Visiting the Hoover Dam!

In this episode of SparkFreedom I explore all over and inside the Hoover Dam! After visiting the Dam I set up camp right near the shore of Lake Mead!

This location is just north of Valley of Fire State Park and is only about an hour and a half away from Vegas! The camping area is more then large enough for full size rigs and the entrance is super easy to navigate! Once at the main camping area you will be greeted with amazing cliff top views of the surrounding desert region!

This camping location is extremely popular and very close to both Vegas and the Hoover Dam! The main camping area is a large flat lot near the entrance, farther down the road you can find access straight to the edge of lake mead!
However I do not recommend trying to take a big rig to the edge of the lake as the roads deteriorate as you get closer. This camp area is within a National Park fee area, However the fee station closes later in the day.
