Great gameplay! I do have two questions as a Luster main, though..
    1. How are you using Shifta/Deband? (When you slam the ground before fights.) I've seen others use it this way, but never a Luster.
    2. What's the purple blade-like barrier around you sometimes? I've never seen that before and was curious.

      Hey !
To activate Shifta before a fight starts I’m using Blood Boots, a multi class weapon with strike gust incorporated that let you cast Shifta quickly (quicker than the multi class talis giving Shifta and deband). Luster already has Shifta with voltage, but I’m doing this to get the buff at the beginning of a fight before my first Shifta ticks proc from voltage.
Actually, It wasn’t needed between each stage since Shifta on Luster stays for quite a long time. But at the time I was used to do it because of other classes I played, that’s why I tend to machinaly use these boots before a teleport/fight ^^.
About purple slashes happening sometimes, you should be talking about my mag special auto action. That’s something your mag gets at lvl 200. The one I’m using is called « dance », that’s the best for melee classes since it gives you a % damage buff for each slash doing damage during the whole duration of the special attack. Can’t remember what’s the max % value but it’s really worth it.

Hi I was wondering how do you do a front counter since it has the highest counter dps I just don’t understand how to do it

    • @wandeezpso2114

      Hey,
To perform a front step counter you just need to do a front step through an attack. It will trigger the counter automatically, but ensure you got the corresponding skill unlocked in your skill tree (step guard I think).

    What weapon did you use?
Klauz weapon potential made us have to do 3 normal attack that it fucks with the combo.
I don't know which weapon series to use.

At the time I was using Rivelate gunblade because cras/Klauz weapons were not available yet on global.
But Klauz is far better, just do 3 normal attack quickly to proc the potential and then go back to your combos. You can also use an Enhanced normal and 2 normal since it’s considered as a normal attack too.

Thank you for the video, I learned a lot from watching you clear this. I was wondering if you were ever thinking about doing a luster guide or combo guide like you did with Ph, because that helped me a lot when I was learning to play rifle. At the moment I feel clunky as heck and just spamming the enhanced side to side slash... not sure when to use stay arts or or mobile arts or what to combo 😢 and I'm not sure how to pull off the thing where you do the quick WA jab after a combo

Hey thanks for your feedback :).
Honestly I thought about making something like a "luster combo guide" because from what I've seen, youtube videos about luster covers the moveset but not really what's worth or how to use it properly.
Unfortunately atm I'm busy with my studies and most of my playtime is dedicated to farm to make end game affixes on the next boost week. So if I make something it will be in a few months.
But I can summarize key points about Fomel style and answer your questions here if you want.
First thing to know is that all your PA have about the same DPS (especialy enhanced version when you hold it). And Fomel style is based on enhanced PA.
So it means that your "enhanced combos" (when you chain 2 enhanced PA in a row by pressing the 2nd PA before the first finished) must be done according to the situation.
For instance if you're close to a boss and beginning an enhanced PA like "brand ext" or "Flechette" but you know the boss is gonna be moving 10m away, you can keep on the enhanced combo with a ranged PA like "hollow point" so there's no downtime in your dps.
Precisely why I would use a PA (enhanced) :
Brand Ext : to make damage when the enemy is staying long enough/ to hit while adjusting my position (move PA)
Flechette : To make damage when I don't have enough time for a full brand/ to gap close medium distance (move PA)
=> I tend to use flechette more on a stun/downtime because I really like the PA^^. But most of the time steady dps roation is a mix between brand and flechette.
Hollow point : Has the best range, I use it when I want to hit at range without gaining height.
Scatter : Stay version when you want to move back. Move version to gain height.
For mobbing I everything works well except flechette I would say.
Advanced tip : the best gap closer you can do is : "Hollow point cancel + Forward slidestep"
This move has the best dps among all your PA, you can see me do it sometimes on gemini or masquerade. (or here : ua-cam.com/video/z6l_y9wjDdk/v-deo.html).

Your melee PA have just a tiny bit more dps than ranged ones, but what makes your best damage tool are counters.
Luster has access to 2 kind of counters :
-Guard counters : your forward/backward step when the target is lock.
Forward step is the strongest move luster can do, use it as much as you can. it also refill your gear entirely.
Backward step isn't that good, dps wise a weapon action counter deals more damage.
-Dodge counters : side steps or weapon action dodge.
they're strong counter too (less than front step) and you need to land a normal attack hit after dodging.
So use it but prioritize front step guard.
God I've already written that much^^.
I need to go back to work, but if you're not bored by these expainations I can continue later with quickshot, luster time and "basic rotation model".

@@wandeezpso2114 Hey! Thanks for replying 😄 I didn't expect a mini guide at all and I'm really happy that you took the time to write this. When you have time I would definitely be interested in hearing the rest of what you have to say, this is already much more enlightening than most of the videos I've watched so far 😅

@@southkoreanrice No problem, I'm always up to share knowledge^^.
      About Luster Time (LT) :
Dps itself is not that incredible but still better than your PAs. Note that the explosion that trigger when you press LT has the same dps as the luster time finisher so try to be close to the target when you trigger it.
Use it on cooldown if you have at least 500 voltage (to half the cooldown), or keep it for specific phase to burst/be invincible it's up to you.
About Purge style (double press WA) :
Purge style isn't that bad since PAs in this mode do about the same damage as fomel. But you lose fomel passives and the ability to do enhanced combos so I don't really see any reason to use it.
However, the explosion happening when you release purge style is a very good move (about the same dps as Luster time) that restore completely your gear so you want to use it.
But how to take advantage of Purge explosion without being forced to use the purge style ? That's simple, Luster Time has the effect to remove Purge style when you trigger it.
So just before activating Luster Time (for the trigger and the finisher, both works so you can do 2 Purge explosion with 1 LT), dump all you gear with enhanced combo and use Purge explosion.

@@southkoreanrice About Quickshot (WA dash) :
Quickshot is a move that depend on your style. With fomel, it is a quick dash granting you guardframes during the animation. Its dps is as strong as an enhanced PA and restore a few pps so you should always use it when it's possible unless you can get a counter.
There 2 way to perform it with fomel :
The first one is to do WA after your 4th normal attack.
The second and most important is to do WA after an "enhanced combo" (chain 2 enhanced PA but begin the 2nd PA when the first is still running).
The timing to trigger WA depends on the PA you used to finish the enhanced combo.
So there's not any tricks here, just practice enhanced combos to get the good timing.
Note that sometimes quickshot can be anoying because it makes you pass through your target. For instance that's the case on rockbear if it raises it's hand/head and that's why I don't use it at the beginning of the fight in this video.

Doing this as Techter is Hell on earth.
I cant for the love of god beat Masquarade. He gains resistances against all my damage and i cant Heal myself because of the Training Machiene. I dont even know what to do anymore to gain even more power because i already have 6100 MEL and 4500 TEC power. :/

yeah masq is a real pain for classes that only have a couple of good moves.
In general it forces you to use multiple weapons/Tec/PAs since the cap appears when you've dealt 10% damage with the same action.
I don't know well the techer class but I think the best way is to use Gunblade with Te/lu or Techniques with Te/Ph.
