I am going to ask this on every Si tutorial video until someone at Soundcraft answers my question. I am using an Si Performer 2 with a Firewire card, recording to a Macbook Pro. It records flawlessly. My question is, how do I play back the individual recorded channels on the respective channels on which they were recorded on so that I can play back a band after they stop rehearing, but keep working on the mix (a virtual sound check)?

when I change my fader setup it doesn't get reflected in ViSi Remote (because channels keep their "input number") any way to change that? would be really appreciated! thanks

I work on a Soundcraft si performer and found all FX1 to FX4 buttons are disabled as it’s not lighting up when pressed it. Do you know why or know how to enable these buttons?

When I change a fader (Lets say fader 27) to be one of the built in st. reverbs, it copies that change to fader 27 to all the rest of my cues in the show. Is there a way to keep fader changes like reverb/delay ST returns on a per cue basis, or is it per show basis?

Kevin Lienhard Hi Kevin, unfortunately, it's a tough decision to make, It is currently at a show level so the fader remains for the duration of your cues, imagine you set up a show and then needed to add a channel in the layer... you would loose that fader when you recall all of your next cues if the fader setup was stored at cue level... the show level seems the safest and it's the most reliable on the console. Set it up for the show and then work around that.

@@SoundcraftMixers Or, like on Yamaha consoles, you could just provide a fader layout recall safe. I just got two Expression 3s for free and I'm probably not going to keep them. Feels like mixing with a hand tied behind my back. There isn't even a "previous cue" button.

How can I do virtual checks?

      Hi Alejandro,
To do this you will have to record a snippet of the show using a DAW and the Soundcaft Multi Digital card, you will then have to set the outputs of the DAW to playback through the console and then change the input sources on the console to the multi digital card. This will then send the input sources through the console in a virtual soundcheck fashion.
      Regards,
      Elliott
