- 24 hours in Chiang Mai, Thailand is plenty of time if you do it right! In this video I will be taking you to some of the most important sites in the city of Chiang Mai and also on the outskirts! We will be starting off the day in the Chinatown area of Chiang Mai, more specifically in the Waroros Market then make our way over to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, also known as Temple Doi Suthep before visiting two other amazing temples! We will finish the night off at the Anusarn Market of Chiang Mai, which is one of the most popular night markets in the country!

6:48 who found this temple ? Actually it wasn't a human it was a holy elephant who chose this location about 600 years ago. The ancient King's elephant was forced to carry a Buddha's relics on his back and was fled for casting lots to find the location. The elephant climbed up to this mountain (Suthep mountain). He stopped at the summit and walked clockwise around for 3 times then he died on these location instantly so the king decided to built the temple at this location.

I traveled to Southeast Asia Malaysia in 2008 and 2013. Kuala Lumpur was a modern city It must have gotten better now👍

@@Travelwithchris Malaysia is also one of the cheapest countries. Of course, in Southeast Asia, Vietnam is the cheapest and most expensive country is Singapore, but Malaysia is much cheaper than Western countries, especially in terms of transportation.

Unfortunately I won't be making it that way this time around! I did visit Pai and Mae Hong Son in 2017 and loved it sooo much!

Oh my friend, I'm really jealous of you. I have a girlfriend as a travel companion who is ready to go in every situation. because I watched many of your videos.
My memories of my last trip with my girlfriend were terrible.
We went to Koh Ngai in Krabi province. I was surprised that the girlfriend's bag was so heavy. When she arrived at her accommodation, OMG, she brought the iron to the island.
She forbade me to go swimming during the day. have to wait to see the sea at 16.00 PM only I just shook my head I don't want to stay in bed all day. It was really bad to explore that island.
