Really enjoyed the video. It shows that there is more to hunting than hunting! It seemed that your Divebombs were completely vertical. If they were, they disappear when the geese are overhead. When slanted at different angles, there are always some decoys visible to the overhead birds. Mallards are starting to be everywhere. I'm o.k. with that as long as they don't replace the black ducks. I would guess that the greenhead you shot had a black duck girlfriend he was following back to her nesting area. Grandpa's bread made me hungry. Thanks for the video.

A little secret, I can see there is snow so I'm guessing late Jan or Feb? I don't know the season's they have for waterfowl but if it's later in your seasons, here's a trick you need a few more decoy's but if you put out like five family pods of geese, then if you have them native to your area blue heron decoy just one about 30yrd other side of your geese decoy's as a range marker and a confidence decoy. Now wind socks in Windy conditions like two per pod is the trick make sure you do as they say leave a kill hole. That is basically where you want them to Land , now you can put the heron decoy right next to your blind or about 30yrd outside your killing hole but my rule of thumb is 100 decoy's no matter what. And s heron decoy is one more to add. Then, since you got water, floaters are good in the mix. But I see you got a lot going on. So I could tell you if it is feasible, but in My state back in the day. I used to kill lot's of bird's over 100 decoy's and a mix of standard magnum and plain standard decoy's I think is the best. Like the video.

I am from Northern Québec,I am Cree, this years spring was hard to catch some geese as it got so hot early in the season forcing the geese to fly straight north without any stops just a few here and there, some years it’s east to catch geese when spring is cold, but this year it was too hot for the geese so they headed where it was cold,FYI we know a lot more of the geese than you think, thanks for your feedback I hope you enjoyed my editing.
