best money i have ever spent. I was able to see the movie on Wednesday also and of course it was awesome. The guys never disappoint, especially when performing live. Also, just to warn you this might be a long comment...haha sorry! As i was watching this there was so much to say, but i will TRY to hold back on some things...haha when you were talking about the sound quality BTS has some what of a pre-show called "sound check" and you can buy tickets for the sound check, but it is HARD to get those. Anyway, during sound check they usually perform 3 songs where and will talk with the sound tech to make sure everything to good. You can find fancams of these, i really want to go to soundcheck at least once. The ARMY Bombs if you are going to wait to get one til the next concert i would recommend you wait til you are at the venue, it will save you money. They make sure they have ARMY Bombs on hand to purchase and i have never heard of them selling out. The guitar like others have told you was signed by all the member wishing him good luck on with the tour and Suga also said it was a way of bring the members with him. I feel like Suga is one of the sentimental members. Oh and you mentioned the water bottles...haha Well, when BTS are performing hype songs and there are water bottles it is pure choas. The members will chase each other trying to throw water on each other and then throw water on the crowd. It is so fun to watch. As for the Mic, yes it is bejeweled. All the members have custom mics made. The have a set of metallic ones and a set of bejeweled ones and each member has a different color. One time during practice some of the jewels fell off of Jin's mic and he had to use his back up mic. For the stage, it was made up if square platforms and each platform was hooked up to some wires and after every song a pieces of the stage was lefted up. There is actually scene dueing the movie when you see one of the platforms lefting up, but i cant remember which song he was starting to sing when it happened. Sorry that was long, i am going to continue to try and get caught up with your reactions and i am glad you enjoyed the movie. Unlike many other artists, BTS is one of those artists that are better live! Looking forward to watching morr BTS with you!

the editing for the jimin, jk, and rm parts was a little strange because they actually pulled those from three separate nights. JK came the first night of the final concerts and sang Burn It with Suga and then did Seven, Jimin the second night did tony montana with suga and then did Like Crazy, and on the last night RM did Strange with suga and then did a brand new unreleased untitled song (very cool moment)...unfortunately for whatever reason they decided to just show the songs each member did with suga, so that was why they didn't show the transitions. I am still glad they included them though! Everything else i believe was from the final night of the tour though they did omit two songs. the unedited livestream version of some of the nights may be available somewhere to watch if you want to react or watch it someday too! the other thing edited out were some of the theatrics like videos that would play that kind of tied the theme of the show together with the trilogy. I loved this experience too but it was fun to see both this version and the livestream. thank you for your video! I believe Suga mentioned in one of the behind-the-scenes clips that he and his crew started each show with a shot of whiskey. I know he sometimes drink beer during the show, but I don’t know if he drank whiskey during the show or just at the beginning. In the cup I believe was ginger tea, which he drank sometimes for his voice, especially when he was sick.

They cut a couple of songs, especially Dear My Friend, since he got so emotional he couldn't sing. I'm hoping that whatever DVD version they release will have those songs and the moment he walks through the door at the final show, which we only caught a brief glimpse of.

All the members signed their names to Suga’s guitar. Jimin was the one who drew not just his own name on Suga’s guitar, but he also was the one who artistically wrote Suga on the guitar as well! Aside from being a top student excelling in art, Jimin also excelled in calligraphy!👍❤️🔥✍️🐥🥰
I didnt know they were so talented. I have heard other people talk about JK and how good he is at painting and that there is a run bts episode that will show that but I didnt know the others were very artistic lol. I do love the design on the guitar tho ! 😊

There are also videos of SUGA playing songs on his piano and guitar on Vlogs of his, and in concert. Livestreams with ARMY. And RM now plays the saxophone and piano. Also, about RM, he loves to cut his hair short when the weather gets warm, so this had nothing to do with the military. Also, he didn't enlist until much later. RM, V, JIMIN, and JK, enlisted December 11 & 12, 2023. Suga's concerts were April thru August 2023. And yes, SUGA did drink on Stage. His microphone design was abalone and mother of pearl, in the same design as on his guitar. I think his earpieces match as well.
They did show sections of the stage being lifted in the air at certain points, you may not have noticed it, but they did show it. BTS are all rock stars. If you watch the rap line songs, Mic Drop, RUN BTS, at the BUSAN concert, you will see that. And the vocal line as well. Butterfly and Zero O'Clock, are EPIC. All the guys give credit to their musicians, choreographer, Dancers, and paying homage to artists that they use their music. SUGA didn't need the lyrics. J-Hope had the same at Lollapalooza, but he didn't need them either. It's a "just in case" thing.

During the actual concerts JK, Jimin and Namjoon performed one of their solo songs before leaving the stage. You can find those performances on UA-cam. JK did Seven, Jimin did Like Crazy and RM did an unreleased song. RM had the buzzcut for months before he went into the military.
He talks about the drink in one of the Suchwita. He was definitely drinking on stage. He said he was making High Ball with an energy drink in it.

This concert and tour is based on the story line of Agust D (all 3 albums) they took out a lot of backstory videos that played in between sets. Also,each member Performed on different days, they cut out the parts where yoongi leaves the stage and they sing their own songs( Seven, Like Crazy and an unreleased song from RM) Btw Jk performed Burn it on 1st day..Jimin performed Tony Montana on 2nd day and RM performed Strange on 3rd day with yoongi and if you take the first letters of each song it spells out BTS..he thought of everything. Obviously this movie didn’t show everything and it was a mix of the last 3 shows..or else it would be like 4 hours long and he did interact with the crowd a lot..but I’m glad you enjoyed it, seeing him in concert in NYC was something I will never forget..I miss him and the members..I can’t wait for 2025💜
I wish they would included the other songs performed by RM, Jimin and JK. That wouldve been the cherry on top lol. But its okay ! Actually RM had his head shaved for quite awhile before he enlisted. He said he shaved his head because of the summer heat. Thanks for sharing your experience. I am unable to go to this movie but I actually went to his concert in Chicago last year (it was incredible to see Suga live in person) and I saw his Japan concert at the movies last year too. I'm so happy you had a good time.

Most of the US concerts he was drinking whiskey during the concert but he got sick once he hit Asia so he drank a medicinal concoction of some kind of tea/herbs to help his throat as he had a persistent cough for a few of the shows. I was lucky to get to Singapore to see all 3 shows and it felt like he'd turned a corner and was back to his good old bad self - he was bloody amazing and it was one of the best experiences of my life.
I’m a 59 yo Army since 2014. They found me when I needed them most and I never let go, and never will. I see you are a very excited baby army. Welcome. 💜 The concert had a concept from beginning to end. Yoongi showed us his progression of feelings and of self in a very open and raw way. He has grown soooooo much. His cyphers show that as well. He also shows his progression with being on stage in the beginning of 2013 through now. It’s very intricate and very Yoongi/Agust D/Suga. There’s a reason he was carried on and it has deep meaning. stepping into the spot light on his own, with no fear. He allows himself to get close to us, phones, selfies, big smiles. Major change. And yes, those tears last day. He carried a lot and showed us song by song how he put it away. He put that concert concept together with carte blanche of everything it involved. The concert in NY was wild!! I needed another carryon just for my goodies and all the things other ARMYs gave me💜💜BTS saved my life. I loved them all like beautiful nephews. No bias, I think … but Suga is my heart. That mental musical connection. If it came out of the genius lab, it’s gonna touch your soul.
I hope you take the time to learn more about them individually and as a whole. It will widen your eyes and your mind to places you never dreamed of. I promise. It makes it easier for newer ARMYs if they understand. Your “review”was more of an excited OMFG it was this and this and idk why…. But hey, you loved it, and you tried. That deserves kudos! I'm a 71-year-old Army and a Stay! There is no age limit on appreciation for true talent! I'm just really disappointed that this concert movie was not being shown anywhere in the Pacific Northwest. I would think that Seattle or Portland would've been a great venue… That being said, as soon as it's announced that BTS is back on tour, I will definitely wrestle you for a ticket, lol!

I watched the movie and yup, they just never disappoint. Yes he was drinking alcohol while on stage but there was a point where he had to replace it with energy drink because he fell ill. Yoongi really is savage, there were lots of cussing said and done in his concerts that weren’t in the movie. Also, i wish they included the one where he was sobbing! It was very emotional. And when he showed his 7 tattoo for the first time!
Did they make it clear when JK, Jimin and RM sang, the songs spelled BTS: “(B)urn it”, “(T)ony Montana, “(S)strange”?
If I was a betting woman, I’d say he was probably drinking alcohol. 😊, especially if he was sick. When JK was on his show Suchwita, he told JK about being really sick with a high fever and felt like he might collapse. He made what he called … I forgot, but like Super Highball. That helped him make it through.

This is the 2nd time that the D Day concert has been played in the movie theatre. The first time it was copy paste of the actual tour. This time they cut out 4 songs and placed songs in different performance order. They also used footage from different perfomance days. Each time you saw the behind clips it was actually a replacement for his outfit change clips. This final was also livestreamed real time, so i think the edits were due to the facts that so many ARMY had already seen the full footage.

Hi ! I am 56 I went on my birthday with 2 of my daughters and the next day I saw it on IMAX with my LA crew. (We saw BTS at SoFi a couple of years ago) we also saw Agust-D in concert in Rosemont Illinois last May. It was INCREDIBLE ! The atmosphere in that concert was electric !!!
In person the stage looked bigger. The camera work compressed the space.
At the concert you sinc your Army light stick to your seat and a control room changes the color for you.

This concert was filmed over three nights. The first night was JK. After Suga left the stage, JK did Seven. The second night, after Tony Montana, Jimin did Like Crazy. The third night after the did Strange, RM performed an untitled and unreleased song.
If you want a little extra info about this concert, you should watch the Suchwita episode 27 with El Capitxn. El Capitxn is his best friend and DJ at the concert. They talk about it quite a bit. Actually, I think it is my favorite episode.
They edited this concert a lot. As you said, they cut out a lot of the stage floating away. It was really cool. They also cut out several songs to make it fit a typical movie length.
There are two versions of Tony Montana. One with Jimin and one with a rapper named Yankie. They have different vibes, but both great.

4:52 I wished they included the background videos because man, it was truly like a movie! Imagine a rainy night and you see dark, dingy alleyway. There is a figure on the street who seems to have been hit by a car (I feel like this is a call back to his accident 😢).. the camera zooms in and it is Suga but as it further zooms into his eyes, you see that there is fire. Like, wow! This is concert is so unique as it feels like I am watching a play unfold because the background video, the performance on stage and even the stage itself told a story from beginning to end.

One thing I also wished they could have included is after amygdala, he performed Nevermind . He was going to exit as usual but in the very last concert. There was a white door from Amygdala. Saw it also on Wednesday! It was amazing and can feel how much you enjoyed it too by your review. The behind the scenes footage of the D-Day tour is on the BangtanTV channel. There’s a ep for US, Asia and Seoul. Hoping there is behind the scenes of The Final soon. Regarding the phones, Suga is a rep for Samsung Galaxy ( even produced a new version of their theme song) so during the US tour when he walks towards the audience he looks for Samsung phones but he only was seeing iPhones in the audience so he tells the audience “only Samsung , no iPhones” Suga is savage and I love it!
I went for the Saturday showing i was so emotional, i am so proud of Yoongi!!!! In the cinema we were all dancing and singing along it was such a beautiful experience. I miss BTS so much!! Jimin, V and Jungkook also watched the concert in the audience on the last day (25 June 2023) where Suga gave us all a surprise by announcing 3 more shows in Seoul from August 4-6. And on the 6th Jin and Jhope took a day off from the military to attend the concert. It was so wholesome and precious!!
JK, Jimin and RM actually performed on 3 different days. They each also performed a solo song after the colab song with SUGA. The movie was an edit of all their performances put together. He had other artists on stage during the different shows: Halsey, MAX and PSY. Also, I don't think he did it in the Seoul concerts (I didn't see the movie) but I know in the US concerts his stage slowly disappears by having parts of it lift up to the ceiling after each set of songs. In the end he is left with a small square to perform on. Therefore, the small stage has a significance in his performance.
I saw the Busan concert at XD theater and I agree. It was like being at the concert. The theater was full. not all seats but 3/4 of them. all ages, army bombs, singing and dancing, and all ages! RM shaved his head a long time prior. and NO he was NOT in yet the military has a rule no artist can perform while in service. JIn and J hope were also there, did they show them? maybe you'll tell us. His throat was sore, it's a highball with other stuff in it. He was on his talked show he talked about it. also on Jimmy Fallon show. They all have mics like that. Suga's is black and they are all rhinestone covered in same color, they have matching in ears. Jimin's is gold, Jins is Pink, J Hope red, RM is blue JK is purple, V is green.

A few notes from your question (as many as I remember and havent been answered before:
1. I would recommend to watch a full concert (someone suggested DDAY Encore Day 3, YES) as in the full length you will get the VCR bits before and during the concert, those explain more about the “lore” of the Agust D trilogy.
2. The design on the mic is a lotus flower pattern hes used through DDAY tour, very pretty, if you remember he uses the lotus flower as a symbol a few times
3. The people pt2 choreo was created by j-hope and gifted to him for the tour, he talks abiut this more during the full lenght concerts, and also jhope performs it in the Hope on the street docu series
4. Even with these few BTS scenes, I dont think you get the full picture of how much effort he put into this tour, hes just a genius, literally, youll eventually get to see this in the bangtan bombs and episodes (theyre on bangtan tv) and he talks about this in a fee Suchwita episodes
5. Tony. Montana. This song was performed by him and jimin last time in… 2017? And we have been waiting for them to perform it again ever since, and from the first date on tour, and throught the full tour we kept on wishing and waiting they would do it again, and getting that performance was everything, suga even tries to convince Jimin to do it during his Suchwita episode, and its just hilarious
6. One thing that just shows how much respect and love for his members he has was the fact that the main act simply ditched the stage without saying a word and just left them there to do their thing 😭 on DDAY day 3, you even get to see him saying hi to Jin and jhope, who figured out their leave schedules to be there for the last day of tour
7. Galaxy, it kinda started as a funny thing he did during the first dates on the US, as hes always been a pro samsung guy, but during tour he sealed it with blood 😂, samsung even had a rent zone for galaxy phones for the barricade people in case you had the chance of him grabing your phone, you wouldnt be caught with another brand and miss the chance, eventually, samsung actually gave him an official marketing team worker ID 🤣
He (jhope, jimin, nam too) is samsung ambassador as of now 💜✨
8. The music, you mentioned how good the sound is, so EL CAPITXN, the DJ during the concert is also the his work husband, hes behind producing, sometimes cowriting and mixing a lot of agust d’s music, hes one of his best friends but also al amazing produces for BTS, agust D, and many many more groups and singers (def recommend checking out his suchwita, which is also the last suchwita of season 1) Yoongi brought him on tour as a sound engineer to make sure everything was on point all the time

In the final performance of the Seoul concert, which was the last venue of this tour, he finally opens the door that he couldn't open in the "AMYGDALA" music video and concludes the long journey. Haha fun seeing new fans watching their concerts! The monitors with lyrics are a common thing, at least with the artists I know. Also, if you want to see this concert fully without cuts, there are several livestream recordings, my favorite is from the final day 3. With the his live band back stage just before they go on they all have a 'Shot of Whisky' he's even said that. I'm not sure how much more he drunk on stage but he did pick a variety of different coloured liquids including bottles of water and that was the same in footage from his solo concerts from in the USA. As ARMY have posted their own clips of those concerts and some of them you can tell he not only just drinking water.

36 yr old ARMY here went on Saturday the theater was packed and there were really nice ARMY that made gift bags for everyone. So we got photo cards, keychains, and more little goodies. Not only that but I have seen it mentioned but the members signed his guitar. Also I love your reactions. 💜
Yoongi’s mic, as well as the panel and neck of his guitar were decorated in traditional Korean designs, usually used in furniture or decorative boxes, made of mother-of-pearl designs in black lacquer. The merch for the tour included a guitar pick in this style.
I’m with you in that my one single disappointment or criticism of this movie is that I would have like to have seen more of the ‘story’ being conveyed by the shrinking stage.

Yes the member's playing instruments of stage live is something only ARMY have witnessed the GP don't know that they can play.
We've had Jin play piano and sing on stage and play guitar and sing with V, Jimin and Jungkook. We've had Jungkook play drums on stage
We've heard and seen V jamming on Saxophone with the bang at the end of the Band Practice for his Tiny desk concert band practice. Well seen and heard RM play keyboard while a little bit tipsy live on weverse. We've seen Jimin working out a melody on a keyboard.
But the GP don't really know about that side of them. Oh we've also heard Jungkook playing guitar while J Hope was on the floor by his feet doing some crafting activity.
I was seated by 2 ladies who were also maybe in their 60’s , one is army annd the other just accompanied her(and she is korean), then I overheard her saying to her army friend , “ i never knew he is this good, and I am korean”

That movie is a compilation of Yoongi's last 3 concerts. Every day was a different BTS, that's why those transitions. Day one was Jungkook, he sang "Burn It" where he according to him made a mistake but no one realized until he did a live asking Yoongi to sing again to remedy his mistake. Yoongi told him no HAHAHA but it was because Jimin was leaving on the second day. Jimin sang "Tony Montana" and on the 3rd day it was Nam with "Strange".
Yoongi let the 3 sing an individual song after their performances together, Jungkook singing Seven, Jimin Like Crazy and Nam an unreleased song.
The initials of the 3 collaborations in that order form BTS.
Burn it - Jungkook
Tony Montana - Jimin
Strange - Namjoon
That day of the concert, when Nam appeared shaved, the entire fandom cried for him, however he said that he cut his hair because of the heat, the next day they announced Yoongi's Military Service. We cried to the bald man and the one who was going to leave was the one with long hair.
I really recommend you watch Yoongi's last concert. It's super emotional, we all cried with him that day. Plus it has a connection with the amygdala video. That day he finally showed his friendship tattoo and in addition to Namjoon being with him, Jhope and Jin were also supporting him. They took a break from military service to go support Yoongi.
To your question about whether or not he was drinking on stage? Yes, I don't really remember if by his last concert he had already recovered (he was sick and NEVER canceled a concert) and what he was drinking was his tea but at some point during the tour he did drink Whisky. Even at their concerts, if you were of legal age, they also gave you a little Whiskey
His microphone is the one he uses with the BTS boys, if it is his, each BTS has their personalized microphone.
In his concert you can see how the stage is getting smaller. Again, I recommend you watch it.
Alright, alright, many already explained but let me expand a lit bit.
1. What to expect.
- I was expecting the full concert, not cut to only songs, I wanted to rewatch him showing his tattoo, the emotional 3rd day, the Shibbal screaming and specially he opening the door.
2. We already have behind the scenes from the tour, we have US, SA and Korea's, please check them out in BangtanTV with the vlogs that were released randomly through the tour.
3. There is a DVD of the concerts in Japan, there you'll see many behind the scenes, an option to watch the movie with and without his interaction with ARMY.
In this same DVD you'll find the VRs that are like between scenes.
4. D-day's concept is the synchronization of SUGA and AGUST D, through the whole concert he tell his story, a story that happens in his mind.
5. You see him being carried to the stage, the reason is that at the beggining of the show we have a video in which Agust D The Chaser with his gang kidnap Min Yoon Gi in a dark alley, so the concert starts as how he is taken and kept in his mind, the stage is his mind, we can see the Amygdala door in there, the stage in which he was in the Amygdala MV, that's why in the last concert he crosses that door with smile.
6. Subtitles: I invited my sister to go with me, she wasn't able to tell either about the lyrics, the thing is that I guess they asume that ARMYs are the ones that would be there and we might know by heart the lyrics or at least the spirit of them, so they spare us the reading of lyrics so we can just enjoy the show.
7. You are reffering to the "guturals" more used in metal scene, about it, I became a SUGA biased and BTS only, after listening to The Last from his first mixtape, I usually explore many genres but my home is Nu Metal, after listening to that song I stayed with BTS because I identified him with Eminem and later listened to The Last and I saw NU Metal vocalist potential, and wanted to see more, when he said back in 2020 during BE album interviews that he wanted to do folk I was bummed but curious, we are talking about him afterall and he had been showing us his beautiful raspy vocals, another thing that drawn me to him, the same reason I like Harry Styles at some point, I love that kind of voice. So yes, when he did the gutural in Haegum (the first song) I went crazy, and since then it never failed to bring me to Cloud 9 xD
8. I watched the movie in XD and in normal, both are amazing in quality.
9. Indeed, when he makes his music, he already does them intense, but it is also true and he has said it that he likes to be on stage to it is natural that his music is for stages and stadiums, morover he keeps track of every detail through the concert, in the behind the scenes you can appreaciate how he keeps instructing his crew about the sound, and even in the concert during shadow he asks to his team to put him louder.
10. For the stage to be crowded, ohh they were there for specific songs that were meant to show different people and their rutinely dance like in People Part 2 or in Shadow to be his shadows and demons, his fears, that was meant to be like that.
11. I have my ARMY bomb, I took it to the theater once but it was rather uncomfortable to me because I couldn't like move my arms without blinding the other person or distracting myself while trying to match the colors, so for my next functions I just decided to be me and myself xD
12. Seesaw, beautiful seesaw, have you watched the original? Ohh well...check out his cover "It is not love if it hurts" just look for it in this way on UA-cam and choose the one that Weverse uploaded in his WePick section, it is just him and his guitar singing with his raspy/husky voice. About the drawing, the members wrote them before the start of the tour.
13. This is a mix of the three days, to include the memberswe didn't have SDL and Polar Night during these days. There is a new material about SUGA under review right now, I have hopes for it to bring us more content of the tour, the ones that weren't included.
14. During US tour he did have and drunk whisky, but in Asia he had a blend of ginger and lemon because he got sick, and here he was drinking coffee indeed, althought he always said that before performing they used to give a shot of whisky.
15. The designs in his mic and inear are flowers, he is our lotus flower, after Amygdala was released he became our Lotus Flower, that's why you might find Lotus Flower as hashtags associates to him, specially on bad days.
16. I guess that this was your first time watching the performance so many details you couldn't see. The stage wasn't desmounted, they were lifted up during the performance, it is very noticeable during Amygdala. If you were at the concert you'll see this happening but in the movie it could been seen too, and they are very important because they represent each one of Yoon Gi's regrets and traumas being processed and lifted until his mind is emptied and he is ready to open and cross the Amygdala door.
17. He has a lot of interactions, but they rarely put them on screen, those are meant to be for extra content like behind the scenes, episodes, bangtan bombs. The Galaxy event has been the funniest through the D-day tour, once an Iphone was disguised as a Samsung to be touched by him.
18. Indeed Amygdala has rain and this one had fire, Amygdala is YoonGi as Agust D but we have to remember that Fire is SUGA's element throught BU, so I don't want spoil Bangtan Universe with this, but look at it as a cool effect.
19. It is just a proffessional stuff, the teleprompter is an element that is there just like a mic is to support them just in case, but he has been performing these songs consistently even before the tour, he rehearsed the whole concert at least 20 times before the actual tour.
And yes, he is a rockstar, he is a rapper because he is good at it but most importantly he is a musician and artist, open to everything, he initial musical formation was classical music through piano and his love for Ryuchi Sakamoto, after Epik High because of their lyric impact it went to rap and then his big influence in style came with Eminem, the first album he ever bought. By the way, he is very much into movie scores, so he is very cinematic in many aspects with his art, that we can say goes beyond music by now.
The mic design is the same as on the guitar. BTS have personalized mics and in ears
I didn’t really know what to expect from this movie either, I had already watched the full recording of his last encore date concert, I was pretty confident it was going to be just that last day bc they had already posted all the full behind the scenes from his tour (US leg, Asia leg, and Seoul) on BangTanTV in 3 separate episodes over the weeks leading up to the movie release, so I was glad to be surprised by the little bits of behind the scenes and the fact they combined all the member’s performances (in reality, JK, Jimin and RM all performed in separate days during the encore dates, V hadnt released his album at the time which is why he didnt go on stage, both Jin and J-Hope were already serving, but took one day of off to go see the concert on the last day in which RM performed, they all sat together with RM when he wasnt performing and had their army bombs cheering on for suga).
The DJ was el capitxn, he was one of the producers of his D-Day album and also a few recent BTS songs, and he was also interviewed on an episode of suchwita 😊
And during People pt.2 the dance crew were doing dancing a routine that J-Hope choreographed for Suga's song. This same dance is featured on J-Hope's docu-series "Hope on The Street" and they talked abt it during J-Hope's episode on suchwita.
I thought they would make me cry by showing him sing “Dear My Friend” where he cried his eyes out and could barely sing the song, but unfortunately (or fortunately for my purple mascara) they did not include that performance in the movie. But just like you, my most expected song of the night was Snooze and it was brilliant.
I'm 24 and live in a very small town in Brazil so the movie theater I went to had around 10-15 ARMYS, but just like for you, they ranged from 7-10 year olds up to like 50-60 year olds, at the end, an ARMY gave out a bunch of little “suga” bracelets they had made to everyone, ARMY is just a whole different beast of a fandom, whether it’s a massive concert or a small screening of the movie of a concert ARMYs show how sweet, diverse and generous everyone can be. I hope BTS are forever proud of the fandom they cultivated 💜
Also, IDK if you saw…but BTS is being sneaky and prob planning on releasing something, its hard to explain but BTS's twitter recently made some tweets with cryptic messages and a link to a website with even more cryptic messages, they love to do that and the hints and clues that ARMYs have been able to decypher point to a project being released soon (possibly for their 11th anniversary on June 13 during FESTA)
Also, the liquid IV's are actually very common in Korea. Like if you go out and party and get hung over its common to go and an IV to recover. Or if you feel just a little ill, you go get an IV
They spliced the performances together for the movie since JK, JIMIN and RM were there on different nights. One night Jin and Hobi were in the crowd but they didn’t perform because they were already both enlisted. RM’s hair was just short!
Also, how about those vocals from Yoongi?! I loved Seesaw acoustic version. You should definitely listen to the original and watch the lives of it from their group tour. He only sang his parts of the Cyphers, so please listen to all of them to get the full rapline gourmet buffet!
I’m 55 now, I saw this movie twice, once alone and once with a few other people, I brought my army bomb and sang my butt off (the parts I can sing!)
When I saw the Tokyo concert live in cinema during the tour it did show him talking with the crowd and the stage moved etc. this one was just more edited version I guess.

I was a bit sad that it didn’t show the clip of the last concert where he revealed his tattoo to ARMY, finally exited the door. But that may have been saved because it was so special.

We just arrived with my daughter from the cinema, here in Coquimbo, Chile. There were only a few people in the room but it didn't matter, there was Suga singing to us. I sang all the songs, I cried my eyes out when RM appeared and, although I saw the 3 concerts that made this movie, it was like I saw something new. I ended up exhausted, as if I had been at the concert itself. They are mixed feelings, happiness and sadness because I miss them a lot. I'm so glad you saw the movie and greatly enjoyed this special concert. 💜💜

During the Seoul shows I think he was still kinda sick- I believe he said he was drinking this tea/ginger/honey mix for his throat. BUTTTTT I was at his NY show at the beginning of his DDay tour and he DID drink onstage! I think he told us it was whisky. He actually supposedly gave away free whiskey at the arena (although I never saw the booth- others said they did)

Yeah stage idea was great, it was so cool when it was dissapiring, there is reason behind it too, but yes you don't see it in movie very well, I think movie was so long after tour (around year) that most fans saw concert so it was more of memory line for fans then showing concert...
He talked a lot in concert they simply cut it... ;) for movie, they also showed performances that he wasen't too emotional, so I think there were reasons why it was made less emotional, maybe bc it is in cinemas so close and all hmm that was the decision...
Monitors are always there for BTS, hmm, with so mant songs and dancing, etc, they need it to be safe...

The fire was used bc it is simple and gives efect, he sings "Come save me" bur there is fire everywere, it gives vibe of the place his head is. There also were VCR like I said in another comment, short movies, and there was fire in them it all conected there....

I went to 2 nights of DDay in Chicago and it was amazing. I was also lucky enough to go to PTD LA & Las Vegas. I agree with you...the sound was very immersive!! This afternoon I was there with a friend...I am 67 years old and my friend is 73 years old! there were men in the room and there were around 300 of us out of a capacity of 400 seats...I was disappointed just by the fact of not seeing the moment when the string of his guitar broke! otherwise it was incredible!! 🤗💜💜💜
I saw the movie in 4D-IMAX theater with approximately 30-35 people (men and women).Met a fellow ARMY and had a GREAT conversation about the members. One person brought their "ARMY bomb" and a guy was wearing a "Shooky headband" (BTS - BT21 Suga character). Would have shown/shared my "Shooky plushie", but he disappeared. Giggles
Side note: My daughter found all 8 small plushies at Publix and gave them to me: KOYA/RM, TATA/V, CHIMMY/Jimin, RJ/Jin, COOKY, JK, MANG/J-Hope, SHOOKY/Suga, and VAN/Neutral character. 💞

I thought it was interesting: Kung Fu Panda and Ghostbusters also had drink/Popcorn sets, but they had to be purchased together. D-Day drink/popcorn set could be purchased separately. Thought that was a smart decision of the company.

30:23 his 🎤 is black i think with mother pearl design that is unique to South Korea, it is also on his guitar. All the members has special design 🎤..
RM shaved his head months before he started military service. He just likes it that way sometimes. People thought it meant he was about to go when he did it, but he said it wasn't related to enlistment at all. Also, no one in the Korean military service is allowed to work a second job in any way, so it's very unlikely that any BTS member would choose to or be able to leave for a day or two in order to do a performance, especially one like this. The military did say they might let BTS do it, but it's generally thought it would only be allowed for the benefit/prestige of the country. ARMY's general stance (not that there is an "official" stance, since we don't have leaders or anything) about it is that we don't want them used that way. Korea wouldn't exempt them from serving, so they shouldn't take advantage of the situation now and use BTS for the country's benefit.
As for the drinking, he said it was mostly a version of an herbal/lemon tea/water. He did do a shot of whiskey with the musicians before every performance, though.
Yoongi already made a documentary for the making of the D-Day album and this was shown in cinemas last year. You are just a bit late!💜

He preformed Seesaw in an acoustic version. It’s so beautiful! The original is great too. You should react to it. In the actual concert JK performed Seven after Burn it, Jimin performed Like Crazy after Tony Montana, and RM performed his unreleased, soon to be new song (it has no name yet). They all performed on separate days. Wish they added those performances in the movie. Also RM shaved his hair way before he enlisted. He enlisted in December and DDay concert was in August. I’m so glad you had a great time. I’m manifesting that we all get tickets to the next BTS concert.
Sorry I keep editing my comments. 😂 He does talk to the audience in between sets. In one of concert days, I forget which country it was at, he revealed his “7” tattoo. All the BTS member got the “7” as a friendship tattoo. Yoongi was the last one to reveal where he put it. There was a lot of things that happened in each concert. Also other guest artists that shared the stage with him.

I'm really loving your review. 62 yr old ARMY here. I went on Friday. I live in New York. I was so excited because I'm baby ARMY (since 6/23), so I thought that I would meet some ARMYs. Would you believe that there were only 2 of us in the theater? Me and another ARMY. She said that she was surprised that no one else was there, at that showing, which was at 1230 pm because she knew that half of the theater had been sold and then she said it was probably to support for that particular showing. I was disappointed with that. BUT not at all disappointed with the movie. I felt like I was right there at the concert, it was amazing, it was emotional, so awesome. I knew all of the songs except for one and I had heard it before, but I didn't know enough of it to kind of sing along, but, I was thrilled to pieces. I was singing the other songs as loud as I wanted to in the theater and me and my fellow ARMY were far enough apart that she couldn't hear me and I couldn't hear her and everything was loud anyway.
I was just looking forward to being amongst others who felt the same way that I feel about SUGA Agust D/BTS.

Oh, Yoongi was definitely drinking alcohol on the stage. 😂 He started with whiskey as the tour started but once he developed his cold that he got while touring, he switched to a highball, which was alcohol with some healthy stuff thrown in. During the actual tour, he also sprung for ARMY at the show to get free Hennessey.
Hello, so a new subscriber here. I watched your reaction to suchwita with JK yesterday and i automatically subbed. Today i have been going through your other reactions and when i saw this pop up i had to watch it. So i am 40 and my very first ever concert was 2 yrs ago BTS Permission to Dance in Las Vegas, and then last year i went to Suga's concert in LA. Best money i have ever spent. I was able to see the movie on Wednesday also and of course it was awesome. The guys never disappoint, especially when performing live. Also, just to warn you this might be a long comment...haha sorry! As i was watching this there was so much to say, but i will TRY to hold back on some things...haha when you were talking about the sound quality BTS has some what of a pre-show called "sound check" and you can buy tickets for the sound check, but it is HARD to get those. Anyway, during sound check they usually perform 3 songs where and will talk with the sound tech to make sure everything to good. You can find fancams of these, i really want to go to soundcheck at least once. The ARMY Bombs if you are going to wait to get one til the next concert i would recommend you wait til you are at the venue, it will save you money. They make sure they have ARMY Bombs on hand to purchase and i have never heard of them selling out. The guitar like others have told you was signed by all the member wishing him good luck on with the tour and Suga also said it was a way of bring the members with him. I feel like Suga is one of the sentimental members. Oh and you mentioned the water bottles...haha Well, when BTS are performing hype songs and there are water bottles it is pure choas. The members will chase each other trying to throw water on each other and then throw water on the crowd. It is so fun to watch. As for the Mic, yes it is bejeweled. All the members have custom mics made. The have a set of metallic ones and a set of bejeweled ones and each member has a different color. One time during practice some of the jewels fell off of Jin's mic and he had to use his back up mic. For the stage, it was made up if square platforms and each platform was hooked up to some wires and after every song a pieces of the stage was lefted up. There is actually scene dueing the movie when you see one of the platforms lefting up, but i cant remember which song he was starting to sing when it happened. Sorry that was long, i am going to continue to try and get caught up with your reactions and i am glad you enjoyed the movie. Unlike many other artists, BTS is one of those artists that are better live! Looking forward to watching morr BTS with you!

the editing for the jimin, jk, and rm parts was a little strange because they actually pulled those from three separate nights. JK came the first night of the final concerts and sang Burn It with Suga and then did Seven, Jimin the second night did tony montana with suga and then did Like Crazy, and on the last night RM did Strange with suga and then did a brand new unreleased untitled song (very cool moment)...unfortunately for whatever reason they decided to just show the songs each member did with suga, so that was why they didn't show the transitions. I am still glad they included them though! Everything else i believe was from the final night of the tour though they did omit two songs. the unedited livestream version of some of the nights may be available somewhere to watch if you want to react or watch it someday too! the other thing edited out were some of the theatrics like videos that would play that kind of tied the theme of the show together with the trilogy. I loved this experience too but it was fun to see both this version and the livestream. thank you for your video! I hadn't seen your videos before but I enjoy the detail you included about your opinions/experience and the care you put into your video. also, it is fun to see your enthusiasm so I will definitely go back and watch some of your bts journey!

I believe Suga mentioned in one of the behind-the-scenes clips that he and his crew started each show with a shot of whiskey. I know he sometimes drink beer during the show, but I don’t know if he drank whiskey during the show or just at the beginning. In the cup I believe was ginger tea, which he drank sometimes for his voice, especially when he was sick.

They cut a couple of songs, especially Dear My Friend, since he got so emotional he couldn't sing. I'm hoping that whatever DVD version they release will have those songs and the moment he walks through the door at the final show, which we only caught a brief glimpse of.
