Was told that this was a late discovered site during the Mussolini era. There is a colony of cats that are protected by a volunteer group that have a office site for souvenirs and contributions @ the SW corner of the Argentina site via a staircase leading down from the street level.
It seems to be that the only structures that survived the Catholic Church destruction of roman buildings were the buildings used by them as churches along side the melting down of roman bronze statues .
what is with all these ceebee geebee dce/dcb. lgbt blah blah??? using a Christian calendar, then you should have the same respect you would for other religions and their calendar. if you don't like the Christian names and their calendar, itz perfectly fine. just go ahead and create you own instead of caricaturing the Christian calendar. but stop being a heel and doing this nonsensical bce dced, ccbb, lgbt.. it is confusing and it is stupid. so, regrettably, a thumbs down for your silliness, although your archaeology is great
It's only confusing to you... and just in case you neglected to notice, historians as a group decided some decades ago that the old monotheistic system was purposely ignorant of, and neglected other cultures and ancient civilizations, all of whose dating systems were based on even less coherent reigns of kings and queens, or god seasons, and came up with a form of dating that removed some of the more egregious failings of our current mythological system. It is still a work in progress. So just settle back and enjoy the pretty pictures

@@kidmohair8151 NOOO. That only means no disrespect and caricaturing of the Christian calendar and sensitivities. You are FREE to make your own calendar, fully different from the Christian (or Muslim, or. other religious calendars), for example, using the French Revolutionary calendar, or anything else, beginning at the time of your choice, but NOT on the birth of the Messiah Jesus, 2022 years ago. Simply incredible how they know every period of construction and when, who and how it was built and destroyed.

Michael Corona There’s a cat refuge right next to the archeological area. There are lots of them taking sunbaths among the roman remains
i love those cats. rome is full of them, and people nicely feed them and are kind to those ancient inhabitants of rome
che bello essere un romano!
Tibi gratias ago pro hoc ostendentes (et pauper mihi excusatio Latine).
Ego quoque haec monumenta in hac pellicula conspicio, quoniam iam procul a Roma vivo et raro ipse aliter illa mirari possum.
Se fosse Brasil invés de Argentina Taria cheio de BR.
