Everyone is saying that Blaine did the same thing next season, but what I think really upset him was that Kurt didn't think what he was doing was wrong, when Blaine cheated he admitted his mistake and said he was sorry.
I think Blaine cheated on Kurt with Sebastian and he didn't admit, he claimed the texts were rated g but we know Sebastian couldn't even keep it PG when he was talking to Blaine in front of Kurt. He cheated twice and only acknowledged once, he lies about Sebastian.
I just realized how much I loved this show back then, when I used to fight for the remote to watch glee and I couldn't miss an episode because I knew I was going to miss something good... But now today I don't even care if I miss an episode, such a shame.

I've seen it happen to people time and time again. He was flirting openly with another man and allowing him to talk sexually and romantically to him which is as good a foreplay. And Kurt actually thought it okay. Blaine never did. Kurt cheated on Blaine once. Blaine cheated on Kurt once. They're married with babies now and extremely happy. Shall we move on?

As someone who has cheated on his significant other let me just say that those who say they don't feel bad about it do to some effect. Every day I have to look at my husband's face and see the hurt and disappointment he has for me. I thank him that he took me back and continues to stand next to me in life. If I could go back and change things I would. It hurts to know that I did this to him and I just hope that we can one day look past this and get on with our lives.

Gianna Holiday he didn't cheat on him with karofsky, he cheated with some guy he met on Facebook and dated Dave after their second break up. I agree what Kurt did in this episode wasn't that bad but it still wasn't right. Texting some guy you're not seeing that you think about them and miss them and want to be with them isn't right. Blaine made it into a bigger deal than it was but if Kurt felt he had to hide those texts, he shouldn't have written them in the first place.
June C Well honestly I personally stopped watching after the second episode of the fourth season (don't know why) so I'm not certain what happened with Blaine and Kurt at that point. I just have always preferred Kurt as a character and I don't know I guess I was more on his side. I mean if you're going to think of texting as cheating, you might as well let the other person in the relationship know that you don't think it's okay because some people wouldn't consider it cheating.

Yes he did and I'm not making any excuses, but cheating is more than just sex. Emotional affair is just as bad or even worse, because you're sharing something so personal with someone that is not your partner. The fact that Kurt felt he had to hide it shows that he knew it was wrong. They BOTH cheated, it's just Blaine's was psychical while Kurt's was emotional.
Cheating isn't so much about the sex by itself so much as GOING BEHIND YOUR PARTNER'S BACK. Plus, the lying and the disrespect by doing it all without talking to the partner. THAT is the integral part of what makes cheating feel like a betrayal. It's really the difference between cheating and polyamory: the first is about disrespecting, lying, and deceiving your partner while the latter is about talking to your partner and consenting to have multiple people in the relationship or have sex with someone else or have your partner fuck someone else. That's kind of why I respect Blaine for immediately going to Kurt and telling the truth and apologizing. In that sense, he did the mature thing AND showed respect for his partner in spite of his momentary betrayal. Meanwhile, Kurt lying about talking to this guy (who he later on has an affair with) falls under cheating BECAUSE he's trying to keep it a secret from Blaine.
