Sorry, I didn't show this lamp with the lights off 😑. I'm not sure how I forgot to include it even though I filmed it. I will share it on social media on my social channels. Here is a link to see the lamp in the dark bit.ly/3jYuSQM
Really cool lamp project, I might make one for myself. You should try top use mold release (or cooking spray if your feeling lazy) before the epoxy, the mold comes off much easier.
@@Prabhlematic dish soap
Thanks great job. Looks like a fun build. Looking forward to do one myself.
Thanks for sharing the "in the dark" view lol. I was JUST wondering what it looked like
Bro, this lamp is sick. Nicely done man 👍
That is the best use of resin I have seen yet. The ubiquitous "river tables" leave me a little cold. Too contrived and artificially trendy, but this lamp knocks it out of the park 👍
Agree
Thank you, I appreciate the kind words.
My thoughts exactly
Hear hear!

Elegant design and I like the proportions.
Well done, as usual!
I could see having a few of these with different colors set out in a backyard/around a deck as accent lights.
Thanks for sharing this with us!
I like it!
Recommendation: the guy at Blacktail always seals the wood with a coat of epoxy first before the big pour to reduce bubbles that escape the wood.
Bro, your content is AMAZING. PLEASE come back and create more videos!!!!
Excellent, I think I want to craft a coffee table this way. I would like to see the legs and top of the coffee table finished using your technique in this video. Thanks for the know-how excellent work!
Thank you, I think that's a great idea! I will give it some thoughts.
What a fun idea. You always have interesting projects.
Thank you!
You super talented, keep it up and thanks for sharing, best regards brother from Greece 🇬🇷
I love your work. I’ve been watching you for years. Keep doing what you love. You’re so talented!
I appreciate it! Thanks
This is great, man... Thank you for the demonstration
Another amazing creation Glen I love how this lamp turned out.
I'm literally only 13 but I still love watching your videos because I love seeing the possibilities that I could do In the future.
WELL DONE GLEN! You are so inspiring! 🎉Keep it up! I don’t know if I could make this lamp but it’s so fun to watch you in action!
Very beautiful lamp
Thanks
This lamp is beautiful, great job Glen. Always unique builds.
Your creativity knows no bounds. Thanks for the ideas and continued content.
I appreciate that! Thanks for watching.
yeyy.. a new video..
😃
Thank you for showing your entire creative process. Some of us might be frustrated with making decisions or when things don't work out right away. You model the process quite well.
Love it keeping that one my library cheers pal
I always enjoy watching the videos..
Great job! I love how the finished product looks!!!
Damn, Glen! Now I have yet another project from you that I MUST do!! I like it!!
Brilliant! Thanks for sharing. Don't worry about mistakes, that's how we learn.. When I first started with resin, I was making a small lake, about 6x3 in with Styrofoam. I didn't seal the styrofoam and yeah, it melted and an ungodly mess ensued...Hahaha... Not too funny at that moment though... Thanks again!
I've been making resin accent lights for a couple of months. This video was very helpful. Thanks for the links!!
You should be marketing this to fancy restaurants.
I’m thinking this ranks in top 3 of your projects. Simple but awesome.
Fantastic! Great idea. Great vid!
Wow!! Just found your page while searching dyi for building a room partition (saved that vid in my files for future use in my new place!) then hung around to see how this gorgeous lamp was created. I held my breathe when you poured the epoxy (that blue!!) and when the pour was successful I applauded lol!! Beautiful design, texture and finish! Your channel will be the first stop for all my dyi needs. A true /blue fan!
Красивая работа!👍 Прекрасный дизайн. Спасибо за видео!
Very cool idea! I have a 'starter kit' of resin waiting in my little woodshop, and this just might be the project to use it for!
Always wanted to do one of these, this really lays out the process clearly. Thanks!
nice looking lamp. great video.
I could've done these type lamps with all of my wood which was eaten by termites 😑. Thanks for teaching me this tho 😁🙌
Great project! Makes me want to experiment with resin!
I think its worth a shot! Just to get the feeling.
Looks like a underwater cave. Just needs a diver exploring or schools of fishes.
Never thought about intentionally using broken materials before! Good inspiration.
Love it especially, how you broke the pieces.
Thanks I really appreciate the very clear step by step description
Very well done as usual! You make your builds the way the average DIYer does. Glad you like the opaque but myself I will do a clear coat. Love your videos!
Excellent video and good ideas.
You come up with the coolest projects and great "make" videos! Thank you!
Beautiful work, Glen! Really brilliant idea!!! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks my friend! All is good, I hope you and your family is well.
Thanks..Great Idea..Just love it..!!!!

I love your channel.... My day job is driving a cab, predominantly in the black community. While I love most of my passengers, many don't do anything productive or creative and some even are focused on negative habits. I occasionally met someone creative like you and talking with that person makes me happy
Thats awesome! I like to encourage people to look out their environment. There is more to life than what we often grow up to see.
Build a pergola post with this light design. That would make a great garden art peace
Very creative and nicely done! It would be good first resin project.
Nice to see you put out some content. Get scared, when it takes you so long. Hope all is well with you and yours. Take care and stay safe. Will be waiting on the next episode.
Clap! Clap! Clap! I like it, I can think of someone on UA-cam here that would have started with a $200 block of wood with rot then spent hours cleaning out the rot to make sure the epoxy stuck. So you saved time, money and I can't see a difference in looks.
Love your vids!!! Thanks
Would have loved to have seen the lamp lit in a dark room. Good job!
It's so beautiful
Great project
Very cool project. I have seen crafters use polish as the final step in making the epoxy clear. Nice,. clean, design and good use of materials.
Great work!
Omg I want that light… and adorable tiny iron!
GREAT project Glenn. I have been thinking about trying an epoxy project and this just might be the one.
Thanks for listing the components, many times that's a bigger obstacle than making the project itself! !! !!!
Hey Bud, Long time! I think you should give it a try do something small to build some confidence. I am glad I can help with the list!
Beautiful, Thanks for sharing those tips and the make!
Hey, Thanks bud!
So Cool ! WOW. Complimenti
Nice work!
That's a cool piece. I have a bunch of petrified wood that I've soaked in vinegar to eliminate bubbles. I ordered a bunch of switches, power inputs, and LED bulbs. I was thinking about the tiny LED strands. Maybe another time. I always use Danish Oil and I like to take my auto buffer and use Meguiar's headlight polish on the epoxy. I also like using different glow powders. Good stuff, bro!
Genius is all can say
Creating something like this in a minecraft torch style and perhaps battery powered would be a big hit!
Nice job!
It's beautiful anyway you show it
Pretty cool!
awesome lamp!
maybe an 'upgrade' would be to embed a powerbank inside and make it portable and USB rechargeable...
Nice choice of wood and resin tint! The results are very pleasing to the eye.
The lamp turned out great!
Oh my gosh this is SSOOO cool! It might be the push I need to learn a few electronics basics. TYFS this! Smiles from the Southern California desert, MK 😁🏜
thanks for the videos , they keep on motivating me to be a better designer
man this *wood* be cool to do for like a 6x8 or 8x8 post for like a fireplace mantle or even some thing to just put in the corner of a room and add some leds to change the color
Great project, I want to try this
Fascinating little epoxy lamp!!!!!.....it's agreat project for selling it on etsy too...thanks for the idea!!!😀😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻cheers!!!!
Clean and simple. Great video!
Dude that was brilliant breaking the boards
Sweet idea, that's definitely a project I have to try out.
Thank you for sharing this - that's an awesome project - I have some ideas now, and always enjoy your narration.
Love it! Wanted to see it glow in the dark.
Thank you, sorry about that. I forgot to include the footage.
Too friggin' cool! A PDF of this would be great...
seems to give off an amazing diffused light that looks like a solar system or something
This is excellent
Thank you.
As you are dealing with mains electric I would advise using either heatshrink or liquid rubber wire cover to prevent the wires from making contact in future incase of the solder coming loose over time. Its always good practice to get into the habit of covering exposed wire connections
Nice work . Stay safe
Great idea!!!!
Hey man great video! I'd love to see a build for a accent/liquor cabinet !
Really nice. It would be good to see it in a dark room.
Crazy little lamp 💪🏽
Nicely done.
Love it.
The broken wood effect is really nice 👍
Dynamite ! wow! i love that!
i ll sure try to build one. hoping to get the same result as you. thanks for sharing.
You should give it a go, making mistakes is how you learn.
Great video!
WOW, WHAT A LOVELY JOB YOU HAVE DONE. I LOVE THIS LAMP, I WILL HAVE TO MAKE IT. X
Your work and walkthroughs are amazing
That is a clever design. I hope I can have a shot at it this year.
Very nice. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you.
So simple! Love it.
your instructions are so good.
Dang that is awesome. Thank you
Thank you! Thanks for watching.
